One word of advice. If you are doing this at home, you might want to put both sides of the car on jack stands otherwise the sway bar will make installing the replacements difficult since the weight of the vehicle is all on the other tire making the sway bar bend up on the side with the tire off. I learned this the hard way.

Hey man! Do you recommend taking the other tire off too?? I can’t seem to get the top off since the plastic shield is just to close to pull it out

Thanks for the helpful video. FYI, on my 08 Saturn Aura, the OEM bolt shaft requires a 6mm hex key to keep the bolt from spinning when removing the nuts, which were 19mm, not 18mm.
The Moog replacement part did require the 2 18mm wrenches as you had shown.

This is great, thank you for your great videos. These videos helped me tremendously working on my girlfriends car. Suspension is still a fairly gray area for me, so this definitely made me feel more comfortable. You have earned a new customer! Pontiac G6 2006

Thanks 1aauto! I used a ratcheting 18mm combo wrench and a standard 8mm combo wrench on the stabilizer link. Worked slick.

I missed you taking off the brake hose bracket. Is that required for this repair? My shop says the bushings are worn out, so I'm going to have to get new ones.

I don't think these are stock sway bar end links because they have grease-able fittings, and the stock ones aren't nearly as thick, and they don't have an 18mm nut on the back.

+JoeyLovesTrains Our parts are aftermarket parts but they are built to the same OE specifications as the original.

Horace Curtis Vice grip the tip, when the bolt reaches the pliers, move the pliers behind the bolt, finish unscrewing.
