Hi Tyler, your videos are very helpful, just sub'd. I'm looking at doing a 2021 Murano, but I've heard aftermarket keys can be problematic with later model Nissans. Have you come across that issue? Would OEM keys also be risky? Also, I assume a 2021 Murano requires a bypass cable as well?
@cowtownraider I've only come across it maybe one or two times and It was mainly the keys fault not the car. I use autel keys on basically all of the nissans I work on and rarely have problems. I'm not positive if you need a bypass cable or not but you might not need one. For example, you need a bypass for the nissan sentra b18 chassis which is 2021 but for new body style altimas you do not so there is a chance you may not need one. Best of luck with the programming! You got this!!
I bought an entire 50 pack of those Honda aftermarket keys from that bad batch where the lock/unlock button opened the trunk. It was a nightmare trying to exchange them
@karmaRGD the one I used in this video I got on ebay. I also have a lonsdor one and it works well also. Do manual selection on these cars and input the vin number. Do not do auto scan. Good luck and happy programming!!
@brandon6986 i got them on k12 print.com They were super easy to work with on the design and I got 600 of them for $160 shipped. Not sure if it's they are the cheapest out there but im definitely happy with them
@savon-garage sweet I'll look into them because I see alot of sketch sites offering like the same ones. So atleast I know people are working with that one.
thanks for the video, I got an aftermarket ADC 1700 cable but im508s or km100 doesn't recognize the connection for Nissan Pathfinder 2022, am I missing something, would it be the cable, the battery is weak, or any procedure?
Hi. On the new body style, do not use auto scan. Go through and manually select the vehicle. Input the vin number when it tell you and you will be good to go
Do you know if the 508s will be able to successfully add a key to this vehicle if I can buy the pin from Nissan? Does it even ask for a pin when attempting to program a key? Thanks!
@JustSoYouKnowDom yes it will ask you. You can pay for the pin code when it pulls the immobilizer data and you can get the code from that. Idk if nissan will sell you that code but there are a few guys out there that can get it for you.
Thank you very much for the info. Could you please clarify if autel goes through the password reading during the programming procedure or no as Smart Pro doesnt? Thank you.
@tomg.1583 it skips the password reading. You can get the pin code from an outside source but from what I know of, there's no way to pull the pin from these cars that's why they make this bypass cable.
@@savon-garage Thank you very much. I succeeded in programming the key with the bypass cable but something strange happened. Key worked fine for locking and unlocking the doors and also worked in the pocket by just grabbing the door handle to open locked car. One issue was that the car didn't want to start before your touch the start button with the key. All else worked fine. I used old style key with right fccid. Have you ever had something like that??

Great video!!! What cable you use?

@@savon-garage you connect cable only in BCM ? Or connect in obd2 port too?
@@karmaRGD obd also
Where did you get the key tags? Im very interested.

@brandon6986 it looks so much more professional with tags so I'd definitely get them!

@ ok I have nastf so I was thinking maybe it was possible but their site isn’t clear.

@@tomg.1583 it does not. This is to bypass the pin code. Autel is not able to pull the pin code on this so you use the cable to bypass the need for it
Both will skip it...

Does need bypass cable ?
@BahramAryan yes. I show you in the video exactly where to put the cable and the cable itself.
I tried do the same car, but autel508s don't understand car system ((( write thar system not recognised, please turn on ignition
@@karmaRGDdon't do auto scan on these. Manually input year make and model, and it will ask for the vin during the programming process
@@savon-garagethanks man
I was connected but can’t get the pin
I add keys but I reach to teach phase it fails!
@hubaz78 make sure you're using the correct key
So you need all this shit just to program a key? Guess I’ll pay the $400
@Habaneroranger yep lol it's more than 400 for the equipment and key.
That’s the point
