Little mush waves are definitely good to start but stoked for some conditions like this. Even with 20 plus years surfing this is hardest water sport I’ve ever gotten into.

Good to hear. Its a bit of a learning curve, but its definitely worth the effort. So nice to be able to find empty little mushy waves and have as much fun as you would surfing in good waves
The challenge is finding a place devoid of swimmers, divers, snorkelers, and potentially underwater wildlife and reefs. I can’t imagine getting hit by the hydrofoil at speed results in a good outcome.
Definitely worth talking about and I don't agree with people trying to ride these in crowded lineups. The beauty of foiling is you can ride a small mushy waves and wind swell that no one would want to surf anyway
😂 Basically it follows the same principles as airplane wings creating lift.
