Looks beautiful! I'm in the midst of planning an almost identical build. Looking to get a gloss clear coat. Assuming next steps after dyeing, sanding back are grain filling and base coating w a sanding sealer? Would love to see the finished product!
I actually sold this one and I never got to see the finished product, sadly. Your next steps are spot on. At the end of this video I did post some pics with the sanding sealer sprayed on. I did not actually go with a grain filler because I really like the feel and look of the grain. However, if that "Glass" look is what you're going for then, yes, a grain filler would be optimal. Best of luck on your project. I would love to see YOUR finished product for sure.
