    Stuff we use:
    CAMERA - This is the camera we have used to film 90+% of our interviews (over 200 interviews and counting) It continues to be our workhorse - amzn.to/2u66V1J
    LENS - Most people ask us what camera we use, no one ever asks about the lens which filmmakers always tell us is more important. This lens was a big investment for us and one we wish we could have made sooner. Started using this lens at the end of 2013 - amzn.to/2tbtmOq
    AUDIO
    Rode VideoMic Pro - The Rode mic helps us capture our backup audio. It also helps us sync up our audio in post amzn.to/2t1n2hx
    Audio Recorder - If we had to do it all over again, this is probably the first item we would have bought - amzn.to/2tbFlM9
    LIGHTS - Although we like to use as much natural light as we can, we often enhance the lighting with this small portable light. We have two of them and they have saved us a number of times - amzn.to/2u5UnHv

      @@markflierl1624 Sounds like a nice idea to convince yourself that not achieving whatever you define as Victory is OK. -- It really isn't. It's your duty to unfold and grow. Other's depend on it. Most directly your family and friends. More indirectly the entire world.
      Thinking that to Win you must be Bad (which means you won't ever Win, since you define Bad as not-what you'll do) are muddy waters you don't want to fall into.

    What I got from this video , Thank you Mr.Duke is: How do we individually define success?
    And what price are we willing to pay? If you are doing everything you can to the best of you ability, then are you not successful?
    Success is subjective. One might not be successful in business..how about in family? At work? Committing to a healthy lifestyle for ykur health and people who care about you? There are many definitions of success. Seems society's definition of success is car, house,$, wife and kids? I wish everyone who saw this video unfounded, profound, dramatic "success," in your Life and it's endeavors. We are all in this journey called living the human experience and this is part of it. Much success to you.

Once one has fully comprehended this fact it is crystal clear that every situation, especially when success/money/fame is the ultimate goal, boils down to a " it's either him or me" conflict. And the most devious, not necessarily the most talented people become successful.

      @williemo44 5 років тому +41

      therealmccoy2004 I do understand what you are saying... to a certain extent its true, but I believe it is far more complex. At one time Kevin Hart was the “real comic not getting air time.” Probably around the time Dave Chapelle was getting all the air time. All the brothers you mentioned are real brothers who endured the same struggle all brothers endure. But I believe the complexity begins with the observation that they only allow one black comic to be on top at a time. This is not to put the individual comic on a pedestal, this is to pit black against black. They (the establishment) want us to be crabs in a bucket.

      @williemo44 5 років тому +4

      Judah TheOracle thank you, I appreciate your response. You are correct in my opinion. What most also do not know is Kevin Hart could work on 3 films at a time, all he is required to do is show up to his trailer, know his lines, and hit his mark. And he could move on to the next shot in an entirely different film. The editing, the sound, and storytelling can take on a life of its own outside of Hart’s involvement and therefore the final product is not 100% his doing. I do not understand the one comic at a time thing and would like to know more about that because it’s bull. It would be good for us the consumer to allow competition resulting in better quality films.

    • @williemo44
      @williemo44 5 років тому +4

      Judah TheOracle the one black comic at a time theory is obviously not something liberal Hollywood will expressly admit. However, seeing that when that one comic is hot, the market is saturated with their product in the mainstream. Historical data supports this. I imagine once Kevin Hart fizzles out we will have to see who the next black leading man comic is and again examine the theory.

Religion was supposed to help people have good morals and to be peaceful and live a righteous life. But people corrupted the word and use the bible as a tool for hatred. How can a sinner call out another's sin? People quote the bible all day on "its wrong to be gay!", but oh won't talk about how they on their 4th marriage or tell lies to others. A bunch women feeling guilty about the fact that they had to sex their way into movie roles, recording contracts, etc. and now they wanna blame the men. They had a CHOICE, but they wanted fame and money so bad and so fast that they COMPROMISED THEIR LIVES and now they use this movement to make people feel sorry for them. But this is not a knock on women who have actually been sexually assaulted and definitely NOT a defense of the men. Just the ones who KNOW their greed and desire for fame and fortune got the better of them.

Hollywood actresses have a choice either be a slave, a movie every 3 months, or fuck some ugly dude, have photoshoots and bam. It's not like we're making this shit up. Human nature tends to take the easy route. It's funny though, because when someone wrongs you, you report them immediately. You don't wait till the right time when they're famous. What if the me too movement never came about? We would've never know about how they worked their way up and at that point you're strategizing. Use your logic, using your emotions because you have a vagina isn't gonna lead you anywhere. Before I was a man, I had a vagina in my mother's stomach. So stop the bullshit, please. You could castrate me and inject me with estrogen and I'm a woman. So stop with the man woman bullshit. A woman can kill a man just as efficiently as another man. So stop with the cuckold mindset. Men need women, and women need men. And wrongdoings should be reported immediately unless you worry about your afting career.

    King Solomon nailed it when he said regarding human endeavors that "All is vanity". He was probably one of the wealthiest men ever and yet he realised that in comparison with spiritual things, mans idea of what's important is rubbish. The apostle Paul said the same thing in Phil 3:8 where he said " I have taken the loss of all things and I consider them as a lot of refuse, that I may gain Christ".
    Yes, a load of refuse or rubbish. And Jesus who knew better than any man the truth of this statement said this in Matt:3 "Happy is the man conscious of his spiritual need". No truer word spoken.
    Every man has a spiritual need. Most people though are not conscious of it. It lies dormant for most people, sadly all their lives. Instead they fill their lives sub consciously looking for meaning and fulfillment in hobbies, careers, drugs, alcohol, dissolute lifestyles etc. The famous end up in rehab or living in houses with 22 bathrooms, as if its the 22nd bathroom that will give their life more meaning!
    Look at people whose children leave home and the parents end up rattling round in a big old house. What do they do? Scale back? No for the most part they will often extend the property by adding an extra couple of bedrooms and garage. It's as if they hope that materialism will somehow fill that gaping hole in their lives, that by building this extra rooms, that somehow a hole in their lives will be filled. Only it doesn't. They bed up wandering around from room to room, lost and deep down unhappy but unable to put their finger on exactly why! And why? Because they are not as Jesus said "conscious of their spiritual need".
    What did Jesus say in
    Matt 8:20 "Foxes have dens and birds of heaven have nests, but the Son of man has nowhere to lay down his head.” But was he unhappy at having little in the way of material things? No. He was a very happy and contented man because he was extremely conscious of his spiritual need.

      Yea you are pretty closed minded with a pessimistic mindset! Matt 8:20....You clearly are taking it out of context.....Jesus said,"I about my Father's business!" Did you know Jesus paid TAX? He used MONEY! Why did he call up a marine spirit...to hand him money when he needed to pay tax? That means he kept on top of his business. Meaning he had no rest when he was on Earth DUE to his mission....but stop encouraging people to have better lives. Materialistic things ARE good! If not why the hell do you even work? ...100% you are just broke! And using scripture like a pharisee. How pathetic are you....knowledge puffs up clearly you have a knowledge superiority complex!

    The human race has a pattern of events, the history repeats itself in all different category of society to those who are ignorant of it.
    All you literaly have to do is study these patterns in history and see in which moment of those pattern you were born and living in at the moment, and you will be wise not to fall for your own human desire and emotions that made the ones who were here before us do the same things and fall for the same intricacies of life everyone around us is falling for.
