@@tamsuskaralius835 what if that paradox only happens at the moment of her birth? So she gets to change one event in history and she's able to observe it all until she's supposed to be born. But because what she changed prevents her parents from meeting then making her, she fades away into nothing instead of joining the real world. Paradox or not, her story is absolutely tragic and sad. Almost everyone gets a happily ever after ending, and they all get what they want. Apparently Jacqui wants her dad to live a good life even if it means she'll never exist. That's so sad
Spawn had the best ending. Just fucking up the Ten Hells with Scorpion and Sub-Zero for Spawn trying his best to redeem himself.

Damn, I genuinely didn’t expect terminator to have such a noble ending, I figure his mission to kill all humans would overthrow any other answer he could go with but I guess his mission calls more for keeping technology alive so he made a choice for neither to die. That’s actually pretty cool ngl
well, his mission was to ensure Skynet's victory in the future by eliminating potential threats from the past. Through trial and error with the Hourglass, he learnt that no matter how much he changes the timeline to ensure Skynet's victory over the humans through total annihilation, it always results in the mutual destruction of humanity and the machines. So he concluded that the only best, logical course of action is to instead ensure the peaceful coexistence and cooperation between machines and humans

I really like that because it acknowledges that while the Terminator's mission is to kill all humans, the reason Skynet wanted them all dead in the first movie was because it deemed humanity to be the biggest threat to it's existence. Most media (as well as the sequels) tend to forget that killing humanity isn't Skynet's ultimate goal, it's just the means to an end, and it was really refreshing to see some story actually remember that detail and acknowledge it. He found the best future to ensure Skynet's continued existence and went with it, because war ended up destroying both sides and while he wanted to kill humanity, he wanted to protect Skynet more.

Rewind to T2: Judgment day. How does it end? The terminator ( after being around humans the entire film, learning things, evolving) sacrifices himself in the end by lowering himselfl into the lava aka molten steel in the plant with the iconic "thumbs up" as he is lowered.
Much like here into the bottomless sea of blood, except for legal purposes ( no actual arnie voice, and plot from cameron lol) he waves instead of gving his iconic thumbs up.
Thats why his ending to me is really, really, cool. Btw guys/girls that ending in T2 is basically titanic for every grown man in the 90's and all time lmao....its our "special" tear jerker moment for all of us ( T2 was kinda a father son movie-ish....since John would never have a dad and closest thing was infact the terminator)

His character fits surprisingly well in the Mortal Kombat Universe. The character interactions really show how good the writing can be for these games.

I love how both terminator and Rambo realize that the hourglass was too powerful for them, so they used it for good and then walked away (or in terminator’s case, sacrificed himself)

Jade's ending is surprisingly good. She initially only thinks of those she is loyal to - Kitana and Kotal - but upon following the honest advice of her lover, she finds that she can do so much more than return to the status quo. She even goes after the heart of the issue, slaying Cetrion and Shinnok, enabling true peace at last.

@@yami2957 i think he meant it as in she has parents. So she is bound to have complex feelings and emotions when it comes to them because she is human. But also most people at age 24/25 are still fairly mentally immature. Jacquie seems to be a step above most in that age thanks to her military background but again that pesky human element comes into play because she's not been on the earth a very long time and is more so acting off of emotion rather than logic.
But MK is notorious for bad writing and plot holes. The stories honestly still serve as a means to get the characters to fight. Even though modernly it's done through very nice looking cinematics. When you start thinking about what is happening it becomes much more ridiculous.
Fujin's ending man. It is so heartwarming and pure. I absolutely love it.
Arguably the best possible ending assuming Fujin eventually decides to pull an Aaron Black/Terminator and "Seal away the Hourglass".
No extant threat, no madmen running the hourglass, no one-and-done changes. Balance but free and better than it was.

Sounds to me like she's still living rent free in your head. You built an entire realm to replace her. You created an entire timeline where you're the favored child and she's dead or never existed. All that to distinguish yourself as your own person, yet she still controls your every move, consumes your every thought and guides your every action, despite no longer existing in this timeline. Kitana may not be around anymore, but she's still very much in control of you.
Mileena really does have a pretty bad obsession with her sister. Even as a god, she can't let go of the spite for her sister.

Gotta admit, THE best ending is Erron's. Time *SHOULD NOT* be tampered with. No matter what your reasons are. No matter what intentions you have, time is too uncertain and unpredictable to control.

