I'm not really a pinball guy, but most likely due to timing issues as well as the transistors used to drive the original incandescent bulbs. They don't perform the same with LED's. I think they have come out with some specialized LED's that overcome the issue without having to change drivers.
@@BradRaedel do you mean the transistors weren't shutting off completely which was causing the lamps bulbs ghosting issues? And what do you mean by timing issues causing lamp bulb ghosting issues?
