Thank you so much for your video's! Our son is almost 3 years old and on early intervention for a diagnosis. We cry a lot, but also try the best thing we can do for him. We love him so much!! Your words and video's really helps us through this emotional rollercoaster. Our son also had antibiotics after birth because my membranes have been broken for more than 72 hours. Here in the Netherlands they think this could have had a impact. Thank you for your inspiring words! Dylan is amazing and you are an amazing mother!
Most people ask questions on causes because they want to try to help others, help their next child and know if it could have been prevented. Not to pay attention to this doesn’t help other children or parents. It’s great that you changed your routine on what you did with the other children you have birthed and I hope it helped with the births. God bless you and you quest to guide others with children in their autism journey.
We did special pre school mainly for speech, had an amazing public school experience for elementary (we are us) and for middle school we returned to a private special needs school. I am so grateful for each every teacher that has helped us a long the way. You do the best thing until its not working, then you find the new right thing.
My 2 year old son is on the pathway. Your videos are a comfort to me. We're currently trying to juggle a newborn and a little boy who can take 6 hours to go to sleep. It can be tough having so little sleep but I love my children so much.
guineabunnymama oh love this is the toughest part for you. It gets easier I promise hold on grab little bits of rest where you can and be gentle with your self lots of love x
My son just turned 8 years old and was recently diagnosed with Autism. I feel frustrated because we always knew something wasn't right or he was different, but was always told he just had sensory issues. I love all of your videos and even though I am in the US, they really help and make me feel like I'm not alone.
My son is 20months old, diagnosed with GDD with a pending ASD diagnosis. We can relate to so much of yours and Dylan’s story, down to the gut health gluten and dairy intolerances. THANK YOU for this channel.
I needed this. So relatable for ASD parents/carers. I’ve had so much anxiety over my daughter recently, the older she gets the harder it’s getting. I have no one that can relate personally. This video and the one you covered on the lady called Ross… I really needed this. Thank you ❤️
I love your channel and your family. Our son Jaxson is almost 3 years old and he also has autism. To see your family, your daily routines and everything in between, gives my husband and I so much hope for the future. Thank you!
Thank you for your work. I found you on UA-cam just a week ago. My nine year old son was diagnosed with autism two months ago and we are trying to figure it all out and your channel is so helpful.
I absolutely love your channel I myself have a disability but not autism but I find ur channel and u just super inspiring just by actually being brave enough to talk the truth and not let anyone stand in the way of it
New to this channel. What a blessing it is for me at this moment. So many questions I have. I have a 6 yr old grandson with autism and is nonverbal. His mom passed away almost a month ago and now as the only grandmother in the family he will be in my care while my son, his father works. When I watch your videos is like, get a pen and notebook and take notes 📝. I’ll be honest with you, I am scared for the future. I pray that I will be able to get all the right resources he needs.
I just found your channel and watched all of your videos. I love your content, very honest and informative. I have a 6 year old girl with severe autism, she is non verbal, still in nappies and absolutely amazing!! 😀💖💖. Like you, I took a while to come to terms with it, but once I accepted it and embraced autism, life became so much easier. I have 4 kids aged 17, 12, 9 and 6. Only the 6 year old has ASD, the other 3 are neurotypical. I have already learnt so much from your videos, keep them coming. Much love from Australia 💖💖💖
You are a truly amazing mom and an inspiration for me to raise my child. I’m sure you heard it from many. I don’t know what would I have done or how would I have addressed some issues with my kid. I have implemented many strategies shared by you and I love all 3 of your children. Lots of love and gratitude ♥️♥️♥️
My autism was caused by a rare brain condition called septo-optic dysplasia. Septo-optic dysplasia also caused me to be totally blind. It also caused a few other things. I also go for the natural things as well. I don’t agree with medication a lot of the time.
Great video! You really answered aaalll the questions I had. And you are such a cool, lovely person. Your kids are so lucky to have you as their Mommy.
Just love love love you and your beautiful family. thank you! we need more positive people like you in this planet. I will be looking forward to watch your next video.
A lot of things the same - big hugs! Firstly, I also found a sibling was the best thing for my autistic son - he instantly went into big brother mode, with a sense of maturity; it also made parenting easier as they get a bit older, as they can play together. It took a huge load off me to be his sole source of attention. Secondly, I had Alex genetically tested as part of his autism diagnosis - and he did come back as having a chromosomal abnormality, contributing to his autism. It’s called a “chromosomal micro array” (it’s just a blood single blood test, that gets sent for gene study), and was suggested by his paediatrician. The results actually took a load of weight and self blame off my shoulders. It wasn’t anything I’d done or didn’t do, it wasn’t my fault, it wasn’t what I ate or drank, or my fault that he was delayed in speaking or walking - yes I blamed myself that maybe I wasn’t a very good mother; it definitely wasn’t immunisation; he was born with it, he was born this way. Thirdly, my boys also attend a specialist school, and it’s the best thing for them early on, as they get almost one on one therapy based teaching, and the confidence to engage socially amongst their peers. In Australia, if they get to an advanced level, they do start to integrate into a mainstream school. My little man was in second grade, advanced in maths and science, when they moved him up a class and was integrated with mainstream school two days a week. You are doing great, love you!
