I have a newfound appreciation for this movie, especially when you hear so many stories of actors that didn’t get along on sets, it’s cool and refreshing that right off the bat, Paul Walker and Tyrese had no egos and got along and became such close friends during this movie. And Roman’s character was a really good addition to the series, there’s also a short movie that connects the end of the 1st movie into the beginning of this one
best thing about the movie is that vin desiel isint in it, with exception to the first movie when he was still trying to act he literally drags every one of these movies down since he gave up on acting around this time period. the people making this movie knew it was just dumb fun and just rolled with it.
@@Fartucus That's what I've always felt too. I don't even hate Vin Diesel, but "Dom Toretto" is not a compelling character to me, let alone as the lead of 8 or more movies.

On cigars: He cut the right end. On most premium cigars the foot (lighting end) is cut but the other is not. He also did the smart thing in wetting the cutting end a bit as the wrapper can split during the cut if it's really dry or the cutter is dull.
Tokyo Drift is a sequel that feels like a spin-off, but has the most and the best racing in the franchise. Fun watch for sure and I'd recommend to watch it and to continue with the series. At least till the fifth movie, which is considered the best of the franchise.
Did you watch the short that was between the first movie and this one? It’s called “Turbocharged Prelude to 2 Fast 2 Furious”. It shows how Brian gets to Florida from California. 18:44 depending on the cigar. Some cigars are capped on both ends and some are just capped on one side. The “cap” prevents it from unraveling. If both sides are capped then you will cut both sides and light one side. If one side is capped then you cut the capped end and light the opposite side. Cutting the cap allows better airflow through the cigar. 20:36 it’s Florida. Waterways everywhere. 42:42 really the fourth movie starts the franchise (the basically named it the same as the first movie). The first three were done before they were looking at making it a big franchise. Vin Diesel decided to do “xXx” instead of coming back for this one. He also wasn’t happy that he didn’t have a lot of artistic control in the movie. They got him back in the series by relinquishing the rights to the “Riddick” films to him. Paul Walker wasn’t in Tokyo Drift cause they felt he was too old and they wanted to work with a younger crew of racers (apparently 33yr olds don’t race anymore). Tokyo Drift gets brought into the franchise as the 7th movie in the series.
The movie is a fun watch and fits perfectly for the time (year/month) it came out. The low score was because everyone was hyped about the movie and they thought Dom Toretto(Vin Diesel) was in the movie. Many fans felt let down about that. But as you keep going further into each sequel, you’ll be glad that the new characters were introduced earlier. They made it all work together. Keep watching to see how. Don’t stop.
