How has this generator been performing after Hurricane Ian? I am currently looking to getting the new A-iPower GXS7100iRD 7100W Dual Fuel Inverter Generator it is currently available on Costco site.
We are still waiting for power to be restored and the 3800 ipower generator has been absolutely the best hurricane 🌀 investment I could have made. It runs two portable ac units, a freezer, the refrigerator and lights, we also cook and make coffee. It is outside purring like a kitten and now has ove 100 hours on the synthetic oil I put in it. Hopefully we will get power today and the I will change the oil and park it. Thank you for watching and commenting. Have a wonderful weekend.
That Costco deal is great. Would really like to have it. Ours is back, parked in standby. Picked up a bluetti solar generator and two panels to supplement it. Have a wonderful New Year.
I didn't even look, I'm not planning on lifting this generator. Either way, the full tube adapter is very handy for both draining and filling. Thank you for watching and commenting. Have a wonderful weekend. 😊
@@silverandblackentertainment yes, I think so....I don't remember seeing an opening in the bottom of the housing. I know for sure my iPower 2300's had an opening.
@@htnowpro you know I was thinking maybe it would’ve been best for you to try to drain the oil from the bottom, because the whole point of changing break in oil is to get any metal shavings from the bottom. I could be wrong though maybe that pump got the shavings.
That is the best way for sure, you are correct 👌. Part of break in is to seat the rings, until they seat, excessive gas can dilute the oil. Changing the oil serves both purposes. I'm confident both concerns were met. I had the pump readily available and I didn't have a drain pan and I'm old enough to not want to lift 🙃 this chunky generator. I'm you made this point for others 👏. Great points. Thank you.
Yes, it has a drain plug. I didn't have a drain pan. I just used what I had on hand. Got the job done ✔️. Thank you for and commenting. Have a great week. 👍

Isn’t there a oil drain plug at the bottom?

@@htnowpro I have the same generator, but I don’t have the fill tube adapter. That’s why I asked. I guess I have to do some lifting 💪🏽😂

How many hours you can use it before changing the oil? Some one tell me 50
It's a personal choice in my opinion. I ran mine for about 8 hours.
Thanks and another question where did you get the full tube adapter? Is it available on Amazon or ebay the you known
Is that 1
