It hit me while listening to this. I dont think Eramis is actually gone. This is just the intro to her character and the Darkness. I think she'll be back and there will be a big power struggle between her and Mithrax. Like Bungie said this years is about setting up dominos.
I mean from what I think the Pyramids were giving out stasis to anyone who could use it to find a champion, and that when she ‘died’, I believe the Pyramids saw the fight going on for long enough so they killed of Eramis with the freezing despite her having nearly mastered stasis (meaning it was probably the Pyramids that did so, as pretty much only they would have the power)
If you remember the last mission of the campaign, Kridis states that she has a way to bring Eramis back, yes we killed her (kridis) but someone else could bring her back.. there are plenty of other Elixsni still knocking about. so we might still see Eramis again.
@@wonko_the-_-sane she told one of her lieutenants, Aatrax I believe, to go prepare a body in the crypt. I predict the raid boss is an exo version of her.
@@kaiden9854 yeah agreed.. they haven’t mentioned this where I’m at in the video (which if they don’t will be surprising) but, this almost seems like an inevitable plot point. I would honestly put money on that she returns...

idk i dont find stasis too annoying in pvp, at least in Comp its manageable personally!
@@adr3964 yeah tbh i dont get the complaints, double supression nades can stop you using stasis and stop you from jumpipng... but people dont get it

Yeah, hearing something repeated in a short time-frame and you say it instantly afterwards makes sense.
Just like listening to something while typing/writing, and you find yourself writing/typing whatever you're hearing.
Best thing to put on in the background while bounty grinding, wish these came out more often!
Letting stasis stand out is probably part of bungie's plan. Bungie wants the world of destiny to reflect the narrative.
Narratively speaking, the darkness is proving itself to far better than the light(traveller)
therefore I can see us getting a "season of the light" where all the supers get upgraded
If they wanted the world to reflect the narrative then how come the destinations that "disappeared and nobody knows why" are still crucible maps?

We haven't seen everything. Remember the little flying critter we all freaked out about with the Stranger? Haven't seen that, there's got to be more to the story yet.

These podcast's are the ultimate Destiny supplement. I plan to be here for every one of them!
They have needed separate tuning for pvp and pve for a long time. They have started doing it a little bit but I hope this time is a bigger push towards separation in tuning.
Crucible just needs to be it's separate entity.
You guys do realise, we didnt "kill" Eramis right? - She is locked in Stasis ice, so she isnt out of the DLC yet.

Sorry lads, I absolutely enjoy Beyond Light, a lot, im a naturally lover of the cold and snow so Europa is an amazing treat for me to explore. The stasis and the stasis supers are great( Behemoth isnt as good as the others, sure, but still) just enjoy it a lot and after playing since beta of D1, we finally have used the Darkness and now we get to play VoG again soon as well, I think?

Lol praising Bungo for something they should have included years ago and making you pay for Vault of Glass all over again. I quit D2 and Destiny as a whole in October 2017, thank God I did

I LOVED THE STORY, and everything else
On the topic of sunsetting, I think someone on reddit said it best. Sunsetting is necessary. The game can not grow forever therefore things need to be removed. The way they've done so was done badly. Sunset what can no longer be obtained. If the season has passed or it's been vaulted, then put the year timer on it. If its in game it should be useable. If it's not in the game, sunset it.

Yeah I'm loving it. Obviously there are a few issues but overall I have enjoyed it and I did play alot the first 72 hours. Some of the hate is undeserved.

Because I just came back, I’ve been playing a shit ton with friends and we’ve just been hanging out, goofing around, and such. There are issues, but I don’t think it’s needing so much hate from content creators, but again, I do understand where some of it is coming from.

I'm enjoying crucible immensely. They need to fix some of the abilities but it's far from ruined. Actually nice to have fresh abilities and tactics in play.

