I'm a Soaper, and make Cold Process soap. I started out using Melt and Pour, until I realised that all botanicals will rot. I had that experience with Lavender. It turns brown, rots and smells. I think it's only Calendula that doesn't rot in Melt and Pour.
@@kendallope I'm not 100% sure how they'll cope inside melt and pour soap as dried. They may go rancid. I just know that you can't add everything into melt and pour as you would to cold and hot process soaps.
I haven’t even watch the video yet but the moment I saw these beautiful soaps I thought I have got to come in here and tell you how beautiful these are I think people take it over the top with their swirling and their special additions that are chemical-based and not even good for you because they’re looking at the bottom line which is about money and I think to a degree there’s some creativity there but things are so much better when they’re simple and they’re aligned with nature and I just love that you’re doing it ❣️ It’s really usable artwork and that’s so important I think people are going way overboard with some of the stuff they’re doing and it’s a turn off for me for someone who wants to live according to nature so when I see artisans out here keeping it simple but making it beautiful all the same I like to give them props
Happy to learn this gorgeous goatmilk soap making Also I’d like to ask about adding 1~2% of glycolic acid and glycerin to this goatmilk M&P soap making
Thank you for your instructive video. The thing I would have liked to see was how you melted the soap and in what type of pot or pan or if you double boiled it. Otherwise, it was wonderful and your soaps are lovely.
Can you please give me all the measurements you said you have to blocks are there a pound or I would like to know cuz I would like to make it so I need the recipe as it is all the measurements
Hello, I’m making my first batch soon. I saw your caption saying that the soap should be used within 39 days. Can you tell me the particular reason why ?
Hello! So I must say I love this and I would love to do this one day but I have one question please tell me what those white blocks are and how do you get it to shape that way bc that would make it easier to cut?? Thank you ❤️

What process/ how do you make it in a way that said botanicals won’t rot?
Wow thank you, i had no idea---will they rot even if they're fully dried? Or is it because the melt and pour base adds moisture?
so you can use botanicals perfected fine in cold press soap then?

@@TheMegamcmickey Yes, as infusions in the oil part of your recipe. Or, as dried decoration. 😊

You can use a glass measuring cup in the microwave or as your double boiler in a pot of water
@@APCAD_Soap85 Yes, thank you! I used a glass measuring cup in a pot of water.
Thank u Queen!! Beautiful work
I love your videos 💕💕💕💕
Thank you 😊
They look so pretty!!

thank you...beautiful!
Simple enough for me 👏
I really like your process but I would love more info!!!
Hey!!!! It so pretty!
Thank you
How long do they need to cure? What is the fragrance oil to wax ration? Thank you.
They don't have to cure once the cool and harden they are ready for use.
Can you please give me all the measurements you said you have to blocks are there a pound or I would like to know cuz I would like to make it so I need the recipe as it is all the measurements
Ma can you add fragrance to it
Where do you get the white soap from?
Michaels Amazon or Hobby Lobby
Thank you I will try it
Very nice. If you sell them how much would you charge for that particular soap and size
$4-5 a bar
How much do they weight? How much do you sell them for thank you.
4-5oz @ $5
Hi there! How long did it take the soap to solidify?
2-3 hours
Do the rose petals fade or blacken with this recipe. I have read that rose petals do that.
Yes after a while it will
Can I do half goat milk and half glycerin soap base?
Yes
New to soap making, if you don't have joboba oil. What other oil can you use?
Hi there! Almond oil or avocado oil can be used.
Thank u for this...can u add lavender and rose petals together...and also can u use coconut oil instead?....
Yes
Maybe I missed it. Where can you get the goat's milk base soap you used in the video?
You can grab it at Micheal Hobby Lobby or Amazon
What brand of Goat melt and pour soap do you use? I read reviews on Amazon and I didn't find a good one.
I used the Micheals brand
Hello, I’m making my first batch soon. I saw your caption saying that the soap should be used within 39 days. Can you tell me the particular reason why ?
I recommend that because I do not use preservatives and the rose petals will eventually mold from the moisture in the soap
Can you use the regular goat milk soap , the one to bathe with
I’m confused on what you’re asking me. Please elaborate.
@@APCAD_Soap85
Instead of the goat's milk soap base, there's a goat's milk soap for bathing
Does your recipe call for titanium dioxide?
No I don’t use that.
Any idea what will be the TFM of these soaps?
I don't know what that abbreviation is to answer your question
I just bought mines
Hi
Thank you for this lovely and easy way to do soaps, can I use almond oil instead? I do t have jojoba oil :(
You’re welcome and yes you can.
How much soap did you use
I used 2 pounds of soap
What rose petals did you use? Did you use dried or did you use fresh rose petals? If you use dried petals, what brand did you use?
I used dried rose petals that I ordered from Amazon
How did you melt
I did the double boil method
Where are you getting your fragrance oil????
Bramble Berry
the problem is that the rose petals turn brown the next day
Maybe it depends on the petals used. I didn’t experience any browning. Was the soap too hot when you added the petals?
I feel like that would be expected when dealing with flowers
People expect natural and cry when it starts to react like something natural
I’ve heard dried roses doesn’t turn soap brown!
@@ummwhatever1913 They so, I have tried it.
Definitely did when I made mine I might use fake ones next time
Hi they do look beautiful but the rose petals will discolour the soap in a week or so surely!
They do. Lavender. So many do. They turn brown and bleed brown all in the soap.
Can you add glycerine to soap for a more soapy lather
I’m not sure
The vegetable glycerin may take away suds from melt and pour
No love
My flowers color turned to green when I poured the hot soap on it
It looks like lettuce soap
Someone tell me what’s wrong ?😞
Did you use dried out rose petals or fresh rose petals? I placed my flowers on after the soap sat for a bit
@@APCAD_Soap85 I used dried rose petals, but I mixed them with a hot soap
You can’t add any rose petals or buds to melt and pour soap because it molds. Same for lavender
@@APCAD_Soap85 How did the flowers stick if you added them after soap sat a while?
Hello! So I must say I love this and I would love to do this one day but I have one question please tell me what those white blocks are and how do you get it to shape that way bc that would make it easier to cut?? Thank you ❤️
I used silicone soap molds and a crinkle cutter. Thank you so much ☺️
Can't hear you 😢
👍
You need to mark your soaps so there level
How do you do that
@@213ireon just make marks with your soap cutter

I stopped making with any flowers or herbs. It will turn brown in couple days.
