- Beyonce got candid in a recent interview and the Beyhive is shook.
Beyonce has been dominating the music industry for longer than some of us have been alive and she doesn’t seem to miss a beat. Even in her Destiny’s Child days, the group went on to release some of the biggest iconic songs that we still love to karaoke to. She’s the definition of what it means to have determination and her work ethic is simply unmatched. But with that being said, working so hard for so long can take a toll on you.
In a recent interview for the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Beyonce opened up about how the industry has affected her over the years. She’s been working for nearly her entire life and while it obviously seemed to pay off from how much she’s accomplished, there’s a lot she had to sacrifice and give up to get to where she is. While a lot of us were able to hang out with our friends or party, Beyonce was in rehearsals, in the recording studio, doing live performances and touring. And that probably doesn’t cover all the responsibilities she’s had as an artist, actress, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Not to mention that the physical and mental demands of a career like hers couldn’t have been all that healthy for her. But as she’s turning 40 this year, she’s stepping into a new chapter of her life and we can’t wait to see what’s next for her.

From what I have seen, so many other artist give Beyonce the credit she deserves. She works hard, and has never given up, out danced her own back up dancers, and has hit after hit in every group and setting she has ever placed herself in. She is an amazing business woman, stepping out from behind just music to venture into other realms of creativity, such as; films (from full on acting to character voices in many different childrens films), fashion such as her trademarked (since before the birth of her child) Blue Ivy brand that has had many collaborations with Adidas, and many other mini collabs with other artist and brands. She is someone who should be admired for her work ethic and for her dedication to her craft. Celebrities are not some kind of deitity or God that should be worshipped. They are artist that happened to have been noticed or worked hard to get into a position where the entertainment industry muat take notice to get where they are now, and deserve recognition for their talent, drive, and hard work.

I used to respect her a lot but one day I stumbled on some images of a movie and realized that has the same concept as Beyonce's Lion King song and the other movie is from the 80s, so I dug deeper and realized that she has been sued for plagiarism in many occasions and most of the time she settles in order to avoid scandal, Jay Z as owner of Roc Nation he suppresses any bad media to Beyonce making her appear perfect but is far from that, choreographies stolen like Single Ladies, Dance for Dance for you, the intro vocals of Drunk in Love is the chorus of a Middle Eastern song where she simply snipped the vocals and added to her song, she settled that one, she has many law suits but are covered by Jay Z and also they are both investigated because since Jay Z owns Tidal he without asking user downloaded both their albums to their phones with no authorization yet the inflated downloads were sent to Nielsen Soundscan . She has received 23 Grammy's as of know if I'm not mistakes is the most by any artist ever, if she was deserving of these amount of awards that would make her the best artist in history using The Grammy's as the most important award for singers, however Jlo, Paula Abdul and Britney can dance just as good, live shows? Madonna can make shows bigger than hers and she has done it for 35 years, songwriter? Well she is not known for being a songwriter, she might collaborate and add things so she gets credit but her name is always the last or before last meaning her input was lower than the rest and we have Avril Lavigne, Gaga, Adele, Taylor Swift or Mariah Carey. Production? Well Beyonce's albums can have over 30 different producers, whereas Tori Kelly, Carly Simon, Avril Lavigne, Stevie Knicks and Mariah Carey have less than 10 on their albums. Singing? In my opinion Beyonce is not a good singer, she is a great singer but not the greatest think Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Patti Labelle, Whitney Houston, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin and Mariah Carey at Beyonce's age could sing her all the way under the table and many even today are far more accomplished vocalists out there.