On the subject of the dmca stuff, with a lot of games using licensed music in game as part of the experience, that is going to cause a lot of issues if people don't know a game has this kind of music and it starts playing. I'm also of the opinion that copyright law is just simply outdated and really needs a more modern rewriting. Someone being able to be sued over a video of a baby because of background audio is the peak of corporate greed.
Stasis in PvP gets way less frustrating when you play through and get used to it. When I first got freeze killed I nearly flipped the desk. Now it’s just eh no take the death and go do it to someone myself.

I dont think the mods are seasonal because I believe I saw gunsmith selling a mod dealing with charged with light, I already had it tho. This was yesterday btw.

This pod could literally only be with these two lads and I'd still catch every ep.
I was talking to a few friends and we were thinking one of the best ways to balance stasis in pvp would be to make it so you don't take damage for breaking free of being frozen, because if you're frozen and they can't clean up the kill then you definitely have to right to be able to get away instead of taken down to 1 hp and literally anything can kill you no matter what you do along with the fact you were stuck for 2seconds, and then make it so you can't freeze supers, like how can a titan that is on fire be frozen? How can a warlock covered in ice be frozen he already is. That's just my opinion on where to start balancing it.
The seventh seraph machine gun is dropping in game now, I got 2 yesterday. In case anyone watching this later on is wondering :)
Love the colab chats.. Gotta get this out.. I'm so sick of people/community just complaining about this and that...yet...continue to play/overplay lol. Love what we have and enjoy the game as much or as little as you desire. Stop acting entitled because you can use media to cry about everything not just destiny.
Its been really good. But having to repeat the stasis quest on all characters is highly annoying.
but you dont have to do all the steps most of it is account based, fragments are too. its easier than the forsaken subclass grind on alts

I get what u guys talked about the grind but I did love the grind in the taken king were it took awhile to get like the ghost but when u did it was so hype and when u saw a player max light u knew they were a good player

Two years beyond light came out that’s crazy
In terms of Machine Guns. You can also get: Xenophage and Thunderlord, which can now be "easily" obtained. In terms of the legendary sandbox though... the WORST corner of the sandbox is Trace Rifles... none are legendary.
Xenophage isn’t in the easy loot pool so it’s unattainable

I don't agree that all my gear needed to be thrown away due to a few outliers.
It’s not 1/8, it’s 1/total weapon and armor items, which means your always more likely to get a weapons as there then a specific armor piece.
I've been loving beyond light but I have been grinding it like crazy. And the world's first race was much better I've seen way more 24 hour emblems than I ever have. But my favorite thing about beyond light is Sunsetting and the more targeted grinds (legend lost sectors, Adored, Felwinters, and the final chest in DSC) these grinds feel so much better and way more rewarding. I will admit, the sunsetting was harsh but I have been absolutely loving it. Last night I did my first DSC run and I used chattering bone and prophet of Doom, in a raid, IN 2020!? Not recluse/MT let that sink in. The game has felt so fresh and I am very excited for VoG to come back since I never played D1 and my hope is it will let off fatigue we might have from DSC mid way through the year.
I’ve been taking Beyond Light at my own pace. This expansion has been one of my favorites. I love how full the story has become. It’s been very inspiring.
Edit: I thought the Clovis-AI would make a good raid boss for the Deep Stone Crypt.

this week? it will be happening all year dude. like they said fornt loaded content is over its an mmo, it will be weekly like forsaken. remember forsaken went on for like 42 weeks because of the 3 week curse cycle
im a filthy casual and it hasnt really ruined my experience at all but "fixing" crucible for the moment while they balance stuff would be easy. they can make it so zavahla tells shaxx that darkness shouldnt be used against each other in crucible(story reason) while the drifter(or someone else) would offer a "unsanctioned" crucible list you could use stasis in.
I wonder about the connection if anyy between the travellers chosen and hawk moon?
on xb it was around 100GB and now it's 65GB
From the gameplay side and lore wise I'm glad stasis is such a big issue with the community because that's how it's supposed to be... Something different, scary, and dirty 😉

The biggest problem with mods sets is that imo they take too much time and resources when we end up ditching the armor anyways due to sunsetting

The lore for Eramis was so good and she seemed so compelling when talking about her in the prison of elders, yet the campaign was so short and she really wasn't that impressive to confront.
I just spent 2 hours writing a comment about how i agree and disagree with a lot of the things that were said in this episode and than my phone died...

