I'm 70, given a pair of sticks by a parkour partner in 2012, never used them, recovered from cancer last year, skinny and out of muscle, at the 7 minute mark in this tutorial and needed to rest. Make me strong, keep me active doing something that is fun, outside, and not in a gym. Dang, I am in for the haul. Pleased to be a subscriber.
Keep going RW Moore! And well done beating cancer. Put in the practice everyday and these get more and more fun!
Obrigado !
Obrigado !
Nice one, Mr Moore...swish those sticks and enjoy your re-birth, and rests!
Get some RW
“Then you have entered, THE FREE FLOW BABY!”...He makes this look so much fun. We need positivity and fun in our lives right now. Learning how to protect ourselves and our families in a fun and happy way is awesome.
I agree..
Truth.
Thank you for loving our martial arts
Arnis is a favorite mar trial art here in the Philippines
Good work out I like also passing the stick to the left hand and repeating on that side
started my Filipino martial arts training back in the mid 1980s and everything this man is showing here in this video is for beginners to advance very functional in the streets and in the woods.👍👍👍
Idol kita pre , from Philippines
Gracias por tus videos. Son muy buenos!!
always good to see simple strikes combined with foot work. Gives me things to think about and experiment with. Thanks!
Great demonstration... 30 years ago I studied Kyokushinki and Kuntaw in the Philippines. Been a long time sense i practiced KALI. thank you for making this 63 year old man start practicing again.
All the 5 drill videos are the best for me. Thanks for doing them
As always: Thank you!
Such is great, i love exercising with it, thank you!
Thanks, I totally enjoy your videos!!!
Excellent video thank you for your knowledge
Practising everyday. In love. Thanks man.
Love it! Getting from holding the instrument for the first time to improvisation is something too many teachers leave to chance and you've broken it down so simply and creatively here. Thanks!
Thanks so much! Kali center
The way you flow is amazing I'm excited to start learning!
Clear. Humble. Giving. Honest. Very pleased. Bravo!
Right on, I liked all your tutorial videos and appreciate all the good contact keep it up
Thank you very much Master Paul...very helpful to upgrade my skills!!!
I used to practice with wooden bokken swords for a few years now. And while I was laying in bed last night watching UA-cam videos. I accidentally stumbled upon one of your double stick drill videos. And I instantly became interested. I saved several of your kali stick drill videos to a play list. So I can rewatch them several times. And I also ordered my first set of kali sticks last night after watching your videos. I should be getting my new sticks next week sometime. I even saved some of your staff drill videos. And eventually I'll be ordering a staff that unscrews and disconnect in the middle. So I can use it to practice both staff moves and Kali stick moves with one weapon. And eventually when I'm able to I'm going to purchase your kali stick drill video downloads parts 1 and 2. Thank you for making these self defense videos. And please keep them coming.
Thanks a lot for your videos, thanks to You I start in kali year and a half ago, I'm a solo training but as You Say just with practice is posible to be better.
I'm from Morocco and I really love all your vidéos... that help me to improve my Kali skills. Many thanks for sharing. Respect
Happy to be a subscriber. 1st Belt in TKD and time to expand my horizons. Love the single stick drills so far. Most excited. 61 year old guy with bad joints, but hey, motion is lotion; I need to keep the body flowing and the Kali is going to work for me. Always been fun for many years, but need to flow into other patterns. Thanks. Will be lurking. Respect!!
Tour brilliant at what you do Paul.
These drills are great for my movement , cognitive ability and your techniques are very cathartic .
Keep going warrior !
Thankyou 🙏
🤺
Super fun!!! Putting time in works! I really struggled with free flows (ie I couldn't) when I started months ago. I revisited this today and FREE FLOW flowed!!! Thank you Paul Ingram.
Wow this is 100% the best drill for learning how to spar and for combat. No drill better, 100%!! Thanks Mandala Paul!!
When I was young I was flowing. I set it aside for years. It's good to get back to basics again. 59 yrs old
Paul, many thanks for another one of your excellent and informative videos. There are many unqualified so called instructors on You Tube right now who are incorrectly teaching the martial arts disciplines to the masses. It is really wonderful to have The Kali Center. Paul, I really enjoy practicing Kali and how you are able to logically integrate the didactical teachings of Kali as you parallel those teachings with the clinical aspect thru " Drills / Hand to Hand Combat / Weapons Training " in a real time scenario of workouts that you instill in me. Paul, please keep them coming along.
Awsome video thanks man 👍🏽
Good stuff, as usual. Thanks for rejuvenating my training.
Good insight into training practices and the techniques are explained easily for beginners.

💙💚💛 from the philippines
I remember the first time i experienced the elusive mystical CHI flow that Chinese martial artist talk about so much but FMA rarely mention
i was practicing my drills once treating on the fluidity of each strike for the space of a half hour when suddenly things seemed to slow down. even though I knew I was moving at full speed it seemed like I was moving through water. Each combination was flowing smooth and effortless I didn't have to THINK about the combinations they were just THERE!
Love the channel, quiet practitioner of kali here.
Intense Guro Paul, lookin good!
Hey man I just started this weak, mixing BJJ, TKD with arnis, great channel. Greetings from Texas City.

hello kalista. i like to watch you. im 60 years practioner of FMA. I will start moving again.
Beautiful my friend.. flow like water
Great lesson Paul . I have been Finnish off the drilled with stricks and slashing movement with the end of the stick. I have not seen you use the short end of the stick. Except for stripping a weapon of someone.
I love kali I work out with kali guys all time mostly its modern arnis this simple style can hold its own with the best of them for sticks of that size around 27 inches give or take two or three inches . Kali is excellent a good a style top of the line upper 1%.
i tried your drills thank u....
your good brother.