Just discovered this channel! Thank you to Tara and her family for all these! I will be a loyal watcher from here on out! You're clearly an AMAZING mother, and I love these videos because I can relate to some of this stuff directly! My son was just diagnosed recently. He is very social and is, I don't know, more "higher functioning" . . . if that's the right term? (I'm still figuring out how to position people on this spectrum. Help, please.) But he has a lot of odd behavior, quirks, repetitiveness, etc. I am totally new to this and learning as I go! And I hope to join this online community as well and interact!
Hey there thanks for subscribing so nice to meet you. That’s great your son is social and wants friends dylan does too. Gosh learning the lingo is so hard as it’s forever changing. It’s now Called a spectrum as even though in some areas they can seem high functioning in some areas they struggle in others . Dylan is verbal and social but struggles massively in areas . I’m so pleased you have joined us and I love this community we are building to help each other . Always here if you want to chat . X
@@ComingHometoAutism Great, thanks! Always happy to chat, and if there's any way I can help others, please let me know! Oh, and one more question. (Because I am legit new to this.) So it's not like you have *one* place on the spectrum? You don't like put your "X" or whatever on the line at a certain point and say, basically, "You are here."? You have areas of the spectrum and score differently in each area? Interesting...
Oh, and one MORE question, if that's alright, haha. Sometimes my son says things he knows he shouldn't. Like "I want coal for Christmas." Or "I don't love you." He'll immediately take them back and INSIST he didn't mean them. He knows they're wrong/false, but it's like he cannot resist saying them for whatever reason. Any knowledge or experience with that?
Hey no there is no one place it’s all just the spectrum now. It was upsetting many people with autism who were considered high functioning because they could talk but they were struggling in other areas. Your son is saying things for reaction it sounds like. Dylan says random things like this too. He doesn’t even know what is saying half the time . X
Chris did you know that there are more than 77.000.000 cases of autism worldwide, mainly caused by vaccines ?....here in YT at least two Christians who talked to Jesus in their dreamvisions, asking Him about the vaccine, Jesus answered that the DNA changing Covid vacc is (also) the Mark Of The Beast (next to RFID chip and tattood ID) Jesus additionally said that - one gets a demonic DNA, and will therefore not be redeemable anymore - Besides a recent research/study done in Israel, on the Covid Vaccine, revealed that is causes infertility to males! (depopulation agenda) ... The presidents of several African countries, like Ghana, Nigeria have openly exposed that they have been bribed with billions and billions of dollars to force a mandatory DNA altering vaccination on the African population...(the mainstream media have been totally silent about that !) Still, why would anyone accept any Vacc. that has not even been tested at least for 6 years, as they should !!!..even preferably 10-12 years before being used on humans ..besides, have there been done any independent studies on any particular vaccin, according "the golden standard"- done "double blinded placebo tests"?...Folks, the long term effects of the Covid vaccin are TOTALLY NOT proven at all!!!! Still the majority of humanity will "wellcome" the Covid vacc. and get altered DNA, like sheep lead to be slaughtered....It is like what Jesus said about the days of Noah...at Noah's time the world population did also undergo altering of DNA....due to the demonic fallen angels/ Nephilim... Besides there is no time left, the DNA changing VACCINATION (also MARK OF THE BEAST !) is according CDC expected to begin (1st)of November in US, as well as the start of the Covid vacc in Israel ! ....does nobody wonder, if the Lord will allow that to happen to innocent kids, and true worshippers? ..Watchmen, open your eyes ! ... we are at "THE MOMENT"of a LOUD 📯trumpet!📯. "THE MOMENT" that truly devoted worshippers, and "all KIDS below 12 years old" will be lifted up🌈 TIME IS ABSOLUTELY RUNNING OUT !!! why at the moment ?? ...Noah went into the ARK 🌈OCT31 !!!... Last fully ripened"FIG" HARVEST is🌈OCT31 !!!......THE NEW YEAR starts when the FULL MOON is in VIRGO, and the SUN in ARIES, so THIS COMING🌈OCT31-1NOV is THE TRUE FEAST OF 📯📯📯TRUMPETS📯📯📯..... also 7th seal opened 🌈OCT31!!! ...the extremely Rare Full Blue"HARVEST"🌐moon🌈 OCT31!!!....According a very compelling Enoch calendar, 🌈OCT31 is the TRUE FEAST OF TABERNACLES!!! ....... Like hundreds of mainly Christians, I also had dreamvisions revealing 🌈OCT31, as the AWESOME DAY OF THE LORD !!!! (all happening at Halloween☠️OCT31!!) ......... What about the CBS movie of 1994, "WHITHOUT WARNING" premiered 🌈OCT31!!! It is about RAPTURE+DISASTERS happening unexpected 🌈OCT31!!!!..... Watch also the profound upload: "The Return Of The King": "Feast of Trumpets/Yom Kippur/ TABERNACLES/ on same day 🌈 OCT31!!!" (Even the church of Mormons claiming 2020 being the year of the great🌈HARVEST!!) "And I will raise him up at the LAST DAY " (the BODY of Christ, the truly devoted Christians!)🌈All coincidence? Don't think so !!! .. Will Jesus and millions of angels come (at) ONCE IN A BLUE🌐MOON?"...(and did Jesus not say .."signs in the moon.....etc", related to his Coming ?)
I send lots of love as well to these people, who are pestering your family! We need to show compassion to these disturbed souls. You are sharing so much and helping so much so we can raise our autistic children. Thank you so so so so much! When I see Dylan baby, he reminds me so much of mine :)
Thank you for setting up this channel because it, s very helpful for me and my wife parenting our almost six years old daughter having classic autism . We learned a lot already but can't learn enough and will watch all of your videos to help my daughter the best we can. Thanks again and greetings from the Netherlands.
