That grip and brace setup is really the best you can legally get without registering it
Can you expound on this at all? I am just learning about the sbr issues after ordering one of these, and if I can get a folding brace like the one in the video and that avoids SBR ATF regulation that's coming (or maybe already present) that would be fantastic. Would really appreciate any insight and response here from what you know about this, or the author of this video as well @QuickHit

Why not just put a real stock on it and just don’t talk about it. The atf doesn’t have hidden cameras in your house. But hey if you want to be a beta cuck and pay the ATF $200 for permission then be my guest.

Yeah I was about to direct thread my surpressor on my AP5, but the threads were out of spec, so inspect them if you ever want to use them!
How do you tell if they are or of spec?
@@richardw2801 In my case the lead thread wasn’t dressed (deburred). The major and minor were actually perfect. They sell “go-no go” gages for checking that, but I should’ve caught the lead thread issue with my eye before trying to use them! Unfortunately I didn’t catch it in time

100% parts compatibility. But be sure you get your parts for the K model. The regular MP5/ AP5 is a lot different

What ammo are you guys running? I’ve tried 147 subs and it just won’t run them well. It seems to like snappier ammo to run well. Or is it the extractor? I’ve bought a new spring to install. Mines the AP5-P SBR.
Do you have a video up on it....been searching AP5-Ps videos....I got some 124gr to run 1st to break it in....can't wait to fire it 👍🏼
I had to re-profile my extractor to get it to run properly. I would replace it if your having issues. Mine wouldn’t cycle anything reliably until I sent it back and they reprofiled the extractor.
@@quickhit4193 oh wow that's crazy....I finally got to run mine the other day....I ran 150rds of 124 Nato and 100rds of 115gr blazer brass only had 1 failure to feed but I blame that on the 40rd aftermarket magazine....so far so good will post a vid soon....appreciate the feedback 👍🏼
