This both metro station is part of Chennai Metro Phase 2 Corridor 3 of Madhavaram Milk Colony - Siruseri Sipcot section. It is underground station. Contractor : L&T & RVNL
Chetpet metro station work is progressing adjacent to Chetpet railway station. So it will be an important transit station . Tunneling work recently started from Chetpet metro station towards Kilpauk metro station.

Alapakkam to Alwarthirungar stretch both Corridor 4 & 5 as integrated station
Finally Madhavaram Milk Colony ( both Corridor 3 & 5 as originating station ).

Already cmrl phase 1 crossing 3.3 lakhs..Blue line.very crowded between Central and thousand lights.during peak hours...hope they have better planning to handle phase 2 crowd also...

Ha kilpak already 1 station is there in green line. So this line how it will go?

@@NambiValavan bro, it will go just cross or just in same alignment. If it will go in same line means, traffic will be blocked at least for a month.
@@smkumarphone If existing phase 1 tunnel in horizontal position then Phase 2 metro tunnel will go below ( cross as ) as vertical position at Kilpauk
Video is not clear about how both lines will interested change. Please make another video.
Underground work can't be cover unless until Chennai metro release breakthrough update officially. If they update officially will share in community post
@@NambiValavan ha bro, I did not ask you go into work sight. I asked you. How the track will go under the green line. It will cross the line or it will go just below. It is go just bellow means. Traffic will be blocked for months for safety reasons.
I am a daily user of metro from Anna Nagar tower to high court. So only I ask this.