Hi I just start watching your channel, I have grandson age 3 who has autism. I am learning a lot about this subject and you are a brave amazing MOM. God bless you for the effort taking care of your kids, and having the time to put your experience in these videos which help lots of parents.
After receiving the covid vaccine myself, I experienced an adverse event with permanent disabling health consequences. It directly effected my gut health and caused brain inflammation, among other things. As someone who experienced adverse vaccine event, as an adult, I can say that it would not surprise me if there is a connection between vaccines and autism.
Thanks for your brave comment. Unfortunately you’ll be shut down and ostracized if you share your experience with vaccination injury. My son was verbal and seemingly typical developing until I got him his mmr vaccine. Completely lost eye contact and ability to respond. Stopped eating almost everything. Became chronically constipated to the point of being hospitalized. That’s my experience but no one will listen. So sad I can’t undo that choice. I’m not saying all vaccines will do this. But my experience was the two year vaccination appointment did it for my son.
I am from Pakistan. Its hard for autistic children here. There are good institutions but they are super expensive. And there is little or no help and guidance around on daily basis. So, here i am learning from a mother because it comes down to us eventually.
I am from Pakistan as well living in Australia n having a daughter with autism n yess i can feel you my sister Its extremely hard to find best for such kids in our country
Thank you so much for your happy outlook towards autism. Are you able to do a post or reply to me on what sort of funding the UK covers for autism and did you have to self fund a lot of the occupational and speech therapists? Where in the UK do you feel has the best support and networks for autism? Thank you!
hey there the Uk is great for funding, we have had to pay for a few other therapies our selves but the main ones are covered. there are long waiting lists but get your name down and dont stop calling. he who pesters the most wins ;-) i feel wandsworth in london was very supportive but i am now in brighton and they are good down here too x
Coming Home to Autism Thank you so much for replying! We have a 6 month old baby who is showing major signs of autism and were wondering what therapies you felt have been the most effective in the early days of Dylan’s life? We will be trying to get into occupational and speech therapy as soon as possible but anything else you can recommend and insightful info for us would be amazing. Thanks again!
I just discovered your videos and I'm enjoying them. Thank you for making them! My own daughter showed many symptoms of autism at 12-14 months old; with the help of "alternative" medical practitioners, special diet, etc., she turned around and developed nearly normally. In my search for answers, I learned some interesting things that I'd like to pass on to you and others. First, a psychiatrist who had treated hundreds of autistic children told me two important things: "You've got to fix her gut. Get her on a really good probiotic with as many species of beneficial bacteria as possible." and "*Many* babies given antibiotics at birth [as my child was for possible meconium in lungs] become autistic." Another doctor, himself the father of an autistic child, told me: "The babies given antibiotics at birth grow up with nothing but clostridia and candida in their guts, unless we intervene." The third doctor, a specialist in autism said: "Babies with imbalanced gut flora are far more vulnerable to vaccine injury. Your baby already had one very bad reaction to vaccination. She should not receive any more vaccines, of any type, at any time. We already know her immune system will not respond normally to them." So you are right on target when you talk about gut health being important! For my child, the GAPS diet (which is gluten and dairy free) was a life-saver. I'm sure your calm, positive videos will help many parents! I'm looking forward to watching more of them.
I have a autistic son that he got misdiagnosed at birth and put it on 3-4 kind of antibiotics on the same time.I always think about those treatment and medicine might something to do with my son’s problem. May I have your email or contact number?
@@joyhoss7804 I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner! I think if youtube notified me of your comment, the notification must have been caught in my spam filter, which I seldom check. You are welcome to email me at EllenW70@yahoo.com.
Thank you for making these videos, i just found you. I have a 18 year old son with autism and a 10 year old daughter with adhd and a 3.5 year old little boy with autism. This time its very different with my little boy, as a single mother its a one hell of a journey. My kids are amazing with all that they are and do every day. I am glad i found your channel, i hope to learn more to help my family. And enjoy yours, thank you 😊❤
I didn’t know I had autism until recently. My dad passed it to me. I only found out he has autism after I found out I had autism. I found it out through my half-cousin who is more on the spectrum than my dad and I am. My half-cousin and I have different grandfathers but the same grandmother.
We cant get stuck on what caused our children’s autism, i know its so easy to do though i did the same questioning. I know that if i dwelled on it too much i would go mad. I love your prospective I couldn’t agree with you more.
Loved this... I have a soon to be four on spectrum. I watch your videos whenever I am stressed during this journey. Please do more videos ....lots of love
anjali sinha thank you so much and I’m so pleased you watch my videos and they make you feel less stressed .. it keeps me going when I sometimes feel like doing no more x
I'm driving myself mad. My daughter is about to turn 7 and she's getting spectrum results in 7 days. She has adhd and sensory processing disorder. They strongly believe she has it mild. Im all over yourube and the internet trying g to figure it out. Her milestones she met extremely early. Has a great vocabulary early on. She has 2 younger brothers who im scared for now. My 2 year old especially. I see sensory issues with him but yet again met all milestones extremely early. Great vocabulary. His first word at 8 months clear as day was cookie. And still loves cookies. Lol.
