Orchestral Game Music Concert, entitled "Symphonic Fantasies", featuring arrangements of some of Square's greatest hits. Conducted by Arnie Roth, and performed by the WDR Radio Orchestra at Cologne, Germany (2009-09-12). Yoko Shimomura, Hiroki Kikuta, Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo Uematsu were in attendance.
A fantastic orchestral medley of the Chrono series, which includes:

My face broke out into a smile and a waterfall of tears came flooding down when Frog's theme started.

The way they tied Fight with Magus with Frog's Theme with the Main Theme + Scars of Time was FREAKING EPIC! I'll be inspired for weeks, this composition is flawless!
Holy shit, I loved how they managed to mash "Time' Scar" with "Chrono Trigger" so perfectly in the end. The transition between Magus' Theme into Frog's Theme was simply magnificent!
Oh my GAWD! I would give EVERYTHING to just have a full track of this version to "Scars of Time"! Rony's drumming is everything I've ever dreamed this song could be! I've goosebumps all over and can't stop dancing!! ♥

Fighting Miguel in chrono cross was one of the most memorable moments in video game until now.. Great part of that moment was the song playing.. ;_;
I totally agree! normally on boss fights the music is fast and gets the blood pumping, but Chrono Cross did away with that while fighting Miguel! it took me multiple tries to beat him cause the music kept throwing me off! the sad melancholy nature of Prisoners of Fate really brought home the fact that you were fighting Leannas dad
Every time I listen to this, I get goosebumps and tears when Frog's Theme kicks in, and how the various themes are woven together at the end is nothing short of masterful. Bravissimi!

Agreed. Independently on how I like each track of the game, the version of Prisoners of Fate in this video is probably one of the very best orchestral version of a track in a video game. Ever. Saying it's improved isn't enough, they extracted the very potential of the track at a complete another emotional level.

Chrono Trigger ... the best game, the best storyline, no game will be compared to him, I am grateful for having a chance to play it! And I'm sad for those who have not had the chance to meet him ...

the overlay between chrono trigger and chrono cross is amazing. They have very different feels, but similar thematics, allowing for this beautiful harmony, I tip my hat to you Mitsuda.

Sure thing, but not only that. Lots of other epic fights from other games would also be epic. It'd be awesome to refeel all that anxiety and that "shit got real" feeling that we feel for the first time we get into them through a live performance! =D

prisoners of fate was the most moving song in the game for me. most memorable part is where you are fighting Miguel in the ruined Leene Square. Thats when CC and CT started really meshing together as prequal and sequal. Loved both games. This is amazing

definitiv die beste suite des ganzen abends. atmosphärisch unglaublich dicht, ein klarer spannungsbogen von anfang bis ende, keine einzige sekunde langwielig. die arrangements dem ausgangsmaterial und bisherigen orchesterversionen treu, und trotzdem ein bisschen experimentell. Ronny Barak und der Violonist sind ganz großes Kino, und dann am Schluss die Verschmelzung beider Main Themes.. lässt sich in Worten nicht beschreiben^^!

My name is Marcos..I'm from Brazil..I'm 23 years old..I was a child grew up very poor..where many people have suffered and I could not do anything but watch..grew up keeping in mind that one day would the savior of these people and only God and my soul knows how much I suffered and struggled so far..and I will continue fighting..and since I found this story I clung hard and learned a lot..Chrono actually made me a person better and stronger..like I'm the chosen one..Believe in yourself..

From 7:25 to the end, I get chills every single time I hear it. The way they Scars of Time fits so seamlessly under Frog's Theme and Chrono's Theme absolutely baffles me.

probably because, the sound fo the darbouka is not loud enough without the amplifier that they used, so as some drummers do, he had all the music in his ears, just to play in the right tempo and without extra noises... (he was alone versus the philharmonie, and he won....WOW)
