I used one galdereen and one cannon. I think I need an upgraded power plant or something because I have one grayed out spot for power now in weapons. Mixed load out was good though pve
Im loving the guardian for bunker missons, good to strafe turrets and good fire power to destroy them, but also good cover the leave ship from front when in fps combat and easy access to storage to place loot. Havent touched my f8c so far this patch.
Yeah, with it's thruster setup, I'd really expect to see it's pitch and yaw should be buffed. Would probably expect it's health to drop a bit though, would be happy if they pumped up it's agility a bit when they do.
I really tried to like attritions. Yeah, they do a lot of damage but good luck with with hitting anything. It’s travel speed is 1000m/s on par with the stock canons. That’s just not good enough, especially not in PVP situations or against small NPC fighter crafts. I always end up with the bulldog/badger/panther etc laser repeaters because it’s travel speed is 1800m/s. Sometimes I compromise with Omnisky Laser Cannons with 1400m/s
Best build ive tried with shop components that you can buy in stanton : Lumacore powerplant (Orison) , Heatsink cooler (Port tresler or even in pyro shops) , Trenta shield (grim hex), Sunfire Quantum Drive (Por tresler or pyro shops). Allmost full power . Galderen weapons most recomended.
for pve u can use whatever you like, ofc attritions do lots of damage, pvp is where its at and hart to min max because u can get countered, something npcs dont do.
This should be prefaced with this: are you looking to pve or pvp? Unfortunately this really matters when you are picking loadouts as slow weapons almost always guarantee death in pvp. Attritions fall solidly into the slow category. That said, if fightjng very large targets the attritions and m series are very good at wacking an opposing Polaris or similar ship.
@@AgnosiaAgnosis Galdereens are less power hungry than the stock weapons, or attrition's for that manner. With two Galdereen's, you need one weapon pip less than stock loadout.
I really want to see someone try the Lightstrikes on the Guardian. I know on paper they don’t seem great but they have the fastest projectile speed of any laser cannon.
I just tested them in pirate swarm and they feel terrible, sure you can hit the target easier but the capacitor is the same as other cannons, so the damage per capacitor is super low. I also got hit by one missile and they both got destroyed. The magdump is less than 4k damage vs a galdereen at 7350.
My update on the Lightstrikes: I've used them to grind my bounty rep up to VHRT, so quite a few hours of time. I liked them a lot. Yes the capacitor damage capacity is limiting, but in terms of alpha damage and velocity they just feel right. A retaliator is going to take forever to kill but less tanky things are quite easy to deal with. I've flown with both the M7A and the attrition 5 as well. The M7A is fun but hitting things that move is obviously difficult. The Attrition would be my go to weapon for big targets, because actually puttingtheir DPS to use and keeping them pointed at small enemies is very difficult. One last benefit of the lightstrikes is that they only miss one shot in the capacitor with 3 energy to weapons which is quite convenient for power management. So yeah, in something like pirate swarm or similar they might lack dps, but for doing stuff in the PU they feel quite nice.
i think they should double down on the base guardian's long range escort role and give it a second tank in lieu of the interdiction utility. I would also like to see their rotational and yaw/pitch speed upped slightly. it doesn't need to be faster but a little more agility would be welcome. even if the base guardian retains a slight advantage over the QI i think that will help differentiate them. I have zero interest in the QI so i've got a CCU to it from the base model but i don't really intend to apply it unless they really do nerf the base model. but then i might just look for another hull.
Thanks for the loadout ideas with the last patch and with Master modes and flight mod changing I keep the loadout to my ships as default so I just get used to it as it is that way when CIG mess with it .Cough... balance ....cough change it I am not to badly effected , but I may change gun to repeater too I like having more shots to spray and pray over sniper one shot at a time
man, if it wasnt that expensive... actually THE fighter i wanted since 2014. No Crew, Heavy Fighter with interior. I dont wanna give away my Sabre since i love it and its stealthy af. and i dont want to give away my limited cargo hauling ability by ugrading my Cutty. And thats pretty much all i have. But that thing is just a beauty. You even have the sexy Paintjob :P
Lateral thrusters need a buff in hp, one middle to one of the strut things and your thruster is done for and you just spin. Or if you hit the cockpit you die and the ship lives. Shame really but I just melted mine. Such a good looking ship.
I wanted to love this ship it looks so cool but its only 'ok' in pve, in pvp you stand no chance. I went back to my hornet mk 2.. guardian needed 2 shields in my opinion.
I see Law Of The West video. I click.
Lol how convenient. Just sat on the couch and got ready to search for a new Mirai Guardian video. You posted this 3 hours ago. Perfect lol
I prefer Galdereens
They have a 1800m/s projectile speed, which means it can fight smaller targets better due to more consistent hits.

@@AgnosiaAgnosis I also have the grayed out spot, with the 2 Galdereen that I use. I'hope disabeling cooler will allow me to use that last spot! 🤞
@@AgnosiaAgnosis that's normal. Galdereens just seem to require less power I think, there's no way to get that last slot as far as I'm aware.

I couldn't figure out how to leave out the front. Is there a button I'm missing, or do I need to set a keybind?

Exactly the type of video I’ve been waiting for good stuff my guy
There are players saying that the Guardian is the same stats as F8C.... on paper yes... but Omni thrust should make a difference
Yeah, with it's thruster setup, I'd really expect to see it's pitch and yaw should be buffed. Would probably expect it's health to drop a bit though, would be happy if they pumped up it's agility a bit when they do.
i mean the hull is only like 7k hp the rest of the hp is in the wings so kinda doubt that.
Thanks for this very helpful video. As always I appreciate your going straight to the point. Keep it up!

Do the weapons I add to my ship spawn back with it if it’s destroyed?
Yes, once you have saved the loadout in the mobiglas that is how your ship will spawn when it's claimed, until a reset then it will go back to stock.
Yes, you can even save the guns on your internal weapon racks if you save the ship's loadout through the vehicle manager app after placing them
Do you recommend the attrition over the cfs in general?
Curious about this as well, the 800m/s reduction in projectile speed doesn't feel good IMO
attrition 5s with staggered fire enabled let's go
Size 5 Attritions have more DPS than the size 6 Mammoth laser repeaters.
Hahahahahahahaha

I like the omnisky cannons. Theyre still punchy, but fire faster and have better bullet speed than the m7as

Ship needs some serious buffs, it kinda sucks right now
mehbe we'll get size 5 pyro repeaters at some point
Attritions won't hit players though
it will work against most players, but you shouldnt be fighting players with this thing honestly, at least in a 1v1.
I agree, if they do nerf it ill be heartbroken again
A nerf would be really dumb considering it's not good.