I commented last night, live in Australia. I have a 31 year old daughter who is doing quite well. She was diagnosed at nearly 4 after her kinder teacher noted what we & her doctor had seen. The blind came down. Then she was diagnosed with a maybe, by the Autism experts here. Her biggest problem is awareness of danger. She cannot use public transport. She cannot read & write proficiently, but she has very good language. We were lucky she was always even tempered. I agree about the blame thing. It took us a long time to understand what caused her problem, which was in her family history. The genetic test interesting, I didn’t care either.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Your a wonderful mama. Vaccines may not cause it, but they for sure are known to damage children as seen by vaccine courts. Other environmental factors like geoengineering are hurting us all and leaving heavy metals in our bodies. I seem to recall my son had his shots within two weeks of birth so that's super early and can make things very hard to discern. Knowledge is power and I'd tell every expecting mom to look into ingredients before getting them bc this knowledge can help other children and families.
Couldn't agree more I wish I'd known before having my wee boi vaccinated but it never felt right at 4mnths same nite as vaccines he got rushed to hospital n that was the kick up the arse I needed to question n research everything n I've not vaccinated him since n won't be again he'll be 2 in 3wks although there is some issues with him n waiting to get him tested for these I know if I'd carried on vaccinating he wouldn't be where he is today it isn't normal for ppl to want to be inject babies with fermaldahyde it's for dead bodies or aborted fetous tissue dead body tissue into babies evil individuals who make these now they want to chip them to in the guise of coronA vaccine look into it coz thts their nxt step bill Gates n co id2020 coronA vaccine luciferase enzyme RFID chips n vaccine passports ppl need to really do their research on this coz it's on the way n the government etc tell us it's bout coronA absolutely not 🙏🏴
I'm happy 2 have found Ur Channel! I've learned a lot already! I'm a Grammy of a 11 month old Precious Grand-daughter that lives with Us as well as Our Lovely Daughter! I've had some concerning thoughts 💭 so I've begun researching! Thanks 4 sharing! 😃
I am currently 31 weeks pregnant and my 2 and a half year old toddler shows signs of ASD. so I am currently pursuing a diagnosis in order to get access to more help. he is currently nonverbal and hes mamas little boy as he has a hard time connecting with anyone else including my husband (step father who has been in his life since he was 1). he does not seem aware that i am pregnant at all and i am concerned with the transition from only child to older brother. How did dylan react to siblings to begin with? was there any regression? we also currently co sleep and I have been doing so since birth and i exclusivley breastfed him till 17 months. I was also wondering how to transition him to his own bed though he is non verbal. it gives me severe anxiety to imagine him away from me as i am VERY protective of him and am always worried something will happen to him due to my own anxiety.
BerryAdelineBombshel oh lovely I know this is hard. So it all slowly. Make him part of his room so show him all his favourite things in there a cozy bed calming colours on the wall. Be excited he will pick up on it. Even though he is non-verbal he will still understand you so if you say “this is ........ room “ and then show him your room again. You can show pictures of a baby in mummy tummy from a book. Dylan didn’t really regress he didn’t really understand I was pregnant at all when I brought the baby home I told him the baby was his. It was only when Luca was about two years old that he start to notice him 🤣 But it honestly was the best thing we ever did for Dylan as Luca is his best friend and understand him. Dylan also potty trained the same time as Luca as well so a lot of ways Luca bou put Dylan on. Please try not to worry I know it’s easier said than done but you need to look after yourself now. If you need to move him before baby comes do so early rather than later as you don’t want him to feel pushed out as soon as the baby comes along . Make his room his favourite place he wants to be so when you do the bedtime routine do some common games with him on the floor read some books in there that’ kind of thing. It’s all going to work out . You got this x
I appreciate your videos. They are so enlightening. I have had my great grandson for two years and he was diagnosed at about 18 months. He was born 2 months premature. I noticed when he was around a year old that he tapped repeatedly everything he touched or played with. He is four years old now, he loves to stack things especially his building blocks I bought him, his favorite toy. He is still wearing diapers. I was wondering how you potty trained Dylan. We are a household of females. He talks but most of it is repetition. He still babbles a lot. He loves to spin also and likes to be chased and scared like your son. He is very sensitive and cries at the drop of a hat. He also has a g-tube. He caught a bad cold from me at 2 1/2 and quit eating. He was only eating purée pouches stage 2 because he has a sensitivity to any food that has texture. The doctors considered that as failure to thrive. Any insights you have would be helpful.
Hello. I believe that you are a very rational, down to earth and practical mum. Going through these phases myself. And it helps to hear from other parents... 🥰🥰🥰
Hi there. You are one awesome mom!! Thanks for the info you have me in your video. I am scheduled for my twins MMR vaccine and I am a little skeptical about it. I heard you choose for your younger ones to alternate vaccinations for MMR. Which one you did first and how far apart you did them?
Lovely Ideas by SUDHA!!! Thank you so much sorry you couldn’t understand it all . I’d love to do subtitles one day for you. Thanks for subscribing and watching xox
Great video! Does your son get extreme gut issues after accidentally eating gluten. Extremely painful cramps that bring screaming, maybe 5 or 10 minutes after eating it?
Coming Home to Autism Hey there love your video. I’m sorry for all this btw but I just need to get it out there. Why do people make fun of other people? Like today someone call me ugly and made fun of my parents. Do people not care what they say to other or do to other? Should I just leave mean people alone? What happened if they’re still talking behind my back? Im only 16 btw female. I wish everyone was like you.
