Dear friends. 20w40 or 15w40 is also called NORMAL ENGINE OIL, IT COSTS BETWEEN 700₹ to 1000₹ for 3litre or 3.5litre, This oil will be very thick. Good for South Indian condition, Where as, the 0w30 and 5w30 both are (FULLY SYNTHETIC). Reason people use in new gen Diesel engine and Petrol engine is that, at the time of starting a car, the synthetic Engine Oil as it is very much close to free flowing, the oil quickly gets into the piston areas and then make the Engine start without much hassle or noice coming. Ina way synthetic Engine Oil is also used for high performance cars, the reason is as I said, to get the Oil Quickly To Pistons.

Brand മാറിയാൽ no prob. But please check for engine oil leakage. Clean engine oil dipstick and check again. But try to use same brand because sometimes additives are different

If it is mentioned in tha manual then it is best to use the same. If that is not available then use 5w30 20w50 is not a synthetic oil and no good to use
It is based on oil you use. You have to replace as per the oil used. For fully synthetic oil, 10000km/12 month u have to replace. If u r using mineral oil the replace interval will be 5000km/6months
