I adore this video. You did an excellent job diving into, ironically, the humanity in one of the greatest monsters in recent memory. Alucard doesn't scare me, he terrifies me, but it's because I understand. I understand that self-hatred all too well. I get it. The final scenes between Alucard and Anderson still give me chills. That sight of seeing someone make the same horrible mistake that ruined your life forever would be horrifying, but for it to be the one person who you've been hoping to meet this entire time would make it even worse.

Very nice Video. Alucard is one of my all time fav Characters, but i wonder, if he realy wanted to die, why kill all of his accumulated souls of his victims, to come back in existence. I think he loves Integra.
Alucard had possibly killed 3m plus people by the time he met Abraham Van Hellsing as he purged 3.4m plus souls in the anime. He possibly was surprised by Abrahams' ability and willingness to fight such a being regardless of his own fate. He imposed limitations on himself and allowed enemies to hurt him as a form of self fladgulation just so he could feel something whilst gaining the favour of the god he spurned. Penance through pain. Repentance through self rebuke. Sacrifice through service. Truth through overcoming temptation.
Did he choose to leave? I thought he had no choice when. The cat boy used his car boy powers on trying to force Alucard to be into traps. But Alucard ain't gay so he had to rid all those infected souls within him
