I would love to see a video on cutting your fabric pieces larger and then cutting them down to the perfect size. I would like to be able to do this no matter what I am working on. Please consider doing a video like this. Thank you.
Thank you for showing a pattern for a more advanced block! Love it.....would love to see more of the advanced blocks in the future!!!
this pattern looks beautiful and I love the choice of colors for the quilt. the black and grays look so timeless. 🌻
Great tutorial Kimberly! You cut and piece with such precision! And those fabrics are perfect for this pattern. BUT, even with triangle paper, this one is just plain scary! Mine would never match up, I’m sure. I love how they just all line up so perfectly! This is so pretty. But it might be fun to try one just to say I did it. And if it worked, I would try 3 or 4 to make a table runner. That’s a lot of triangle paper even for one block! Thanks for the challenge, Kimberly! You are so awesome!
I can use all my half square triangles I've been saving for this!
Love this block. Thanks for showing it in other fabric lines.
I really love this quilt. There are plenty of easy tutorials out there, so it's nice to see something more challenging. I don't think I'd attempt this wihout the triangle papers.
Thanks so much for bringing us a more challenging design. I absolutely love it! I hope you continue to show us intermediate - advanced blocks alongside the easier ones. Honestly, using triangle and flying geese papers has really leveled me up and I'm looking for more challenges. Too much Christmas prep this week, but next week I'm on it!
Pretty block.
Kimberly, thank you so much for using the papers. I have some and was not sure how to do them. Now I can us up what I have. I love this block.
Beautiful block. Thought of blue and white when I saw this. Or maybe red and white quilt❤
Wonderful tutorial on how to use the triangle paper with the traditionally written pattern. This is a beautiful block.
Triangle paper may just be the best invention EVER! I LOVE the Dwell version!❤
Love all the options included in this pattern. FQS creates the BEST patterns. I've said that before, but FQS patterns are so well written.
This is a really nice challenge ❤ thank you Kimberly et all ❤ I’ll look forward to a nice day with a tea & a quest. Much love & hugs from Scotland ❤
Thank you for including table runner size, as I can give the pattern a try before full investment in a full size quilt!
Thanks for the free pattern. You've convinced me to try the triangles on a roll.
Impressive block😊
I tried it and LOVED IT! Used all of your suggestions. Triangle papers, pressing open etc. I am going to make a queen size for my bed
BEAUTIFUL quilt! 💕💕💕 Thank you for sharing. ❄⛄🎄🎅🏼🤶🎄⛄❄
So pretty. ❤
Love the black and white. I didn’t know that HST paper came in such odd sizes.
I watched this and then downloaded the pattern, because I just had to make this. Saw how many hst it needed and thought, tablerunner. Yup. 🙃🙂 Thank you all and Merry Christmas
Beautiful block and great tutorial! Four blocks set 2 x 2 would make a great table topper. 🤔
Thanks it's always great to see something different! Love that pattern and the fabrics!
Ok I need to do this one.
Great tutorial using triangle paper
What a cute quilt! I'm up for the challenge!
This is a great block and makes a beautiful quilt.
Great tutorial. I think I will try this.
Great block with a bit more complexity, thanks Kimberley. How about some Half Rectangle Triangle blocks as there isn’t much out there. Push the limits a bit more! Happy Christmas
What a beautiful quilt. Now I’ll have to add that to my ever-growing list of quilts to make.
Thanks for this quilt pattern, It's a beautiful one! The first thing I thought of was how perfect it would be for a masculine quilt with the right fabric selection. I have used triangle paper, but not often. Those 1 1/4" squares are really making the paper look very appealing.😅
Thank you so much. I want to try it. You are awesome. ❤️
Love this block. It is going on my list for 2024!
Beautiful block!
I believe the triangles on a roll makes a difficult looking block a lot easier to make! I'm currently doing a Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt. The very first week, I was making a TON of half square triangles. The triangles on a roll made it so much faster! She included templates for tearaway blocks for the other three blocks, but I wanted to learn to use the tools she suggested to use to make them. So far, so good! But I think I like t his block, especially after seeing the whole quilt! I'm sold on the triangle papers!
This is a great block. I can't wait to try it. Paper makes it less intimidating. 😊
Can’t wait to start this Kimberly… that star is so beautiful. I like smaller projects for table toppers and this is a Bobby Dazzler 💎! Thank you for this video. My inspiration comes from so many of your ideas. ❤️Hugs 🥰 Suzanne
great tutorial thanks Kimberly ❤
Beautiful ❤I really like that fabric line.
This is a beautiful block. I have never used paper but it looks great

Beautiful block, and I love using triangle papers so it's a win-win for me! Great demo and tips, Kimberly. I see the Black Diamonds quilt on the right side of set. I still have it in my que to make also--love it too! Merry Christmas ❤
Wow, that is gorgeous!!!❤
Love it! Thanks for throwing this one out there before we head into 2024, though I won't start it this year. I have lots from the Botanica 2020 and Downton Abby lines that I've been stubborn to cut into which would look
nice with this pattern. Thanks!
Oh my gosh what a beautiful block! Thank you for sharing ❤
Beautiful block!!
Beautiful! Thank you for the tutorial. 😊
Love it! Take care with the HST's and double checking the layout and it will go together nicely! I love 2 and 3 color quilts because they're so graphic, so might give this a whirl with some beautiful Thatched fabric I have. Thanks for all your tutorials, love the inspiration and tips!
Kimberly, you make it look easy! I’m going to try 1 block❤ Thank you for the demo and encouragement to try 1 block:)
Pretty block. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you Fatquarter Shop for all you do for me. I love you all. 💕
This is a beautiful block! This is definitely moving up to the top of my list of quilts to make in 2024!
Great display of colors, patterns and workmanship! ❤
Thank you for such a great tutorial and the pattern! Have a wonderful Christmas!
Thank you Thank you! Love the challenge!
You knocked it out of the park with this one! Love it!❤
Really nice tutorial. This block isn't for me, but if I did want to do it, I know with the triangle papers, it would be doable. Very beautiful, though.
LOVE this tutorial!
Love the block! I have a fq bundle I have been saving and I think this is going on my list for next year!
I'm so thrilled you presented a more challenging design. I love this and I already have an excellent fabric candidate - Bleu de France. Can't wait to make a start! I so appreciate using the triangle papers, too. I use them every chance I get - the square in a square and economy too. Just finished a log cabin quilt using the papers. It's really awesome and I'm hand quilting it. Keep those harder patterns coming in 2024 please.
Wonderful!🎉🎄
thx
Thank you so much for this! It’s beautiful and challenging!
Love it and so excited to make this one!
Love it! Thank you Kimberly for your tutorial. You make it look so doable!! Merry Christmas to the Jolly family and to everyone at FQS.

As always, great great tutorial! Especially with the triangle papers. The quilt block is gorgeous and my 3024 to do list. And happy holidays to you , your staff and family . Keep on rocking
I love the look of this quilt. Thanks for showing examples using other fabrics. I will definitely be adding this to my list of quilts to do. I will be using triangle paper for it though. Thanks for the great free pattern and video tutorial. I appreciate it,

Stunning quilt!!!! You make it look so easy. Thank you for sharing
Super pretty! I just might try this block.....next year! ;-)
This was a fun tutorial to see. I noticed she didn't starch the fabrics. For this type of block and detail wouldn't that be beneficial?
Hello Babszolla! We did starch the fabric for filming.
❤
