I'm tired of waking up and think about food all the time and scare of the first bite 😩
i’ve literally binged everyday for the last two months and went from underweight to healthy so i’m getting removed from my ED clicnjc (i’m not sectioned, i just meet with them every week) & it’s so funny how they genuinely don’t care about the binging or see it as a problem even tho it’s so painful and ruins my mental health so much. people have been making comments about my body changing too because it’s just SO apparent and i’ve been feeling so lost and helpless it’s so hard to not plan restriction when ive been anorexic for so long & don’t even want a healthy relationship with food but thankyou for this video and i’ll try as best as i can to get better ❤
I have the exact same situation as you for to e past two months too
Me too I was underweight and I binged and gained a lot of weight and everyone commented on how much I ate in a way that seemed like a compliment and seemed to urge me too eat more
I just want to tell you that I managed two all-you-can-eat lunches this christmas with my family, without binging and purging, thanks to your Videos! I´m more than greatful.
That is really amazing. Thank you so much for telling me ❤️
I don't know why but I binge when my sister is around. She's obese and often sabotages my weight loss efforts. Like today. I was practicing mindful eating but she came home with pizza, chocolate and donuts. In the beginning, I wasn't tempted to overeat but then I lost control. My problem is when there's all these different foods in the house, I want to eat all of the different foods. It's probably a scarcity thing because I had experienced starvation in a low point in my life due to poverty. That deeply traumatized me but I thought I got over it.
10 years of this.. almost 13 years actually.. thank you for your videos. First time something is clicking in my brain. I did understand these things before but there’s something the way you talk that actually SPEAKS to me. Thank you
Same. 20 years for me. ED started at 14 now I’m 34 just starting recovery journey. I feel like these videos are helping me so much. I hope you’re feeling better too.
Yea dang she’s completely right. I don’t think I have an ED-just went to a dinner party last night & overate tho. The whole time I operated on the assumption that I was gonna eat a full normal brkfst tomorrow & I think that helped me to have a bit more restraint. Now that it’s morning I’m not hungry tho so I’m gonna just eat a mini brkfst. U can still adjust after a binge based on how ur feeling, but a scarcity mindset DURING a binge would def make me fly off the rails 😅
I’ll write here what I’ll implement into my life for some accountability and to maybe inspire someone.❤
I will
- be kind to myself (I found that eating is the only time when I can let go of insecurities, fears and anxieties of my mind.)
- I will make time to read at least 10 pages a day. (A healthy way of escaping life for some minutes)
- I will make more time to focus on my art with love
- I’ll express my feelings in a healthy way through art, journaling
- I will dance more often and incorporate more fun into my life
That’s it for now.
Everything you said it's so true and I have all of that and it's so difficult to stop😭
I understand, Ailatan. Might I suggest booking in a call with me to see if I can help? You can find the link in the description of the video.
@@RachaelWrigleyare your sessions free miss? I think i am in a horrible binging state for 2 years and this turns into a depression
Thank you so much Rachael! ❤
Hey thank you so much for this. I tried to find resources about what to do after a binge and everything else was like "here's how to resolve your binge eating disorder" which is fine, but I wanted actionable steps for right now. Thank you so much.
What a helpful, authentic video. You clearly “get” the internal struggles those of us trying to conquer the ED demons face. I have found your recently and it is refreshing and so, so helpful. Thank you (and the squeaky flooring?chair? made me laugh😂
Honestly, my weight has really increased due to excessive eating without awareness of me, especially sugar, and every time I try not to eat a lot, I fail and eat a lot of sweets.
Once I start eating I don’t strip I can eat the whole 6 pack multi pack crisps a pack of skittles in half an hour with usually pizza on top or whatever I find I hate it I wish I was normal
This was so so so so helpful omg thank you
Thankyou so much for this! I’m struggling and needed it x
I notice that whenever I deny myself a healthy food I binge on a junk food . Even if I don't like the junk food .!?!?!?!.
The binge eating is almost every second or their day . And because I see the pattern I fear the day because I pre-empt it happening .
Thank you Rachael 💕
You're welcome, Pamela ❤️
Very good Video, thank you so much...👍
You're welcome ☺️
i’ve been in denial but i do every single one of these things
its important to be yourself, feelings overcome without your say. What you need is the strenght to distract easily
Thank You🫡
Thank you so much, this video has really helped me 😭🫶
“No drinking water is a bad idea” me who day fasts 😅for holistic purposes tho
For me it usually has something to do with boredom. It's so stupid. Need to just remind myself it is STUPID. Not worth it.
thank you
