Super helpful and God sent I’m not doing a Daniel fast but I was led to completely change my diet and I was like Lord I don’t know what to make, but thank God for this!
You’re allowed to have fruits, veggies, whole grains, nuts, seeds, beans, legumes, and water. You are allowed to cook food as well. But go with your own convictions and be led by the Holy Spirit. This is less about a law/ set of rules and more about your spiritual growth and time with God

Quick tip for the smoothie! You can cut and freeze the fruit and wont need ice!
Thank you
I’d love to see more of these types of videos!
The okra dish reminds me of Nigerian okra soup, it would just be eaten with eba(slightly comparable to grits) instead of grits..nice!
Great video! Thanks for the comment on the okra.
All looks so good:)
I'm starting today
Are rice cakes Daniel fast approved? I thought you could not have any processed foods
Stay away from added sugars. Fresh Fruits and Fresh Vegetables is a good guide to follow.
Was thinking the same thing
@@tamarathomas4217also the Penut butter. She completely broke the fast lol
And the peanut butter too. No processed food at all.
Smoothie looks delicious!
Thank you for this video, I'm trying all of them. 😊
Can u eat while the fasting
Yes. Every fast is different. Unless you are doing a water fast or completely dry fast you can eat
So you can use peanut butter
Unsweetened so organic
i dont know but isn't peanut butter has dairy in it?
It’s fine as long as it only has peanuts and oil. So no Jiff or Skippy.
@@kdavis5088depends on the type of oil
Fyi Grits are refined and on the do not eat list
Old fashioned grits are a whole grain
Can you make without okra?
Yes you can! You can sauté whatever veggies you want
@@karolyneroberts thank you 😊
I thought that the 'Daniel Fast' was basic raw fruits and vegetables, maybe some cooked vegetables at most...🤔
Yes. You're right. ❤

But I thought rice was a no no?