Hi. I have a question, did u see a speech therapist for dylan? If so how did that go ? My son saw a speech therapist yesterday. We never been there before. She asked me 3 questions then told me if I can step out so she can be with him by her self in the room with him . He started crying after I stepped out . He was crying the whole time . She came out 5 Mims later n said I have to take him somewhere else. So I felt annoyed. Of course he's going to cry I'm not in there and he dont kno you . Any advice ?
Thank you. Delightful person to listen to and learn from. It’s unfortunate that you get negative feedback at times - too much time and not enough heart maybe 🤔 I wish you and your lovely family all the best.
Recently found your channel and have really been enjoying it! Excited for your Christmas videos! We are going to do Christmas WAY different this year (I have an 8 year old boy with autism), last year was... yikes! Take care💗
I think the big concern with the MMR vaccine is that for those who have multiple children they might want to try to prevent another child from acquiring a diagnosis. Thank you for everything you share.
Hi my daughter is diagnosed with severe Autism and non verbal. She will be 7 in February. Do you think speech therapy will work for her if I start now. She does go to special school.
That "redirecting" could well be the root cause of the lip picking. That is stress/ anxiety. Source: 48 year old autistic survivor of behaviour modification and parent to 2 thriving autie teens. Maslow's hierarchy of needs is possibly the best basis for natural development. "MMR" - look up "synaptic pruning" Homeopathy is a placebo.
Hi, Tara, I have a question regarding multivitamin before pregnancy, I have a son with Autism and he is 3 yrs and 10 months, I only started to talk folidacid after 6 weeks of pregnancy and I am worried its because of that and Been waiting for another baby, thanks
Recently I received a letter from my insurance with an authorization to do the genetic testing for my son and now I feel doubt about it. I mean is just like you said, is it going to change anything? But I also think on the research part because since now my son has it, it is more likely that his kids or my daughter's kids may have it and by that time, I want them to have more answers and hopefully some form of prevention or cure if I may say.
its a hard one, as i dont want autism to dictate my life to me. Will your daughter not have kids if there is an autism gene? you could alter her future life. its up to you and its such a personal journey. For me I didnt care and Dylan is a great mind who might one day make an invention to help clean up our air. ( he is very involved and interested in our enviroment) so if we wipe out the autisitic gene do we also get rid of all the geniuses? you know what is right for you lovely and you do whats right for you big hug x
Sounds like you want to say you think there was a correlation to vaccinations but stopped short. My son presented signs of autism directly after his vaccinations and in my opinion it may have had something to do with it but also we can’t change the past either way so we are focusing on the future and not losing any sleep over it.
Hi, just saw ur video and i as a mom feel very sad, i have twins girls , now age 2yrs but still not talking any words come out from their mouth, only mumbing, and my 1st twin she's walking tiptoe and we consult doc, and doc just say all this are syntom of autism bla bla bla, we when for speech theraphy too but nothing works.. Im not sure if my twins are autism or not, i cant sleep thinking bout all this make e cry so hard😢😢😢 im glad tat i found ur channel, much love from Singapore
How do you potty train an autistic boy? My boy is 5 almost six, and no sign of him being conscious enough to recognize when he has to go, motor skills are far behind and he still uses a diaper because it's a nightmare if we don't use one. He's also had bouts of playing with his feces...its just a game. It drives me insane. Will it ever stop?
Britney Million my son is 4 and still wears diapers. Since we are corona quarantined- 🤦🏻♀️ I’m using the time to let him run around with NO DIAPER. it’s been a few days, I take him and make him sit about every 15 mins. Today, TODAY, we heard him in the restroom and he was sitting on the potty and had gone #2!!! We were beside ourselves. I know he’s not fully potty trained yet, but it’s a start for us. I have found that pull ups and underwear don’t work for him because he ends up using it on himself. Best of luck!
I have a 19 year old brother with autism and he gets a little worser and its difficult to calm him down and he has this for like more than 5 years i think.
my four year old when he has meltdowns theres no consoling him! if you try it gets worse, I literally deal with him having meltdowns ALL DAY LONG EVERYDAY, the screaming, the spitting on the floor, the throwing and breaking of toys, he'll throw his whole body on the floor and scream and turn my chairs upside down..it drives me crazy and theres nothing you can do to stop it or console him we just have to wait it out. But this is every single day stuff
Sydney Sayers such a long time to wait isnt it. Similar thing happened to my daughter she didn’t come after my waters broke and it ended in a c section! 🙈
I have an autistic son and he was hitting his target when little but when he when to school nursery that when we notices differences He’s 10 and the school is main stream and he’s struggling so when go to next school we looked for a mixed 20% special and 80% main/normal
Hi Ma’am, I have my friend Nate on hotel. He is disturbing them when they were sleeping. So I’m 14 years old and he’s 14 years old. I said, “Nate, you need to exercise and not eat junk food. You need to eat healthy food. Not junk food.” He is diagnostic of the symptoms of obesity. He is obediently overweight with his own blood pressure when he went to doctors appointment with his parents. I did same thing I went to doctors appointments when I was in South Florida, I went to checkout the pharmacy for my blood pressure since I was 10 years old, I got remove the blood Epressure on my elbow was so low. For example, I was able to get my arm to be in my elbow. Now, he obese me in a few hours to go back to sleep before 6:00 AM. Anyways hope you having a good night sleep with your daughter and son. Take care Ma’am!
