I’m saving for up for one now. Have you compared the Gen 2 to the Gen 3? The size difference is significant, but the 34mm tube I bet gives it a great fov.
@@quickhit4193 I have not yet looked through a 3rd Gen. I have a strike eagle 1-6 1st gen. and after shooting a friends razor 1-6 I was amazed at the difference.
It depends on your application but a 1-10 sacrifices a lot more than it's worth imo. The eye box and eye relief are terrible at 8-10x. The 1x isn't as good as a 1-6 or 1-4 in most cases. The FFP is probably one of the best upsides to the Gen 3. SSP scopes are fine for 1-6 lpvos in most applications. I've been literally trying to come to the same question as well. A Gen 2 or Gen 3 Razor and I personally am going with the 1-6 Gen 2 for all the reasons mentioned above. Not even including you can pick up a Gen 2 for half the price or less of a Gen 3.
Strike eagle= looking through the optic
Razor = your are the optic.
