G'day Brad, Can I buy a couple of boards off you? I'm building a Robotron with a Jrok board and these sticks feel perfect, but tbh my technical ability is limited to good cable management, haha. Cheers Brett
Hey Brett, Yes, I can provide. Actually, I made a pair up recently for a guy to use with Robotron and I don't think he is going to use them. May be able to by from him.... you can e-mail me brad.raedel@gmail.com
Is this the joystick used in NFL Blitz? I want to make a PC joystick using an optical joystick. I just don't know how to do the conversion. Is this something you can help me with?
You take a rare, hard to find, 49 way Williams joystick that seems to only be used for 2 games, and then convert it to a 8/4/2 way joystick that are all over the planet and easy to find? Send me all of your Sinistar joysticks.
Many Williams games use the optical stick that aren't 49-Way and there was no prior solution to get them. The control panel is very specific for this exact layout with the large bearing. (2-Way Optical: Some Joust, Motorace USA - 8-Way Optical: Bubbles, Splat, Inferno). These sticks were not from Sinistar, but Arch Rivals. Also, I'm making a drop-in custom board and the stick can easily be de-converted back to 49-Way without issue. I also make/sell a 304 Stainless Shaft that can be paired with a Red/Blue/Yellow Balltop depending on the game.
@@BradRaedel Arch Rivals uses the same as Sinistar except the ball is a different color, or at least that's my understanding. I didn't know the rest of what you replied here with. I've been going crazy for the last few days trying to track down a 49 way for a Sinistar and having zero luck finding one, then I see this video and all I could think is...NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I appreciate your reply and thank you for the insight!
Amazing work on all of that, Brad! Really, really cool.