Hi again. I find the whole ehcp do difficult. I feel because Alfie doesn't have one his needs get pushed aside and we are the ones who have to deal with his meltdowns. Last year we had problems with homework so the senco but a reward chart in place and it worked but now Alfie is in year 5 the teacher doesn't give homework so you can imagine what year 6 will be like when he's given two pieces a week :( I feel some teachers at mainstream don't understand the importance of consistency with a lot of add kids x
Lisa orme I feel you. It’s so hard. I try not to put too much emphasis on homework. They are learning in school I read with dylan at night and we try do our own version of homework. But I try not to push him too hard after a long day at school for them. Sending you hugs mama x
@@ComingHometoAutism thank you I wish the school would be more accommodating with this. He has sarcastic notes in his diary if he doesn't read every night. Now usually Alfie will read but on the night he's swimming or does something else he doesn't. I find school sometimes an hindrance rather than a help as because he masks at school they sometimes forget his traits if that makes sense x
This is so common they mask it and we get the back end of it. Well your his mama you make the rules if they have a problem with it write one back and ask would they like to come around after school and see what’s it’s like?!? 🙈 I tell you it makes me mad! Stand your ground your amazing x
@@ComingHometoAutism thank you. I'm sorry to offload onto you. Alfie has anxiety and due to the autism service changing provider we are left with no help at all and I am being told they can't offer Alfie any support but then they wonder why so many asd children end up with poor mental health and are sometimes sectioned. It infuriates me it really does. I am a support worker to people with learning disabilities and autism and I know first hand how important child age support is. You do great with all your children they are very lucky to have you and your channel helps similar families x
My son used to have a meltdown probably 3 or 4 times a week. As he has gotten older though, he has one maybe once a month. I do distractions too. The one that mostly works, is me getting down like a horse and having him ride on me LOL. Of course it doesn't always work, and I won't be able to use it when he gets too much older. He is almost as tall as me. Autism just happens 🤷. Kids should be vaccinated. Love to everyone ❤️
Jaime Reynolds that’s awesome we used to do that too! I now have to lie on top of him! This as you can imagine gets some weird looks but I don’t care it helps him and he needs the pressure x
Hi,I live in wemblenton,I will like to ask you if he use to help you to wear his clothes or to reach his hands for you when he was 20 month?my son has strange behaviour but Hv says is ok not to worry but I am still worried.
Thank U for your thoughts 💭 on this subject.. What are statistics in your research on a second child being autistic.. Is it correct to say if your first child is autistic then the probability is higher with your second child... ? 🤔
Watch Vaxxed, watch Yrace amounts. Read Dissolving illusions by Suzanne Humphreys and How to end the Autism EPIDEMIC by J.B Handley. Read vaccines are they really safe and effective. Watch Malcolm is a little unwell. About a journalist who gets a yellow fever vaccine that fried his brain.
You’re amazing Tara! You’re helping so many, so don’t worry about the 1% that make those nasty comments. Love your channel ❤️
thanks mama xx
I was in so much depression but after watching your video I felt relaxed
Deepa Pai thank you. So nice to hear you feel a bit more relaxed x
My son just turned 8 years old and was recently diagnosed with Autism. I feel frustrated because we always knew something wasn't right or he was different, but was always told he just had sensory issues. I love all of your videos and even though I am in the US, they really help and make me feel like I'm not alone.
What I really appreciate Tara is you being honest and just letting your heart out . Wishing you and your family a merry Christmas 🎄 !!! Lots of love 💗
Priya Srinath thank you so much xox
My son is 20months old, diagnosed with GDD with a pending ASD diagnosis. We can relate to so much of yours and Dylan’s story, down to the gut health gluten and dairy intolerances. THANK YOU for this channel.
I needed this.
So relatable for ASD parents/carers. I’ve had so much anxiety over my daughter recently, the older she gets the harder it’s getting. I have no one that can relate personally. This video and the one you covered on the lady called Ross… I really needed this. Thank you ❤️
Big hugs to you
I love your channel and your family. Our son Jaxson is almost 3 years old and he also has autism. To see your family, your daily routines and everything in between, gives my husband and I so much hope for the future. Thank you!
thank you . sending you big hugs
So happy that I found these vlogs! Just in the time of need. Thank you and great videos!

You are such an amazing person, Tara! Thank you for being here with us and helping sooo many stressed, desperated and confused parents, just like me
Thank you so so much for this beautiful comment ❤
Thank you for your work. I found you on UA-cam just a week ago. My nine year old son was diagnosed with autism two months ago and we are trying to figure it all out and your channel is so helpful.
jskirodgers thank you so much and welcome if I can help or support in anyway please do let me know x
It's a huge start to think about having more children. It turned out good for you. Happiness is the best solution. ❤️
I absolutely love your channel I myself have a disability but not autism but I find ur channel and u just super inspiring just by actually being brave enough to talk the truth and not let anyone stand in the way of it
hey there thank you so very much for this lovely comment. it honestly means so much x
No worries and AWESOME I’m glad 😋
Dear Tara, I really really admire you, your strength, your logical reasoning, you are the best parent. Best wishes from Sweden. 🇸🇪
I pray that I will be able to get all the right resources he needs.
thank you x
you are a good example of a brave mother 😘
Marielle Torres thank you x
I just found your channel and watched all of your videos. I love your content, very honest and informative. I have a 6 year old girl with severe autism, she is non verbal, still in nappies and absolutely amazing!! 😀💖💖. Like you, I took a while to come to terms with it, but once I accepted it and embraced autism, life became so much easier. I have 4 kids aged 17, 12, 9 and 6. Only the 6 year old has ASD, the other 3 are neurotypical. I have already learnt so much from your videos, keep them coming. Much love from Australia 💖💖💖
Kaylene Harris thank you so much for your comment. Xox
Absolutely amazing hearing your journey. What an incredible job you do as a mum! Love how you addressed the vaccination question.
