He had an amazing soul that touched the hearts of so many people from all walks of life. I love watching his shows. He added humor and jokes that kept the viewing audience attentive.
Love this man I met him in 1988 while working as a car hop and was going to culinary school at the time. Justin was so nice to speak words of encouragement and wisdom. Thank you Mr Wilson and I hope to one day cook with you in heaven.
He was so amazing. I could hear people in the background laughing. He had the cameramen, directors, and producers in stitches. If he could do that, we all know he was unique and genuinely down-to-Earth type of man.
Born and raised in south bend, He said that girls school, lol I had to play it back 3 times cuz he is so enthralling.. Man He is Truly a national Treasure. I learned how to cook thanks to his great skills ...! Miss him terribly
My Grandma and Grandad had everyone of his album's. This guy is funnier than any comedian today , an is a decent person with good clean jokes and REAL good cooking.

Justin Wilson...A REAL NATIONAL TREASURE!!! Great Humorist...Great Story Teller...Great Cajun Cook...Great Man & A Great American!!! My dad loved his cooking show & I used to watch Justin Wilson on our local PBS station here in Mobile Alabama with my dad. My dad tried to fix many of his recipe dishes...some were good...SOME NOT SO GOOD!!! I sure do miss my dad & Justin Wilson...GREAT MEMORIES!!! Much love from Mobile Alabama.
I found this browsing around. I used to watch his show. So much more fun than most of the cooking shows on tv today. He, Julia Child, and Graham Kerr were relaxed in the kitchen and gave me a feeling like I was sitting across from them in the kitchen and they were explaining things to me personally.
I miss this show. He was a good cook, and made things entertaining., with great stories and humor. More shows and so called "chefs," can learn by watching him.
Travis Trantham I agree, I watched him everyday and learned, laughed, and enjoyed him so much! I'm glad I found him, keep them coming plz,and I'll watch every one! Thanks again 😁💕💕🍝🍷
Corny, silly non-sense banter between cooking instructions... and I absolutely love every moment of it!!! There will never be another Justin Wilson. Thanks for uploading this!
Called story telling. He was a comedian before this... A story teller. What a real comedian does and rare treasures. Same as Richard Pryor was but cleaner of course and not as funny but that was his era...
He was such a kind soul! We looked forward to watching his show on PBS every week as kids, six channels on an outside antenna. would sit there wishing we could sit at the table and eat with him.. Great TV not like the crap on cable today that costs $150.00 a month for 200 channels that you only watch 20 channels if your lucky.
I can still remember when I was younger watching Justin's cooking show on TV. this vid takes be back to the good old days when I was a kid. I'm 46 now. time flies.
I love me some Justin Wilson. When I was a kid this was one of the only shows on during the day other than soap operas. I watched and learned. He was the best!
Ol' Justin was a favorite of mine along with Jaques Pepin and Great Chefs of the West on PBS back in the day. I used to watch it with my Grandparents and I loved my grandfather's reactions to Justin. They were similar in humor though my Papa was from West Texas. I learned a lot of my cooking from him and the other shows and still use many of the techniques and even recipes to this day more than 30 years later.
Wow I wondered upon this and to watch.I used to LOVE watching him on PBS and him taki g his drink of wine afterwards. It gave a relax honey feeling.when I would visit relatives we all stopped in the kitchen where they still had a fireplace with pot belly stove insert.the aroma, conversation I ould think about Mr.Wilson.athoufht to myself when I get grown I was going to have that kind of kitchen, and hope that environment, love, love, love an Thanks Mr. Wilson/youtube nothing like it today,LETS GET BACK TO BASICS,love ya🌹🌹

My favorite chef of all time. I would run to watch PBS when Justin Wilson would come on. I am Justin Wilson when I cook! Loved when he told the Boudreaux stories.
I'd rather watch a cooking show like Justin's where he is using basic ingredients receipes with mouth watering results. These new cooking shows all about competition with bizarre ingredients has run it's course...let's get back to traditiinal down home cooking shows.
I've been thinking about this man off and on for about a year or two..couldn't remember his name for anything. All I remember is that "guarontee" lol....My mom and I used to watch him and loved to hear talk and say "I guarontee"...❤💙...I miss this ole fella!

Only as I age do I realize how these kinds of shows on PBS were literal treasures.
He was so amazing. I could hear people in the background laughing. He had the cameramen, directors, and producers in stitches. If he could do that, we all know he was unique and genuinely down-to-Earth type of man.

Man... I haven't paid for cable or satellite nonsense in 17 years. I don't know how people can stand paying for that.
I loved when he said that you should add only one or two shakes of hot sauce...and then proceeded to put 9-10. He was the best.
Truly an American treasure. Met him in 1991 when he came to my town for a cooking demonstration. Very memorable.
