This is literally one of the most heart-warming movies I've ever seen. Its tone is really balanced and you really get a perspective of the main character's development from a young man to a family father. Everything is really well thought and executed just as well. Truly a masterpiece.
I love time travel movies, everybody does but this is a different type of time travel movie. One of the best. I searched for similar movies but didn't find any. If you have to be knowing any such movie, please recommend.
There are so many brilliant details in this scene. It starts off with Rory being told off, but the second time, the other lawyer is actually slightly more impressed by his paragraph. In the convenience store the cashier isn't seen in the first go at the day, but she is in the second, showing Tim's positive interaction with her. He also buys something extra the second time, sending his total from 4.24 to 6.23. This film is so successful at being so incredibly subtle that it really encourages you to go out into the world and find the small things that make life so great. Absolutely fantastic movie.
Finally a shoutout to the most underrated films of the century. My family and I make it an event to watch this once a year altogether. Each time hits different, but is always magical to say the least.
My wife and I watched this when we were dating 8 years ago. The scene at the end with him having breakfast with his kids is LITERALLY my life right now (2 kids). And it makes me so happy. Also when his dad is like "we all get old and tell the same tale too many times". That's so true. Brilliant film.
hang on. as those who wached the movie will know. this is only the next to last formula to happiness. The movie ends with Tim adopting the new system of only living each day once, but looking out for the small things that we miss or take for granted becouse of stress and then stopping and taking the time to appreciate them. I think this last advise from the from Tim (or Richard Curtis) is the only realy usefull advise. one that we can all adopt to get more injoyment out of eachother. Chears!
This is the best film of all time in my opinion. There is literally everything in it. Comedy, drama, time travel, honest connection, love, hate, happiness, sadness, horror. It's the most beautiful film I have ever seen. I love it.
Well Taylor Swift once sing 'the greatest films of all time were never made' well, she's clearly haven't see this movie. About Time is with no doubt, the greatest film of all time that ever made.
I love this movie but can no longer watch it. The part where he goes back for one last visit with his dad hits too hard. I lost my mom a couple of years ago without a proper goodbye, with no last visit.
One of the best movie parts ever. This movie is amazing all the characters and the premise are perfect. Actors are perfect for every role. This is always such a great reminder to get out of our own heads and actually look around at the world for all the small beautiful things that make life so great.
This scene and, more broadly, this movie has changed my outlook on happiness and life more than anything else. Great film with such an amazing, simple message.
This is the movie I realised just how good an actor Bill Nighy is, he plays the villain so well but he’s amazing in this - I’m a grown man but I’d hug him and thank him for playing such an amazing Dad.
- Best Stress buster - Teaches you many things - Makes you think : You live once, You don't have power of do-over, you don't need to have everything perfect, But if you feel every moment of everything *while experiencing* it and *accept* it consciously, you can easily *move on* , then they become the perfect memory for you.
Gosh. I love this movie so much. They're one of my favorite couples ever. EVER! Although Rachel makes a very good couple with lots of guys, I think. I'm sobbing watching this scene.
music is also a great formula for it, i experienced it one day im totally depressed and want to escape from it so i decided to call my friends and talk, so i called one of my friends surprisingly his number activated a callertune which is a beautiful melody song, before the moment im very depressed but after hearing that suddenly changed my mind and make me calm, 💓yes music is magical💓
My favorite part of any movie, where the melodramatic music kicks in and tells the audience, "Hey dum dum's, this is an emotional part... so ya know... now is when you're supposed to feel feelings!"

Love this comment, beautiful.
the price difference is only due to inflation, which is skyrocketing.

Last walk with his dad always brings me to tears. Timeless classic. Roger Ebert would be proud
Beautiful tradition 😊

I went to that restaurant in London and ate dinner in the dark after the movie came out.
Loved the detail that on the first go we don't see the cashier at all, we only hear her voice, but on the second go at the day she's in full frame.
That’s something I noticed on my watch as well!
Yes, because he was not "seeing" her, but the second time around he actually notices her, and finally "sees" her.

The secret formula to happiness - marrying out of your league, but the woman is oblivious.
That dudes a 6.5 and Rachel McAdams is an 8.5.
He's a kind, beautiful person and so is she? They seem well matched to me.
