Joe’s Pizza is HANDS DOWN the best NY style pizza in LA. I eat there once a week and it is consistently the most authentic NY slice in town, regardless of which of their 3 locations (Hwood, WeHo, Sherman Oaks) you choose. Besides their plain cheese slice, their white slice is probably my favorite single thing to eat on the entire planet.
If in Burbank, try Dinos pizza; been around for 40 years. The Lasagna pizza ( ricotta, local Italian sausage, meat balls, tomatoes, Romano cheese)get it twice we’ll done so crust is a little chared, don’t think the ovens get too high.Youll enjoy it, make sure to put basil on it😀
It seems to me from these videos that L.A. mainly likes it`s pizza in a "bowl" with heavy bread around the sides which is closer to the true italian way. I like thin crust all the way to the edge. I did like the chicago style pizza in one segment but the pizza from the trucks not from traditional restaurant is probably more to my liking🍕😋
Most of these are horrible spots I could tell he's just going through most of the fancy pizza parlors and saying their some of the "best" this is a joke.
I enjoyed most of these pizza places. I wouldnt list them if i didnt like them. If you feel there are better ones, then let us know so we can all try it out.
I’ve been eating pizza for years and I’ve had one problem, the sauce, it’s either too much sauce or not enough and that makes the pizza trash or good. Gotta try these places myself to see which is better. I’m looking forward to it
What do you think of Mulberry street pizzeria? I've heard they have some of the best "New York style" pizzas. There main location is in Beverly Hills but they also have one in Sherman Oaks.
I've been to Mulberry's a while back. I don't really remember what it was like, but I guess it didn't make enough of an impression for me to include it in this list. I'll retry it again someday.
Mulberry Street is awesome. The actress Cathy Moriarty (Raging Bull) owns it. I also recommend Joe Peeps in Valley Village, Victorio's in N. Hollywood and Little Toni's in N. Hollywood, for that area. Traffic is crazy in LA so some of these spots would take an hour to get to from the valley.
I still have to try Black Bird. I believe it is good. Thanks for the feedback. Please continue to follow my channel to see other great food videos this year!
I have to give it up on the Hollywood Pies, pies are 🔥. I’d definitely say that Braazo’s in DTLA and Pasta Roma on Figueroa down the street from USC has some of the best NY style pizza I’ve ever had. I’m probably Pizza Muncher #1. Try it if you ever get a chance.
786 Degrees - Sapori has a second location in NE Pasadena, near the Pasadena-Altadena border. Small neighborhood shops, Bloomfield Ice Cream a few doors down. It’s walking distance for our family - we love it!
Try Dinos pizza in Burbank, The Lasagne pizza( ricotta cheese, local Italian sausage, meatballs, tomatoes and Romano cheese) get it well done and have them put basil on it, you’ll enjoy 👍
@THE ONE Just a head's up; when writing a sentence, you're supposed to capitalize the first word and place a period after the last. And the correct usage in this case is 'anyone', not anybody. Anyone with a brain would have known that.
There's a cheap spot in highland park called Folliero's. The businesses in that area are currently getting out priced by a lot of gentrifiers but it's definitely a historic landmark for the neighborhood. most of the guys working there have been there forever.
Try Joe’s in Hwood, WeHo or Sherman Oaks and then lmk if “pizza is pizza”. I promise you won’t regret it. Try the white slice and a plain cheese slice.
@@josephmembreno8782 Ya, it's a bit pricy. I'll give you that. Fucking tastes good though. And I like that it's more of a detroit style pizza than everyone doing the brooklyn style.