I quit D2 just before Shadowkeep came out and now decided to jump back in, finished the Shadowkeep campaign and did the third mission in Beyond Light I think it was and I am enjoying it so far.. question tho.. can I get those warmind mods and seventh seraph guns anymore or am just too late?

The lost sectors have been really nice for me lately but a little more in the economy would be nice.
I cant solo a grandmaster, I'm an average guardian not a gaming monster.
Feel sorry for the bungie team after listening to these Monday morning quarterbacks. I love the story and the release so far. I usually enjoy both of your content just stating my opinion.
Guys I feel like it's important to point out the Ghost's defiance after you get full stasis after the main campaign. "I'm getting really tired hacking security systems". My point. Can Ghosts turn from the light as well? Is that what we see with the stranger? Will or dive into the darkness become a weapon for our ghost? What can we see coming up. Very interesting.
Personally I want a ridiculous amount of turrets. My "Ghost" included. He sounds like hes gonna stick around. So did the Callum's Ghost. When he destroy it. With the thorn. What will we see from a poison subclass? To put it simple.
36:20 it still is, I've been getting duplicates of my highest gear, essentially wasted drops. Sure it's better when compared to Forsaken, but it's still not amazing.
and its still changing into an mmo... it shouldnt be too forgiving thats just boring

@@dochedgehog revisiting this a week after, all of my gear currently is between 1254-1255 except my chest and class item which are at 1250-1251. I got 3 heavies and 2 arms in a row, I'm out of pinnacles for the week. Bungo needs to get their shit together because this is not "too forgiving" this is "fucking me in the ass with a rusty pipe".
I really like the podcast I would like to see time stamps though.

They don’t have activision supporting them so they have less manpower and resources

I use warmind cell mods for my Seraph Shotgun with Trench barrel.... I never realized players don’t use warmind cell mods 🥴
Bungie knows that they cant give the same amount of content as Forsaken and want people to spread out their playtime a bit more in order to not burn out on the game when there is not much to do.
I did put in a almost a hundred hours since Beyond Light into the game and i notice it hard that there isnt much to do but i'm ok with that

Loving the podcast, guys. But, Unknown, you definitely need face lighting. Background looks great, but you're basically a silhouette.
BRUH you said that there was a lot of ways to level then basically said if you want to level you gotta play comp!!! That seems very singular. Please point out a way for people that don't like PvP a way to level quickly to 1230 / 1250.
If you have BL complete the campaign and some post-game missions and comp should be easy. It is most likely the best way to level from soft to hard cap. Anything lets you get to softcap (probably what he was talking about) and pinnacle cap is, was and always will be very hard to get to.
Hard cap is gotten though mostly the same methods as before in general
Tbh i feel like seasons are more like renting story missions from the game, im just gonna do what i tell other people and vote with my money and not pay into the passes.

The good: the campaign boss fights were fun with no hud
The bad: defeated enemies don't disappear and will cause crashes.
The ugly: the new lighting system
The new lighting system is very hit or miss on specific things. It looks amazing on some places like the Scarlett Keep and EDZ looks better too but for some reason on HDR, Nessus looks really bad. The weapons and armor look better too imo
Glad they didn't push like warframe tho, I like having functioning eyes

I’m using my super a lot more in pve aswell and the campaign was cool and lots of theories but it was so short and I kinda dislike the staggered release and yea it’s quite desolate and literally absolutely 0 things essentially on the cosmodrome besides a random ass strike and a couple lost sectors oh and sunsetting is so shit, do it like it’s done in d1!
