I'm not sure where you were going with the MGK stuff because Rap God was out in 2013, MGK was only 23 and it had nothing to do with MGK. However, MGK designed his diss track to play on a lot of Em's older songs and named it Rap Devil to mock Em's Rap God. Otherwise though the Rap God track has nothing to do with MGK.
I know it’s odd to think about, not getting the blow back you’d think you’d get from your thoughts, but the truth is you understand exactly what this song was mad for! Now I absolutely love Em, and I listen to this song pretty often while others may not hears the one thing everyone that’s herd it understand what it was meant for! Which is the whole point. Something you could try, is if Eminem wins in the polls every time, then maybe do like a poll every once in a while with 4(or w/e) different Eminem songs to choose from instead. Im a massive em fan with several playlists for diff moods but none off them have rap god in it. It’s a beast song and em doing his thing but It gets tiring listening to it
This track was specifically made for one thing only and that was to remind the real hip hop artists that understand the true nuances of the genre that he had not fell off and could still murk anyone in the game with a pen and paper. He raps in a different style in every single verse of this song and unless you are a hip hop artists or a die hard fan it can be hard to appreciate the real attributes of this track. Not saying your opinion on the track is bad, in fact I think you gave it a fair assessment from your perspective, but for someone who grew up on EM and have listened to everything he has put out from 2010 and prior a hundred times over and a good majority of his stuff from 2010 to current times this is another lyrical masterpiece from the GOAT. But for most people including myself you really have to analyze the lyrics from start to finish in this song which is very hard to do listening to it one time, but mad respect for your thoughts on the matter and I cannot tell you how much I love that a 50+ year old man gives him the true credit he deserves.

The thing about RapGod....and I get this from a lot of younger rap fans (which technically you kind of are) is you don’t understand the references that make the song great if you weren’t around during the 80s and up. Even the people that appreciate it miss half of it a lot of times. I’ve met so many that have no clue what the fast part is even though he says “supersonic speed, jjfad)

This track was specifically made for one thing only and that was to remind the real hip hop artists that understand the true nuances of the genre that he had not fell off and could still murk anyone in the game with a pen and paper. He raps in a different style in every single verse of this song and unless you are a hip hop artists or a die hard fan it can be hard to appreciate the real attributes of this track. Not saying your opinion on the track is bad, in fact I think you gave it a fair assessment from your perspective, but for someone who grew up on EM and have listened to everything he has put out from 2010 and prior a hundred times over and a good majority of his stuff from 2010 to current times this is another lyrical masterpiece from the GOAT. But for most people including myself you really have to analyze the lyrics from start to finish in this song which is very hard to do listening to it one time, but mad respect for your thoughts on the matter and I cannot tell you how much I love that a 50+ year old man gives him the true credit he deserves.

I’m a huge em fan like lifetime fan what you said makes perfect since don’t sweat it. This song is extremely hard to digest especially the first or 10th time hearing it. Music normally isn’t that casually enjoyable when your brain has to work that hard to break it down. It’s a pure cypher track like you said. Meant to be slayed!!!
