Most of my live experiences have been with metal at indoor bar venues and this performance made my head explode. Almost 7 months later and i still cant get over how amazing it was. Thanks for uploading this with timestamps. I saw this live and 'Kick Me' stood out to me a lot so I came online to find out what the song was called. The performance overall was just amazing. Did not know what to expect. Whoever did the live sound mixing deserves major props.
That was the greatest and simultaneously the worst concert experience of my life. Fabulously entertaining but knowing it was the last time we'd see them was crushing!

As someone in their early 20s when I first heard Oingo Boingo, Danny at 70 still playing some of my favorite songs (Who do you want to be, and No One Lives Forever might be 2 of my favorite songs of all time) I know its probably not happening, but a small US tour of Danny may be my only chance to hear some of these songs live.
It might be just me but I've noticed in a lot of modern concerts nobody moves? Is it because most people are filming the show on their phones? Great concert tho! ❤
I’ve never been much of a mover at concerts. I don’t bring my phone out, but I’ve just always enjoyed sitting there in my own little bubble and grooving to the music. I take my time to watch each musician in the group for certain periods of every song. While I’m admiring the music, I’m also admiring them performing their craft. So somebody like me, it looks like I’m not having a good time, but in reality, I’m fully in love with what I’m experiencing and just soaking it all in, in my own little way :)
I think you were sitting near me....I was in TER 304....I think you were in the section to my left, above the tunnel. I wanted to ask what equipment you used. Looks great, hopefully the noise from the drunk dude and security can't be heard.

Fantastic show. But the live versions of oingo boingo songs sound tighter and fuller from videos that are 40 years old with less than half the members here. He should just strip it back for those, or get more original members out to play.

He definitely still has the physical energy to be on stage, but during this performance you can tell he doesn't have much left in him when it comes to vocal delivery and the energy needed behind it
Right, it’s exhausting to perform Boingo songs live at his age. Those songs take a lot of energy. But if he really wanted to, he could dance around more and sing more intensely like when he was younger on a few songs, but it might damage his voice, so he doesn’t do it
I don’t know - you can audibly hear him adjust the placement of the headworn mic he used during Insects, as well as very apparent effect that has to how his vocals were picked up and came across in the mix.
@@faninor-the-concert-taper I only skipped through it, so it's possible he is only tracking during certan parts. The vocals appear to be a bit too perfect and sound rather flat, like they are canned. Who knows? Great looking show and it sounds like everyone else is playing live. Its so bad ass, I would actually be ok with some of it being prerecorded.
Nope that’s all live vocal, all the time. There’s no moment of vocal on track in the show. There are a lot of effects on the vocal including overdrive that goes from light to full distortion in different parts of the show, but it’s all Danny. (I mixed this show)
