It definitely brings something new. Back about, jeez, eighteen years ago now my first job was developing 35mm film. A normal kinda one hour photo situation but at a time when DSLR cameras hadn't quite caught on and serious photographers still shot on SLR. It was a strange because I knew at 17-18 years old I was witnessing the twilight of an era of technology. In the nineties I loved shooting on my folks' Pentax SLR, all silver and black with the lenses being heavy glass with satisfying textured focus and aperture rings. A distant echo from the future was auto focus or digital photography. I love the preservation of this sort of thing that I am old enough to have intimate memories with, but young enough to appreciate new technology grow from its nascent form. Keep it up. I'm also very sorry for ruining that lady's photos on my first week back in 2006. I still feel bad about that.
