As much as I like John, his opinion on Punk and his fanbase is kinda dumb. People dont like Punk because they think it's 'cool' being a Punk fan. It's because he's charismatic and has the ability to make good stories with other people. Just look at his shit with MJF, Cena, Jeff Hardy.. and now with Drew.
As much as Punk was in the wrong for getting physical, we can't say much as the sound was missing from the video, so there's no saying what provoked him.
I’m proud of John and Dante that they got to experience WrestleMania live. Been a fan since their previous channel, and now watching them have non-stop success, it’s really a testament to their love for wrestling and connection to the fans

Saying “what are you going to do about it?” isn’t a punishable offense. It’s shit talk which everybody does. Shoving and choking outside of your job context is pretty much assault, but punishable at the very least.

About the Raw belt thing, In 2013 after The Rock won the title and changed the design of it, Cody Rhodes (off air segment you can watch online) came out and asked The Rock to look at his title. And said years later that title won't be known for The Rock but will be known for Cody Rhodes. So this was also long term storytelling

Yea I didn't really agree that warranted the response Will gave. The fact is that the full time WWE schedule is a grind. That is the reason some wrestlers choose AEW. So that they don't have to live that grind. Why is it so horrible that HHH pointed that out? It's basically saying if you don't want that schedule then you aren't right for the WWE. Will took that and decided to bring HHH's wife into it with a 20 year old insult.

It's dumb because Triple H is implying that if you don't work for WWE you aren't giving 100%, or in other words, you are lazy/not as good as the WWE talent. He's basically burying other companies/indy wrestlers while putting WWE over as the only place that matters. I strongly disagree with that, especially since I feel the WWE schedule is ridiculous, and increases the risk of burnout, injuries, and shortens careers.
I also don't think a wrestler like Bryan Danielson, for example, suddenly stopped giving 100% once he chose the more relaxed schedule AEW has. Plus some of the biggest WWE stars like Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar were basically only wrestling on PPVs, which makes Triple H's comments even more stupid.

Not to defend Punk but there was shouting matches and fights in the locker room of my HS wrestling team all the time yet no bad blood was left after practices. In an intense sport, frustration wins and sometimes the emotions over come yourself but it happens. To fire someone and say “he feared for his life” sounds like an excuse to get rid of someone 🤷🏽♂️

The problem is we don’t know what Jack Perry said to Punk. Punk was already on edge and irritated by everybody backstage being petty and childish. This run with WWE has proven that it wasn’t ALL Punk. He’s had no issues back in WWE. AEW isn’t perfect either. Jack Perry probably said something wild and Punk reacted, albeit poorly.

My neighbors probably were wondering what was going on. After Cody successfully finished his story successfully, I instantly broke out into a yes chant and was clapping and was crying tears of joy!!! My fur baby was in my room and she came out to the living room and was like what's wrong with you. I literally explained to her what was going on.

the way the MITB cash in went it makes me wonder if the original plan was to have Punk v Seth > Punk win and Drew interference post celebration with the cash in play out as intended but with Punk suffering the pin and leading to a Punk v Drew feud.
If the original match had gone through as normal it would have also been cool to see IF Seth was still involved in the ME of Night 2 > after cody wins > Damien music hits and both cody and seth are out there exhausted, beaten and broken and not knowing who the cash in was going to be against
The will ospreay promo was the worst part of the worst aew show. It wasn’t even a good promo in kayfabe. And it was petty to go after Triple H who understands this business better than almost anyone in 2024, and he didn’t even single out anyone specific.
