The Bright sitar should be renamed the 70s Funny cat as it sounds very close to one of the setting of the old late 1970s Roland Funny Cat pedal. As that patch sound no where even close to anything sitarish.
It’s not tough. First create a new folder on your desktop. Then download the zip file and put it in that folder. Then open the zip file and extract to that same folder. Then… turn on the GX100 while pressing WRITE. A GX100 drive will appear on your desktop …. Now go into the new folder and highlight all the new files and drag them into the GX100 drive. Then right click on the GX100 drive and click disconnect or whatever word they use for that…. And the update will start automatically. Let it update until it says completed… then turn off the GX and turn it back on. Done.
IRs are converted on the computer before they are uploaded on to the unit (GX, GTK). At least that is how it looks on the W11 Task Manager. It's the conversion that takes time, not the upload. But yes, the behavior is deeply annoying.

I’m sooooo excited for this. I was hoping for just the X-Amps and got sooooo much more!
Awesome!
Nice demo of the update, thank you Juca!

Yeah!!! I remember! Many thanks 👍👍
Are the amp sounds and effects in the GX100 better than the internal amp sounds and effects in the Boss Katana Gen 3?
Killer sounds🤘
Yeah! :) Thanks
i wonder if the ir loader bug is fixed
The BTS 2.0 release notes say IR data conversion has improved, in quality?

may i ask does the gx100 the guitarsimulator from the gt10?
One thing I noticed it glitched out 3 of my IRs ,, when I choose those IRs there’s literally no sound
Will the firmware update delete or overwrite my custom user patches?
Nope, all stays the same, but a backup doesn't hurt :)
@@JucaNeryGuitar Thank you very much Sir 👍

Hey Juca ! Will the update kill my own patches? İ mean will it overwrite them? Or is it safe? ty
No, no worries 👍

Yeah, it's that.
I just got mine today and wasn't able to get the firmware update to work, am I missing something?
