Teslas are coming down for two reasons... First, starting 1/1/23, new federal rebates start. This has people who would've bought used waiting to buy new instead. Less buyers for used Teslas has the price plummeting. Also, Elon's no longer the darling of the political left, so some are switching to other brands. I know, it's silly, but it's true.

People bought Teslas because they believed in renewable energy or to be cool. The reason all of Elon’s projects are going to zero is because he became (or is showing everyone) how much of a piece of shit he is - regardless of his political preference. Although I do agree that terrible human beings tend to fall on that side of the political spectrum so maybe everything is political after all these days.
Gas also went down so people are not freaking out about gas going to $10/gal.

You will love the crossfire, very fun drive, reliable ... and you got if for scrap pricing. Parts can be hard to come by though ... you could get your money back stripping it (1 headlight costs $300-$600), somewhat rare only around 77,000 were made. Crossfire interiors are noted for smelling like crayons.

I wanted a Crossfire so bad when they were new but they were too expensive. Now the price is reasonable but I understand parts are a nightmare because MB won’t fix them and current Chrysler dealers don’t want to work on them because they are bas a MB underneath.

The “Ranger” on that F-150 is actually a trim package, growing up we had a 1978 Ford F-150 XLT with both the Ranger and explorer packages which I believe the Ranger is an interior pkg and the Explorer pkg was an exterior striping package

Bad news about the Crossfire is that you probably can't even get a headliner. Only Crossfire I'd buy is an SRT6.
Children are SOOOOO much worse than pets.
Main reason is cost of charging was drastically increased by Tesla. Also you’ll find many charging stations overcrowded now. Combine those two reasons on top of the Twitter trolls dumping their cars and there you go.
No one is dumping their Tesla because of Supercharging costs. At worst, in some states, have their charging prices increased to where a full charge is equal to a tank of gas. Probably 95% of people who own one charge at home so most everyone still benefits from low refueling costs.
@@aaronsvendsen1938 you’re talking to someone who owned 3 of these. One Model S P90D with Insanity, one Model 3 Perf, and a Model 3 LR. As one of MANY owners who travel this is 100% why we dumped them. Cars cost the same to fill up as ICE, purchase price is FAR above comparable ICE, body lines look like a kindergartener with a crayon built it, build quality of a 90s Hyundai, and more cars than superchargers. But I have no idea what I’m talking about. Im just a used car dealer and long time EV lover…
@@AutoAuctionRebuildsFor 6 years, I’ve owned and still own several Teslas have many friends with Teslas and am part of many Tesla groups. Unless someone only charges their car using Supercharging 100% of the time in expensive areas of the country then no one is dumping them because of the cost to charge. You are literally the only person I’ve ever heard say that. I go on road trips several times a year and supercharging still beats a tank of gas. The reason they’re cheaper right now is because the tax credits start back up in 2 weeks and people are waiting until then to take delivery. Tesla is even giving discounts and free supercharging miles for people to take delivery before 12/31 because they’re aware of what buyers are doing.

No surprise there lol. Thankful I dumped those Teslas and went with a TRX. It's great to fill up in 5 minutes and be back on the road again.

You may be able fill up in 5 minutes but it takes me 5 seconds to plug in at home and costs me about $4 for a full charge. But you already knew that.

I love this. I work here doing detailing, and Thursdays usually I jump or drive for A lane. I see you around a lot. The dog hair in the Chevy, that’s the worst thing to clean. So cool to watch this stuff. Also it’s like $30 for us to clean that for ya just saying 😊

Is it just me or does the Bronco kind of remind you of the International Scout of many years ago? Personally I don't think Jeep has a lot to worry about quite yet? And Yup on the use of the Ranger model name on the full size Ford pickup.
Huge fan of yours and follow all your videos. Some of us keep saying buy Toyota/Lexus or Honda/Acura. Easy sell with less headaches, but I suppose that might make the videos boring. You're a glutton for punishment buying these junkers, but it keeps us viewers laughing! All that said, I'd be doing the same dumb things like that if I had a dealership. Car guys at an auction can go all ADHD with all the cool toys. I've flipped some turds and made good profit on things that I thought were total junk. There's a buyer for everything. I've got the same problem with my 2006 silverado 1500 4x4 5.3. Blower motor resistor they say but I tried a amazon one and it worked for 30 seconds then when back to wide open. I ordered a legit 319.00 one and waiting for it to arrive this week.
I bought one for 19.99 and it now runs 24/7 even when truck is off 😂

I heard there's something new about the Tesla's that you have to subscribe to a certain thing on their website apparently to unlock the extended range and if you don't subscribe which you have to pay for the subscription it keeps it locked in a short range because you're locked into it and not subscribed

As a person whose a huge fan and owns one himself, I just wanted to correct you real quick, the Charger is the 4 door. The challenger is a 2 door. Btw my charger srt8 is for sale. I recently purchased a 2018 Tahoe Premier fully loaded to the Max. Issue is I have replace the motor mounts, front struts, sway bar, and the famous/ not so famous 6L80. I’ve lost faith in Chevy.

The real reason why teslas are down in price is that tesla makes 31% on each car, so it can afford to drop prices. It has taken about 5 years to get this efficient. Lower prices are going to bring in a whole herd of buyers that were waiting for the price to drop before they buy. Other EV makers are not as efficient in making cars so they cannot drop prices.

Like others have said on the Tesla's....the tax credit is the anchor. It's going to get worse too. $25k is the magic number for the used portion of the upcoming tax credit. I think you're going to be hard pressed to get more then $25k for an out of warranty Tesla.
I bought my used Tesla Model S in June. I could buy it today for about $10k less, he hit it on the head. I can't be upset because I made a nice chunk on the BMW I parted with (I'd have lost money today) AND my interest rate got locked in before they skyrocketed. No way I could get under 5% today. Worst case scenario it's a wash with me saving money every month over the BMW.
In California they said something about not having enough electricity to power Evs even tho they been the main state pushing them. China been saying EVs are a flop theres no way a infrastructure could be built to charges everyones cars.
@Mark 8:36 ....I find the China comment hard to believe. They make more EV's, buy more EV's and have more infrastructure then the rest of the world combined. In fact, if the rest of the world doesn't get on it pronto China will have sole control of the ENTIRE EV market. We might already be there. The California comment has been taken completely out of context for years now. IIRC the original comment was that if EVERYONE plugged in to charge, at the same exact time, it would be an issue. Funny thing is, if EVERYONE stopped for gas at the same exact time there would also be an issue. It's never happening.
