Jonathan Antoine has become a true star in the operatic world, Charlotte is pursuing a stage career in musical theatre. Jonathan's voice is spellbinding.
Johnathan's career has took a bit of a down turn, last time i was on his channel, he was asking you tubers to donate money, to help him make a new album, he looked like he was living in a bedsit, that was about 6 months ago,
@@seanmc1351 Jonathan is in his home studio,his career is not in a down turn, he had concerts in Belgium, Turkey,and the donations were paid to ArtistShare, not to him. The composer Diane Warren requested Jonathan to record an album on her songs,“ By Request vol 1” which came out a short few month ago

@@seanmc1351 I guess you forgot the lockdowns,.. his career was stalled... then there are the high taxes in the UK...plus Jonathan is an independent performer,... cost of recording,....cost of travel,.etc..etc. frankly,.... And it’s non of our business..on Jonathan income,....😼
He would have never walked on that stage without her. He was great so thank you Charlotte for introducing Jonathan to the world.
Charlotte is my brother-in-law’s niece. She and Jonathan worked very hard to reach their level of singing, despite their young age. She was so mature and very supportive of him. I was annoyed they lost to a dog act, but they went on to great things, which they both truly deserved.
It is often the second placed act that becomes more successful.
I am sad they are no longer as close, but that often happens.
@@brontewcatave you noticed when it comes to the "X-Factor" the majority of winners have had either a short lived music life or none at all and its the 2nd place acts that last long....and most of them are women...not all but most.
@@jaws848 Not really. I have never actually watched X Factor. I have watched BGT and the Idol franchises. It seems pretty true the runners up do pretty well.

Jonathon is world famous now , yet he is always so humble.
Charlotte stayed with Jonathan until he grew confident now he's world famous.
On top of the fact that he sings like an angel, he has a heart of gold and won't abandon his friend. Love him.
Look at Jonathan Antione - Empty Chairs and Empty Tables. His voice now has the power of the greats, but the emotion he is able to portray induces goosebumps.

I got to see Jonathan in Toronto a while ago. I was so excited and he didn’t disappoint me.
I saw this in real time and yet again the reaction when they walked on stage was disgusting...it makes me SO ANGRY.
The lad was broken and with no confidence.
The girl knew he wouldn't go on, on his own so thats why she appeared with him.

Jonathan is truly sensational - he deserves all the success he achieves. Just insisting that they remain a duo after Simon's observation says so much about his character & moral compass.

Jonathan still lives with his parents and sister and two very old cats and a visiting fox. He sings in his home studio. He has a good career that’s growing. He’s truly a good guy and he is against bullying and for kindness. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾💗💗💗👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

I've become quite a fan of Jonathan Antoine.
An "Opera Star"?...🤔 What opera's has he appeared in?
As far as I'm aware he's a Classical-Pop recording artist who does mic-tech concerts, but an Opera Star he is not!

Johnathan has taken up the mantle since the legendary Luciano Pavarotti left this world in 2007. So heartwarming to see younger generation of singers come up behind the all time best opera stars of yesteryears. There are still a few alive today, but at least we have people like Johnathan who continue to carry the torch in honor of those great ones that are no longer here.

You really should listen to them performing the same song in the final. Not only do they both look great, Jonathan sounds amazing as expected, but Charlotte is SO much better than in this audition.

Your so right about not judging a book by its cover. It makes me wonder how many Amazing talents are out there undiscovered because they are intimidated and disheartened by all the skepticism they’ll have to face.
He definitely was the star! Credit to her, she provided him the courage to let loose. No disrespect to her, but she was his “service dog” that calmed him, and allowed him to overcome his nerves.

The ever blunt Simon was right. I never agree with the way he presents his pinion, but 99% of the time he's spot on. He's definitely a superior singer to Charlotte, but she's not bad at all either. He's a star in the Opera world now and he looks a lot more comfortable being on stage now. Charlotte was an amazing friend to get Jonathan to do this, and I think she knew that he was in a different league than she was but wanted to help him out, and hopefully good things would come for her too as a result.
Again I'll reiterate what I have said to others if he is a star in the "Opera world" what professional Opera productions has he appeared in?
Stop confusing Classical-Pop artists for genuine Opera singers in the industry sense!
My favorite Johnathan song is Country Roads.
Simon was absolutely right in his critique. They did well together but they couldn't continue because their voices would take them down different paths. The two split up after 2 years following this audition on BGT. Jonathan has since taken up an operatic career and has grown beautifully. I'm a huge fan of his and am very glad to see people like you promoting him so more and more people can discover his enormous talent.

Jonathan is a star in his own right. I listen to him on you tube every day. His voice is magical.
They both have different and difficult paths to follow, but friendship never ends. Good lick for both.
Another great reaction. I think Jonathan and Charlotte sound amazing together. From the first time I heard this, I've always thought there was something wrong with Charlotte's microphone. There's times when you can barely hear her voice, and other times when her voice fluctuates within the same line of the song. It sounds like something was cutting out through her microphone.
It was her lack of confidence on certain notes. She failed to project.

Ummmmm. He’s a tenor. Go check out his Puccini arias on UA-cam. His high Cs are the best ! But he sings many genres now. Next album is all Diane Warren hits reinvented as only he can do it

Jonathon would never have gone on the stage if Charlotte had not been there and I love that he stood by her and appreciated what she gave to him. We are all vulnerable humans and when another human values us we should always value them.
Jonathan is a great singer now days, his voice so enormous strong... when i find somebody really a good singer.. always famous after that

They went onto the finals in their season so there are other songs they sing together in BGT I really hope you give their other stage presentations a reaction and comment . Although they do not preform together anymore Jonathan did go on to be a world famous opera singer and Charlotte did continue with performing on stage last I heard . Thank you for your reactions .

They put out a CD together, and Charlotte is good in that, and they sound *great* together.
A truly good talent...kept hidden because of his feeling bad about his size...UNTIL...someone like Charlotte came along and saw past that. With someone giving confidence and friendship.....look at the outcome. Wonderful

This song The Prayer is written for two voices. It is almost always preformed with a tenor and a soprano. She went on to musical theater and he is doing very well too.
Charlotte had some sound issues during that performance. She got better in other performances. And eventually, as mentioned below, they did separate amicably xx

I agree with what you said, they are so much better singing this in the final. Also the semi final. As has been mentioned he has gone on to be quite quite incredible. You should also check out him singing Nesum Dorma in his home office. Wow is all I can say. Another song they sang was The Arms of an Angel, beautiful.

Jonathan Antoine is extraordinary, I had the privilege of attending his 1st Solo concert in LA California and he, just the audience away. Jonathan is the youngest Tenore to have achieved Two number one Charting Classical Albums in history. This young man will go down in history as one of the greatest tenors of all time. Simon is guilty of judging the “ book” by the cover all too often . But it is great when he does .
They seemed to have grown together as an amazing duo and then parted to make own careers. I believe he is voice training in Italy. amazing young people.
Not sure where you got the information about Italy but it is incorrect.The last time Jonathan was in Italy was for thd documentary made about the duo back in 2012.
He is now about to perform in Australia at Woolworths Carols in the Domain on Dec 16th
