I adore these precious metal bracelets. Somewhat hilariously, they are also much more practical in hotter climates, such as in South America, where one would have to change leather straps fairly frequently as they perish in the heat.

Another great video Felix! I agree about the bracelet being amazing on this watch! Its lines and pattern reach right up to the bezel. Clearly it was a precursor to the fully integrated lug-less bracelets that would start become more widely used five or six years later with Pierre Moinat's 1965 US Patent No. 3,259,283 (the actual aesthetic design of which is almost certainly attributable to Gerald Genta), "culminating" in Genta's stainless steel Royal Oak integrated bracelet in 1972. I'd love to see a thorough Goldammer timeline of integrated bracelet evolution through history if you haven't already done it!

I have a 1953 or '54 14 krt gold casing Omega, inherited from my grandfather.
The wristband was custom made in most probably the sixties and is 14 krt gold as well, almost similar to this one.
The watch was serviced last year for the first time and is like new again.
But this one in the video is iconic.

hardly ever wear suits, if at all then a jacket with a t-shirt. I usually wear sporty clothes and with smaller diameters like this 34mm constellation, a full gold watch goes with everything you can find in your closet 😄
And yes, that bracelet is aweeesome 🙌🙌
What’s really crazy is that this isn’t even my style of watch. It’s the polar opposite. But this one model on this bracelet is something I absolutely love. Seeing this for the first time made me start to save towards a Day Date. (Something I always kind of wanted but thought would be too loud).
Have you already seen our day date reference guide? It's really amazing how unagitated a full gold DD in 36mm looks on the wrist.
