It’s just irony tho show how some people always going to find others to blame for every thing going wrong. As a side note, the gay community love this song just for all the right reasons f
If you get caught up and don't see the irony in what actually written in the bible and can't understand the humor in genuine satire then it's sad and you yourself criticize the satirical element and take it seriously which is sad . You can criticize most of what is written in the bible such as persecution degradation of woman , hatred of different groups of people , prohibitions etc , and everything is man's invention from the beginning , so take satire for what it is and try to understand the humor and don't take it so seriously.
You "analyze" ordinary satire to no avail. When humor and satire are seen as offensive and inappropriate, we are in trouble. There should be more satire like this that pokes fun at topics considered sensitive.
I have never meet an atheist who is as judgmental and hypocritical as religious people. It's in religion's very nature to judge and look down on people, especially if they're not beliving in the same fairy tale.
This is so unexpected, finding people that doesn't get the sarcasm. Might be a loss in the translation. I've noticed the people from the UK get the joke while people from the US doesn't. Might be because of the religious differences? Sweden isn't a religious country. This is satire about religion and crazy fundamentalists that loves to blame people that are different for everything while them themselves are behaving like @-holes. They're really saying that gay people are NOT to blame for anything while religion IS to blame for A LOT. I would really like to ask you to watch it again and think about them using religious people for saying the worst things, and that he himself is a pastor that knows that the bible says this (but "he doesn't know in which chapter or which part, but sometimes in this book is say it's all because of the homosexuals"). I really think it's pretty obvious.
It does not matter in what God you believe or how you believe in your God. You are still just believing an imaginary friend or judge. Every religious person thinks they are the good one as they are the only one getting it right. On top of that, every preacher just happens to have the same opinion about everything as the God they are preaching for. In the worst case scenario, they think their God is so helpless they have to kill anyone who offend their God, as it can't revenge it selves.
SIMPLY STATED: If the oxygen masks fall down(?), put it on yourself first so you can help others. If you point the finger(?), remember that you are pointing at yourself! GROTESCO does not 'criticize' religion. Actually, not even religion per se. They make visible (to whoever wants to see) all of our duplicity, our reluctance to see ourselves. Our need to create opposition.

It’s ok to laugh at satire!
Tobacco industry is certainly responsible for many evils, but I am not sure you can quite blame cigarettes for everything like that!
