Good luck with your hunting.
@@felixperez3432 Thanks for watching, Felix!
Nice silver chain. It looked plated to me when you first pulled it out. Persistence payed off, congratulations.
@@allanohlsen7729 Hey Allan, thanks for watching as always my friend! And thank you. I was very unsure if it was silver until I got it home and cleaned it off. I thought it may have been plated as well. Thanks again.
The predator Phoenix shovel would be a great upgrade. I love mine. The lil hockey puck coil 6 in.is great around park benches. Where the jewelry is. Helps with pinpointing. Enthusiastic videos!!!!!
@@benhendricks9728 hey Ben. Thanks for the recommendation! I think I'll upgrade to a more superior shovel in the coming months. I have the smaller LG24 coil which I should have been using today but we've really cleared this place of signals and now just getting to those lower/sketchy tones. Thanks for watching!
Awesome videos . Just found your channel and I’m stoked to see another Jersey detector.
@@TreasureSquad22 Hey Joseph, thanks man! There's a surprising amount of us peppered throughout the state. Great to connect thanks again glad you enjoy the content.
Excellent digs dude
@@diggingnashvegas thanks man. Think I'm sticking to the beaches for a bit after this one lol too hot inland.
Awesome video. I went down the shore last night. All the way down temperature 9091. I'm like 2 miles from the beach. It goes down like 82 I get to the beach 67. Degrees got silvering, and a little over three dollars in clad💍⚖️🙏
@@michaelzsizseri8015 it's such a relief at the shore. Been debating on getting over there tonight but I have some stuff to get out of the way first. Great work on the silver!
I love the 30's on the Legend. I have tested all my jewelry finds and most register in the 30's
@@frankboet1 I feel like they offer the best risk/reward when going for gold or silver outside of digging strictly coin tones.
Nice chain… Wht do u hunt in Chris, like park or field? Do u run wide open or set buckets,
@@ragankendrick4036 hey Ragan, thanks. I change it up but I'm mostly running in park and multi 1 or m2. Been playing more with the single frequencies lately especially when I start hammering a spot. Typically I run wide open either 60 tone or pitch in an effort to not discriminate too much based on the tone.
@@JerseyDigs Rite on… I used to run park 1 but I done some testing and field 2 gets the deepest for my soil, and I run pitch… but I’ve been messing around with the frequency… run it around 4/5 and the frequency pitch at 25 and it bangs um out
@@ragankendrick4036 I'll have to give that a go thanks man
Any 17/1800s Relics out of that park? Looks like old ground.
@@jaydigshistory36 Hey Jay, thanks for watching and just subbed to your channel. Always nice to come across another NJ Detectorist. And yes! Not a lot but we have a few early to mid 1800s coins and a handful of older relics. There was an old farmhouse here before it was a park..majority of the finds have been from the mid 1900s to modern. We've been working on obtaining a permission for the neighboring property that is undisturbed and dates to the early 1800s as well. We've picked over this spot for 2 years now and the older stuff comes out here and there.
@@JerseyDigs Nice! Good Luck with the permission! I gotta nerve up and start knocking on doors.
@@jaydigshistory36 it's tough and we reallly pick and choose where to knock. Been skunked plenty on private permissions with one being amazing all mid 1700s-1850s finds. What area are you from?
@@JerseyDigs Passaic county
@@jaydigshistory36 plenty of history hiding in those parks up your way! If you ever make it down to the beaches feel free to reach out. Good luck.
What settings are you using?
@@billweser8931 nothing too crazy here. Park, M2, recovery 4, 60 tone.
@@JerseyDigs thanks I have found any silver yet so I will try those settings thanks again. Great video
@@billweser8931 id stick to M1 which is leveraged for high tones. Most silver will ring between 40 and 55 for the most part with the exception being chains. I was trying for gold today and got lucky on this big silver piece.
@@JerseyDigs I will be hunting a 1865 Mansion today if I find anything I will let you know thanks.
@@billweser8931 hope you had some luck!
