      Dude stop it. The GSW Defense is crap because Mike Brown was Defensive Coach throughout the whole GSW Championships Run and now he's not.
      This isn't Rocket Science, but you don't want to give Mike Brown any credit reason why it took him so long to get another job even though for 6 Years the Cavs had the best defense winning them alot of games and getting to the Championship with just LeBron, then helping the GSW go to 6 championship winning 4 as the Defensive Coach.

      They need to put pool in the starting linup and move Klay to the bench.
      Then you have the Pool Green Dynamic that I doubt will ever get ironed out. Let's be honest.
      So you have to trade Green Weismann and or Kuminga for a Rim Protector who can move decently on the perimeter. There are guys out there.
      Keep looney.
      They need to decide soon.

    This Warriors team is leaning on young, unproven talent and integrating vets unfamiliar with our system more than any other point in the Steve Kerr era. The title teams were always a blend of the otherworldly talents of the Big 3 supplemented by smart veteran role players on cheap contracts. The Big 3 are aging and the young pieces they are counting on to bridge to the future, with maybe the exception of Moses Moody, aren't where the Warriors anticipated they would be. Poole has taken a step back this season I feel like. And Klay isn't the defender he used to be, and worse, is sometimes shooting the team out of games with poor shot selection. I think this team is going through some serious growing pains to integrate so many new players

      Warriors also really missing GP II and Dante was supposed to be helping on defense for the bench guys but has been injured. I really think they have to try PBJ out there, they lost their two PFs with size also and he has it. Draymond has been able to deal with bigger slower guys, but the league is quickly filling with bigger faster guys...

    Serious question: If the Warriors have the best starting line up in the league, which includes Draymond Green, how can Draymond Green be their biggest issue? Is he playing a lot of minutes with the second unit? Because at the end of the day if Draymond is playing most/all of his minutes with the starting line up, and the starting line up has the best off/def +/- in the league, then just mathematically Draymond can’t be the reason they’re losing.

    lol the Warriors starters have to win the game 2-3 times within the same game because of the kids and their bench blowing all leads and turning small deficits into huge ones while giving all the momentum and confidence, which is very hard to erase once you give it up in the NBA, over to their opponents, which is why they lost 5 straight to mostly bottom feeders of the league. You can't say they have one of the best starting 5 and then say the vets are the problem. Wiseman is basically the worst player in the NBA when you look at how negative the results are when he's on the floor. We went through this already in his rookie year - they went 15-6 without him after not being able to win 3 straight that entire season. Why is it so difficult to admit that it's hard to win games when you're giving key rotation minutes to a project? Have you ever tried to play basketball with guys that don't know how to play? You can't win against good competition. It's misery. The reason Wiseman's minutes look low is that they've had to yank him after the game quickly turns for the worst almost every time he comes in. He can't guard anybody or anything, doesn't like contact, can't catch the ball on half the lobs thrown at him and clogs the paint. They wanted him to be a useful rotational piece and it's not working out to the detriment of the entire team. The Warriors have a huge bench problem because they gave up their core bench to keep a bunch of kids. Adding Wiseman to that = a situation where it's almost impossible to win games. They finally barely won a game w/ him out of the game but bench problems still exist. He's eating up 10M of their salary, which is more than what GP is making, btw, you know, the cheat code championship piece they chose to let walk because Lacob preferred to keep his pet project. Maybe, JUST MAYBE, they can turn that 10M into an actual rotational piece so they don't waste this incredible opportunity to win another chip.

He's only 32, but the injuries left a mental toll on him that hasn't worn off yet. If I'm Kerr, after some things I saw last year, moody could very well be worth the start. He hasn't been bad or good, and maybe playing alongside steph more will help.

      @@manuprasad5354 ehhh I like moody but I don't think starting him is the answer, to me he isn't really going to be a starter till a long time down the line so no reason to start him then put him back on the bench. Also if klay taking tough bad shots now what u think he going to do coming off the bench. I just think Kerr needs to coach....and switch the rotations up, the starters been fine he just has to mix the right guys together. Think it's more important to play kuminga with Steph then moody because jk will punish teams with an open floor. Moody is really just a spot up shooter so he can do that on any lineup.

      I agree. The way he came off of the bench on to the floor to have a girly giggle with Bron in front of his own bench was seen by the team as a shameful act evidenced by Iggy’s hilarious response. If the Iggy has lost respect for him like that and Green just doesn’t care like that then he’s got one foot already out the door and his head is not in the same place as the rest of the team. From the finals up to now he’s been on this runaway train of fuq ups that warrants him being seen as an obstacle to the team’s success.

    I think I found the reason for the warriors troubles this season. During the celebrations after they won last season certain lines were crossed; Draymond's arrogant reiteration of their victory and Klay's caustic bitterness against the Celtic player whom he termed a bum. These might seem like insignificant infractions, but the damage they did to the underdog mentality they had was untold. They need to keep this mentality which, above all else, is what motivated them to keep working hard to stay on the cutting edge. Steph has to play a big part in repairing this damage, which if not healed, could them the team spirit as well as the title.

  • @themetalpig7613
    @themetalpig7613 Рік тому +8

    I think it all comes back to Draymond's punch. He was the emotional leader, yelling at guys on defence etc, but he looks disengaged by comparison to past years, maybe because he's gone into his shell a bit after the Poole incident. Also losing Mike Brown was a big loss as he was our defensive coach and very vocal on the sidelines...sometimes Brown was up and walking the sidelines yelling instructions instead of Kerr.
    Then the loss of GPII was huge, but that's the price of being a successful team, the vultures coming picking at the fringe players and before you know it you've lost key role players.

The two way players don’t know the schemes, and both Green and Thompson are looking long in the tooth.
