He had the best cleanest thumb while being percussive than anyone in the world. This is fabulous performance and arrangement. It does not use the song to showcase virtuosity. It renders to the song. Every note is understandable and perfect. He was also nice.

Very tasteful rendition of this standard. @ Thom: Your DNA may have had something to do with your dexterity and musicality - but whatever it was, you took it and ran with it!
You could certainly have chosen an easier walk of life, but you're most definietly your own man.
    You're a stellar musician!

    Dr. Thom,
I cannot remain silent any longer. Dragging my lead feet, you moved me to make a nut of myself and shower you with thanks for the very real effort you go to and choosing a keyboards guy with REAL taste also.
Dr. Thom, it cost me my coool... but I couldn't help it. Great! TG

mighty fine, fellas! Is that Mark the same fella who wrote Bonnie Raitt's rendition of "Two Lives". Will be looking at BMI/ASCAP for other tunes.....I'm a songwriter and I appreciate other fine songwriters and Mark T. Jordan IS one, for sure. Mighty fine guitar picking by Thom, must mention. Thanks, guys!

I really liked it. You sounded like how Chet Atkins would played it. It's just so boom-chic rather than thud-wenk like Merle Travis sounded to me. He seemed to brush more strings in the middle to my ear.