I love that through everything he could have done all he wants is his brother and clan. Sub deserves to just fucken happy for once.
Honestly some of the villain endings aren’t even that bad. Kabal just ends up living a simple family man life, Kano ultimately decides to keep doing what he’s doing, Mileena simply wanted to get rid of Kitana, hell even D’Vorah’s ending makes sense when you think about it because everything she said was true. Was her reality better? No, but there was truth in what she said.

Geras and Barakas Endings were pretty good for villains
The only ones with true vision and ambition are Bi-Han, Shao Khan, Kollektor, Scarlet and Shang Tsung.
Its a shame we got no Quan Chi ending or an proper Kratos ending in MK9 where he slays the Elder Gods after they betrayed him like they did with Scorpion.
Then there's Shao Kahn...
Geras's ending is such a sigh of relief, he's suffered so much pain for a TERRIBLY long time
He and the hourglass can finally rest in peace.
Some of these endings are pretty deep. Very well written. I give credits to Mortal Kombat for that

Same. Knowing that all of these are now official timelines, is crazy.
Don't forget, before Aftermath, there were 3 endings to the base mk11, Aftermath seemingly occurs after the 1 loss ending (losing to Kronika one round before beating her). Kronika wins in the 2 loss ending, and in the 0 loss ending, Liu Kang has Kitana by his side.
Nrs needs to make these tower ending costumes most of the characters wear, actual skins.

Rambo's ending almost makes me tear up, the idea of John finally just getting to have a home to return to and enjoy a simple life is such a kind way to end his story, even if it is a non canonical what-if in a crossover.

Erron blacks ending is my favorite. He throws the hourglass into the ocean of blood and vows to never let this time stuff interfere with anyone’s life ever again. All because he doesn’t want to change and wants to continue living in the moment. Cool as hell ending for a cool as hell character.

Thanks to the MK1 Reboot, every single one of the endings are canon which means, Lui Kang really need to pick the correct Keepers of Time.
I think my favorite ending, and most logical to me has to be Erron's. He doesn't play god, he doesn't bend time to benefit himself or make a better timeline for all. He instead keeps it as is, and makes sure no one has power to control time.

i think she just took easiest route and never looked if there was alternative. like hurting his dad somehow but keeps him alive, and sends him to her mom. like killing his dad, getting him turned into revenant but failing on his first mission being revenant so he is resurrected before he does anything or turned into revenant, before quan chi focuses on his dad, revenant dad randomly walks away and is resurrected or quan chi gets distracted by bunch of stuff and dad just hears "go away" so dad just leaves and gets resurrected. his dad would remember the massacre but he wouldn't manage to do anything for quan chi.
The voice actor was amazing imo
like she just inserted alternative timeline where his dad never dies, never gets turned into revenant and was satisfied on first succesfull attempt. his dad for ducks sake made sure that he wont lose his daughter or his wife and made timeline ending slavery earlier so other people like him have a good chance in life.

It just feels like Jacqui never properly tried to make that his dad and his mom would meet so she would continue existing. Just: oh my dad is never dies in the massacre? good enough for me, i dont bother to make my dad and mom meet so that i could exist for dad and mom. also wouldn't that just cause paradox? if jacqui never exists then who made timeline where his dad continues being alive person without turned into a revenant, who defeated kronika in the final battle, who did literally anything that jacqui did.

Fujin really had the best ending for all characters. It was arguably so good it would never be Cannon because it would end the series lol
Really disappointing to have Scorpion regress. In MKX he had FINALLY gone beyond his “GRRR REVENGE!!!” persona. But we have hin killed off only to be replaced with past Scorpion who’s still all “GRRRR REVENGE!!” New timelines may change a few things.
I know his path to vengeance is a big part of the character. Just would like more nuance, much like what they did in MKX comics and game.

I think he only went back to vengeance because he finally learned who is responsible for all of the bad shit that happens.
I think it works here, we still have a MKX style Hanzo in the story of MK11 with the present Scorpion. The “revenge” Scorpion in MK11 and this ending is the one from the past who was still a revenant, in which case it makes perfect sense. His whole point of being a revenant is seeking vengeance, and it’s a lesson the present human Scorpion tries to teach him in MK11.

this combined with the outstanding story or MK11 is what pulled me into MK11, just the story alone. that's very impressive the fact that all these characters have very unique end styles also makes it fantastic
