I have seen a few videos of guys doing well from their matey. I was based at Bovington up the road for a short while shame I never popped down to do a spot of fishing! Thanks for checking out the video it’s much appreciated!
Loved this video, really informative. I'm in the Dundee area of Scotland, I assume that that squidding doesn't happen here? I've never heard anyone talk about it. I'm thinking area dependent, thought Arbroath is near by.
it’s worth a try matey if there is a pier nearby that has a few baitfish or smaller species such and whiting, smelt or pollack around in the area. The squid might be there on the feed. Perhaps try late autumn.
@@FISHISLANDTV That's interesting, I didn't realise it was late Autumn, I just assumed it would be the warmer months. I can try for Arbroath as the it's get colder. Thanks for your reply, it's appreciated!
No worries matey. I usually start to fish for them over here around about oct/nov and will get them in number up until around feb time. tight lines matey
I’m not 100% sure what the squid fishing will be like in that area but I think if you speak to other anglers in your area via Facebook groups or online forums you might get some better advice. check out MrFish online for some decent jigs.

Is that off the rocks in Cork? You don't have to tell me where... but you can if you want to!
I’m based in the channel isles matey.
What light u got white light or green
white light on the 50w lamps but just purchased a submersible light which is 9000lm and is green.
Will try that soon.
Thanks for you so much for you information I am New to squid fishing can you get them up the North East coastline and wat this the best jug
Does the withe light have to be over the water as well
I usually just suspend the light over the water so that the surface of the water or an area of water is illuminated.