Angela Irvine thank you so hard to do x
Thank you for sharing your wonderful journey...it's so inspiring..You're blessed to be able to deal with this so positively...God bless always
Just love love love you and your beautiful family. thank you! we need more positive people like you in this planet. I will be looking forward to watch your next video.
Hanae Chiar thank you so much and thanks for watching x
You are doing great, love you!
this is amazing thank you for sharing. x
The presidents of several African countries, like Ghana, Nigeria have openly exposed that they have been bribed with billions and billions of dollars to force a mandatory DNA altering vaccination on the African population...(the mainstream media have been totally silent about that !)
Still, why would anyone accept any Vacc. that has not even been tested at least for 6 years, as they should !!!..even preferably 10-12 years before being used on humans ..besides, have there been done any independent studies on any particular vaccin, according "the golden standard"- done "double blinded placebo tests"?...Folks, the long term effects of the Covid vaccin are TOTALLY NOT proven at all!!!!
Last fully ripened"FIG" HARVEST is🌈OCT31 !!!......THE NEW YEAR starts when the FULL MOON is in VIRGO, and the SUN in ARIES, so THIS COMING🌈OCT31-1NOV is THE TRUE FEAST OF 📯📯📯TRUMPETS📯📯📯..... also 7th seal opened
🌈OCT31!!! ...the extremely Rare Full Blue"HARVEST"🌐moon🌈 OCT31!!!....According a very compelling Enoch calendar, 🌈OCT31 is the TRUE FEAST OF TABERNACLES!!! .......
Like hundreds of mainly Christians, I also had dreamvisions revealing 🌈OCT31, as the AWESOME DAY OF THE LORD !!!! (all happening at Halloween☠️OCT31!!)
.........
What about the CBS movie of 1994, "WHITHOUT WARNING" premiered 🌈OCT31!!! It is about RAPTURE+DISASTERS happening unexpected 🌈OCT31!!!!.....
Watch also the profound upload: "The Return Of The King": "Feast of Trumpets/Yom Kippur/ TABERNACLES/ on same day 🌈 OCT31!!!"
(Even the church of Mormons claiming 2020 being the year of the great🌈HARVEST!!)
"And I will raise him up at the LAST DAY " (the BODY of Christ, the truly devoted Christians!)🌈All coincidence? Don't think so !!! .. Will Jesus and millions of angels come (at) ONCE IN A BLUE🌐MOON?"...(and did Jesus not say .."signs in the moon.....etc", related to his Coming ?)
I send lots of love as well to these people, who are pestering your family! We need to show compassion to these disturbed souls. You are sharing so much and helping so much so we can raise our autistic children. Thank you so so so so much! When I see Dylan baby, he reminds me so much of mine :)
Thank you so much
Thank you for setting up this channel because it, s very helpful for me and my wife parenting our almost six years old daughter having classic autism . We learned a lot already but can't learn enough and will watch all of your videos to help my daughter the best we can.
Thanks again and greetings from the Netherlands.
hey there thank you for your comment. lovely to hear my channel is being a bit of help for you and your wife x
Hi I just start watching your channel, I have grandson age 3 who has autism. I am learning a lot about this subject and you are a brave amazing MOM. God bless you for the effort taking care of your kids, and having the time to put your experience in these videos which help lots of parents.
Thank you so much to share!!! lots of love and hugs!
thank you so much x
Hi Tara. I discovered your channel by chance. I'm from Morocco. I think that my son has autism. I learned a lot from you. I encourage you.
thank you so much x
No one forced you to take that. Majority of you shunned people like me who didn't take or wear a mask.
@@mauracraddockI’m so sorry you went through that ❤
I am from Pakistan.
Thank you for sharing, your experience, kind and understanding words, are needed in the world.
thank you so much x
Thank you so much for your happy outlook towards autism. Are you able to do a post or reply to me on what sort of funding the UK covers for autism and did you have to self fund a lot of the occupational and speech therapists? Where in the UK do you feel has the best support and networks for autism? Thank you!
hey there the Uk is great for funding, we have had to pay for a few other therapies our selves but the main ones are covered. there are long waiting lists but get your name down and dont stop calling. he who pesters the most wins ;-) i feel wandsworth in london was very supportive but i am now in brighton and they are good down here too x
Coming Home to Autism
Thank you so much for replying!
We already know her immune system will not respond normally to them."
So you are right on target when you talk about gut health being important! For my child, the GAPS diet (which is gluten and dairy free) was a life-saver.
I'm sure your calm, positive videos will help many parents! I'm looking forward to watching more of them.
EllyW thank you so much x
EllyW hello, I have an autistic nephew and I need to make you some questions. How can I contact you just to ask you some questions?
Thank you
I have a autistic son that he got misdiagnosed at birth and put it on 3-4 kind of antibiotics on the same time.I always think about those treatment and medicine might something to do with my son’s problem.
