Locomotive (LOCO) change at Erode junction railway station / ஈரோடு சந்திப்பில் loco மாற்றுதல்

This video shows how to change Diesel locomotive (loco) to electric loco at Erode junction railway station.
The Diesel locomotive 40444 WDP4D was decoupled from the compartments and was being coupled with electric locomotive 22258 WAP4.
Electric Loco Shed, Erode is one of the premiere engine sheds located in Erode in the Indian state of Tamilnadu. It is located along the jolarpettai soranur line about 1 km to the east of Erode junction, under the administrative control of Salem railway division of southern railway zone.

Erode junction was around 100 years old. Built by British, the passenger subway was first of its kind. There are many specialities in Erode.
1. It had steam, diesel loco shed. The steam shed has been converted into eloco shed. It has a huge water tank just in front of the eloco shed, which is still supplies to junction n railway colony.
