I bought a clean copy of the S2A a while back. I needed to replace the foam underneath both the mirror AND the ground glass. The shutter on mine works flawlessly. I got no issues with exposures, the mirror, the shutter. The only issue I discovered is an additional film back I bought not advancing correctly. The Nikon glass is sharp. A heavy, sturdy tripod is an absolute MUST with longer exposures on this beast.
Your videos are very cool man 😊 and inspiring btw the last shot of the trees personally I thought was the best exposure loved your photo at the start of the video wow it’s amazing. One last thing telling us what f stop your shooting at is always cool and helpful … Keep on shooting on Peace ✌️ Tommy.
I just bought one for $250 with 2 lenses 50/75 - I am going to use it for TTV photography (Through The Viewfinder) since it will be using the mirror and the actual lens for focusing and exposures - I may also use it for ttv square format video - I think it is going to be a unique experience - maybe I will make a video!
@ I’ve been told before they’re probably the only ones that work on bronicas but never heard it from someone that actually had a camera worked on. Thanks man!
It was technically $350, but only because I had it serviced and repaired prior for that price, and when the shutter began to slow, it was still under warranty so that particular repair was covered by the warranty.
This was great man. That shot at 6:29 is seriously good. I've never shot film at night but you sure make me want to try!
Thank you so much! You absolutely should. I feel like I've learned a lot about photography in general through night walks.
Love your night photography videos. Huge inspiration for such a noob as me. Keep them coming!
Thank you so much! They will absolutely keep on coming!
I am less concerned with the camera and rather more with what the photographer does with it. Really beautiful photography there. Well done.
Thank you so much!!

Peace ✌️ Tommy.
We’re all in trouble now, with this new tripod setup, no night scene is safe. Really digging the HP5 shots. I need to shoot more black and white.
Attacking the nightlife from all kinds of angles with this newfound functionality, haha!
Very cool photos n colours

How much did it cost to have your shutter serviced? In a similar pickle with my S2A.

@ sweet, thanks!

I got the K&F Concept 72" Aluminum Tripod. Folds up great and is really light but sturdy.