May I have your email or contact number?
Joy Hoss it has nothing to do with with what medication your child was given at birth your child is born with autism as it’s how the brain develops.

I didn’t know I had autism until recently. My dad passed it to me. I only found out he has autism after I found out I had autism. I found it out through my half-cousin who is more on the spectrum than my dad and I am. My half-cousin and I have different grandfathers but the same grandmother.
You are incredible and selfless person. You are a voice of reason its inspitational
Thanku so much....u answered almost all doubts that parents really hav...
We cant get stuck on what caused our children’s autism, i know its so easy to do though i did the same questioning. I know that if i dwelled on it too much i would go mad. I love your prospective I couldn’t agree with you more.
Shaunalea 82 thank you my friend 🥰
Loved this... I have a soon to be four on spectrum. I watch your videos whenever I am stressed during this journey. Please do more videos ....lots of love

Thank you for all you do to help us all!
Your videos help me tremendously! Thank you so much for sharing your experience ❤️
Did you make heavy metal test or Andy cutler protocol?
Hello, thanks for the information, very educative..my question is did you take TV away from your son routine?
Thank you for sharing your experience. Your a wonderful mama. Vaccines may not cause it, but they for sure are known to damage children as seen by vaccine courts. Other environmental factors like geoengineering are hurting us all and leaving heavy metals in our bodies. I seem to recall my son had his shots within two weeks of birth so that's super early and can make things very hard to discern. Knowledge is power and I'd tell every expecting mom to look into ingredients before getting them bc this knowledge can help other children and families.
very true x

That is awesome!
Thank God we had two other children after Drake's diagnosis. I want my son to be surrounded by people who love him
I am currently 31 weeks pregnant and my 2 and a half year old toddler shows signs of ASD. so I am currently pursuing a diagnosis in order to get access to more help. he is currently nonverbal and hes mamas little boy as he has a hard time connecting with anyone else including my husband (step father who has been in his life since he was 1). he does not seem aware that i am pregnant at all and i am concerned with the transition from only child to older brother.

I m from india i watch ur video,nt understand 100% but trying...bcoz i found positive vibes on this video
Lovely Ideas by SUDHA!!! Thank you so much sorry you couldn’t understand it all . I’d love to do subtitles one day for you. Thanks for subscribing and watching xox
Great video! Does your son get extreme gut issues after accidentally eating gluten. Extremely painful cramps that bring screaming, maybe 5 or 10 minutes after eating it?
hey there yes he does and his face goes bright red and his skin becomes sore x
I would certainly recommend a gluten free diet on that case . Sounds quite similar x
I wish everyone was like you.
have you tried nagalese testing or gcmaf treatments ?
I think my 4.5 year old is on the spectrum. Your videos are very encouraging!
Many thanks!
Recently found your channel and have really been enjoying it! Excited for your Christmas videos! We are going to do Christmas WAY different this year (I have an 8 year old boy with autism), last year was... yikes! Take care💗
Ellen V.S. Ah thank you. Well I have 12 steps that will hopefully make this years Christmas much easier for you all x
Thanks for sharing. I really like your videos.👍
"MMR" - look up "synaptic pruning"

Hi, Tara, I have a question regarding multivitamin before pregnancy, I have a son with Autism and he is 3 yrs and 10 months, I only started to talk folidacid after 6 weeks of pregnancy and I am worried its because of that and Been waiting for another baby, thanks
Thank you for sharing. The best wishes for you. ❤
You are a selfless, awesome and caring momma!!
My Grandson has autism. Listening to you has really helped me understand more. Thank you 😀
i m pleased to hear this thank you x
Sounds like you want to say you think there was a correlation to vaccinations but stopped short. My son presented signs of autism directly after his vaccinations and in my opinion it may have had something to do with it but also we can’t change the past either way so we are focusing on the future and not losing any sleep over it.

Both of my children have autism. My daughter was diagnosed way later shes 7. My son is 2 years old. I'd love more kids but it is rough most days.
Britney Million In my book I have a whole chapter on helping potty training from myself and my friend who is a therapist x
Very informative..Love ur family ❤️
thank you xox
Excited for your Christmas video and gift ideas. My nephew always plays with the same 5 toys despite wanting everything he sees in the store.

Sydney Sayers such a long time to wait isnt it. Similar thing happened to my daughter she didn’t come after my waters broke and it ended in a c section! 🙈
I have an autistic son and he was hitting his target when little but when he when to school nursery that when we notices differences
He’s 10 and the school is main stream and he’s struggling so when go to next school we looked for a mixed 20% special and 80% main/normal
Hi Tara! Thank you so much for all your advise...I feel like you're my therapist 😊
Thank you ao much. You guys are helping me through this.
We dont have help and then covid 19happened. You think its too late for my daughter to go for therapy?she’s 3 1/2. Thanks
You are lovely and your family is wonderful!
You are so kind
My son has autism and he is about to start behavioral therapy soon I hope it really works
HI there behavioral therapy takes time but stick with it because it really works best of luck with it x
The biggest thanks and much love always ❤
big hugs right back x
Thank U for your thoughts 💭 on this subject.. What are statistics in your research on a second child being autistic.. Is it correct to say if your first child is autistic then the probability is higher with your second child... ? 🤔
hey there ,the dr said it was 18% higher if i had one child on the spectrum. x
