I've been a center with 96 o board since day 1, I've faced hundreds of centers and have learned that I'm pretty much unstoppable with my legendary rebound chaser (max +1) unless I'm up against a fat center, that body type absolutely boxes me into oblivion lol
It was the same in the first week until I hit pro reputation, silver rebound chaser starts to show its weakness against good centers with hof or legend rebound chaser If you play SF/PF position then silver rebound chaser is good, otherwise you'll get eaten up in high rep games
Yea thats why I made my center. No one can rebound, you guys come outside with 92-94 rebound rating like you are about to do something. My center has 96 o boards and 95 d boards. NO ONE out boards me and I have legend rebound chaser. Will make it 99/97 with cap breaker, yes I out board 99 o boards centers too. Don’t let me catch any of yous outside. 🫠
Question! If i have rebound chaser on HOF with a higher defensive rebound than offensive rebound, does the badge give you a boost with offensive rebounds regardless of your stats?
While i feel like rebound chaser is important i feel like Box out beast is more important. Rebound chaser helps but you need box out beast to be in position. Im 6"8 pf and grabbed 18 over a 7'2 with HOf rebound chaser just by positioning and gold box out
I always put box out beast on a mid level (last year was silver, this year I'll do gold) because then they can't swim around me at will but then I save a whole bunch of attributes. I've had HOF boxout beast and the animations typically take way too long against other centers to gain an extra rebound you otherwise wouldn't have gotten. In 24 it maybe got me 1 to 2 rebounds extra per game, this year probably 3-4 but for the attribute cost I might as well pump more into other aspects of the build.
Box out beast is the most important badge this year for bigs since it got combined with worm this 2k. Hue you gonna rebound if you can’t box out and get in position? Also having a high vertical is good as well
6'8 sf with 85 d board and I run glass gunner take. It goes up to 93 and i SNAG on centers all the time. As a sf usually i dont get boxed out and can generate speed and just soar in for the board. I have dropped 18 16 10 in rec. Bof arial wizard lets me dominate the the offensive glass too. Pro contact dunks on putbacks is too fun.
Quick question @nba2ktutes If i max out my defensive board at 96 for HOF box out beast and rebound chaser, but leave my offensive rebound at the minimum of 71, will I still be able to get those good offensive board animations? Or will I need to bump up my offensive rebound ratings?
Is there a difference between having offense or defensive rebounds at different ratings i.e 92 o board and 70 d board or will just having one at the threshold will trigger the animations for both attributes of rebounding?? Or do both need to be at the same rating to trigger the animations on both sides of the court??
@@kgsteven96 Offensive rebound is cheaper but 2k made it where the defensive rebound always has higher rating potential. If you get the same animations regardless of which rating is higher I would just go higher O Board and use the spared points elsewhere.
If you got hof rebound chaser or higher with hof box out beat. It doesn't matter what your defensive board is😂. Unless you play against another 99 oboard

Because my offensive rebounds are almost none existent I have it at 60 😢 I thought it would be enough to be decent cause that’s the threshold for bronze rebound chaser. Idk what it is but im FLYING up to get rebounds 7 footers are the only thing that can compete but if i have position the ball is mine. If they have silver rebound and like 80 dboard i have a chance at ripping the ball from behind or tipping it out to guards, Im going to cap break to 96 then +1 badge to get legend reb chaser and 1 point in str . Im hoping this is enough to just violate silver rebounders and compete with gold 7 footers 7"5 wingspan

Tutes, I'd like for you to test pick dodger at all levels. I currently have it at silver on my 6'2 with low strength and the screens are driving me crazy. Although I feel like only I have this issue so maybe it's the higher tiers that are worth it. I'd really like to know
Nahhh you’re cooked against most centers with 80+ Defensive Boards Your best bet is to play inside position in the paint to get better positions and hope you don’t get thrown out the way
usually always better to put more off rb than def rb most the time you’ll get the d board anyways with and 80-85 d board as long as you box out and position and what not but the off reb is clutch for second chance points or even missing your layup and getting it back
@@SEANTHEMOST a guard with 35 Offensive rebounds can get boards. But run into a glass cleaner with 80-85 Defensive you’re cooked. Unless they don’t know how to time boards and jump late

Can you please test body types and if it effects speed and agility in this 2k, It looks like it does when using burly compared to average or swol it looked like my player moved slower. However it just might be a visual placebo.

Since day one I been using my 7’0 I’ve had legend rebound chase for a while now In the rec I’m averaging 27ppg & 26 rebounds never in any 2k have I put up those numbers consistently in games hopefully shooting doesn’t get fixed so I can continue collecting 🧱
This is perfect timing, I was making a big man build and I was paranoid about only having 85 rebound but this eases my worries knowing it’s linear and that there’s no sweet spot

I noticed if I have gold and only bronze rebounders are nearby my guy jumps real high and animates to ball. If a red or purple rebounder is nearby I jump like a penguin and it feels like my arms are inflatables . They added this mechanic a few years back

Sometimes I get boxed out into oblivion even by smaller builds/guards and my player does this half-assed jump for the board especially in certain circumstances even when I position myself well, someone will just come out of nowhere and snatch the ball over my head I’m 7’0, how does that happen? Please relate these findings to actual builds, It's impossible to have a 40 rebound with legend Rebound chaser, Just focus on what builds can and can't do otherwise you're wasting your time. We are only here to find the best stats for our build, Not imaginary ones

i have a 7ft popper with those exact stats with legend rebound chaser and i'll have the pf and C both boxed out for an O board but i'll get the worst rebound animations allowing them to still get the board. the takeover you choose does help tho

Noticed when I went from golf to HOF my rebounds went down

man,,,for big builds, sacrifice whatever you want but not rebounding. I always go max rebounding as much as possible

@@kuruptzZz not legendary badge important… legendary badge means you most likely have no shooting & can’t space the floor or defend the perimeter

Please relate these findings to actual builds, It's impossible to have a 40 rebound with legend Rebound chaser, Just focus on what builds can and can't do otherwise you're wasting your time. We are only here to find the best stats for our build, Not imaginary ones

So just to be sure I’m understanding this correctly, if I have a 63 offensive rebound and silver rebound chaser that 63 will turn into a 79? Also, will putting silver rebound chaser in max +1 help out making a 60 offensive rebound to a 79? I’m asking cause that’s lowest offensive rebound you can put it with a 85 defensive rebound.

If u got 63 and silver rebound chaser u will get the animation a 79 will get. It wont physically say 79 but u will get the animation.

Rebound chaser doesn’t work for smaller players this year.
My wemby build only get bullied by fat centers (which is fair) but anybody else my HOF Rebound chaser (with + 1 Badge) makes me a Horse . 💪🏾
What about 96 DEF rebound / 71 Offensive rebound combo? Can i still snag offensive rebounds with a 71 of Legend rebound chaser?
i have a 7ft popper with those exact stats with legend rebound chaser and i'll have the pf and C both boxed out for an O board but i'll get the worst rebound animations allowing them to still get the board. the takeover you choose does help tho
@@Yo_Moneyy damn bro. Crazy cause I’m snagging averaging 25 rebounds in solo rec in 5 game span with 60 Offensive and 92 defensive. Gd rebound chaser lol. But I see what you mean about the bad animations, I don’t get the really good ones that I see my player do on defense
