  • I try to set aside 8 minutes everyday to do this routine. No matter how busy I get, or if I've already done or will do other forms of training & exercise, 8 minutes is easy enough to squeeze in.

    Great video. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this myself. I’ve been struggling to get consistent work/reps in because of work. A little practice everyday will go a long way instead of one session every couple days.

      I relate to that! And definitely agree. Consistency can go such a long way, in my opinion. 🙏☺️

    I know the length of the stick should be around 26 to 28 inches long. My question what would be the shortest length of stick you would for trading and self defense. I think you could carry a smaller pair of sticks than the traditional lengths.
    Please advise.
    Thanks.

  • @ShaneOriginStory
    @ShaneOriginStory 3 роки тому +1

    I notice when you're shadow sparring you hold the stick with almost no punyo, and when you're free flowing you have a pretty exaggerated punyo most of the time. I assume that's intentional? Is it for more reach in sparring and more speed in flow?

    • @daniel_bernas
      @daniel_bernas  3 роки тому +1

      yes! :) nice catch! Check out my video on how I grip my stick where I explain it more. :) But you pretty much got it. ☺️
