I never carry passport with me during sightseeing. Keep your passport, money and other costly items safely in some specific location of your luggage and it will be totally safe in your rooms. The cleaning guys don't even touch your smallest items when they enter in your absence. They just make the bed, change toiletries and do basic cleaning. That's it.☺️👍
Currency carried in cash (Thai Baht- THB), no forex card or debit/credit card used, because in Thailand many places are there, where they accept cash only (like India)😊 And before travel, in India only THB currency converter from INR. For converting the currency I used online portal "book my forex . Com" but you can check with any reputed agent in your area who can give you better exchange rate. During our travel, for two people I totally carried 20000 THB, for which I paid 51300 in INR (all inclusive of tax, exchange rate, brokerage and other charges) [Now after returning back 3500 THB is still remaining with me, which I will reverse into INR from same portal ]😝☺️🕺 So hope now the currency exchange part is clear to you.
