    Wow. A Field of Dreams. Sometimes those opportunities pop up and you make the time to reap the moment. Be sure to add the farmer/owner to your Christmas card list. And also nice calling in Pull tab to share the hunt. Well done 👍🏻

      Seriously it is a dreamy field and we still have so much of it to cover. I've gifted the farmer some finds and plan on returning in the fall with even more. He's a great guy. I've even invited him to come out with us and detect there I'm sure he has insight to where the activity was. And yes, Pulltab was essential in making sure we covered as much ground before we couldn't. Happy Hunting, Ed!

      This was a great day for finding coins. A tight window for these conditions! Can't wait to get back in the fall now that the entire field has been turned hopefully it's brand new again

    I think your escutcheon is actually a corset or garter clip.
    This is a cool hunt. Nice! Trime and a 2 cent.., jealous.

      After cleaning it up better I agree seems to be a clip. Thanks, Jay! And the best news of all is we were welcomed back in the fall. Lot more land to cover. Happy hunting

    Wow, flat ground, no corn stubble, sun on your back and lots of great targets equals detecting nervana. Congratulations of the beautiful finds, you guys. Is that the LG 35, Pulltab? Do you like it?

    • @ThePullTab
      @ThePullTab 27 днів тому +2

      That was actually the LG28. The 35 I break out on rare occasions but it is definitely a heavy beast. If I was doing it again I would probably buy the 30 but I don't know how much of an advantage it is over the 28 already. Find myself using the 28 8 times out of 10, with the other 2 split between the 35 and 15 depending on the hunt.

    • @allanohlsen7729
      @allanohlsen7729 27 днів тому

      @@ThePullTab I have the 30. It's a tad lighter than the 28 with about the same performance. I use the 24 coil most of the time. It's way lighter and performs just as good as the 28/30, with just a slight loss of depth, plus behaves better around emi.

    • @ThePullTab
      @ThePullTab 27 днів тому

      @@allanohlsen7729 yeah the 24 is hands down the best all-rounder. For me, having the 15/28/35, the 28 is the best compromise most of the time. The 30/24 combo is the best of both worlds. For a lot of our hunts we are at least trashy areas so the 28 & 30 work perfectly.

    Great hunt sure enjoy your videos you sure know your detector and I have learned a lot from your videos do you prefer the acupoint over the Garrett pinpointers

    • @JerseyDigs
      @JerseyDigs  27 днів тому

      Thank you! I still consider myself a rookie when it comes to detecting but I'm getting there. I can't comment much on the carrot but it is a great Pinpointer. I love my accupoint it just seems more thought out than others. Thanks for watching

      Hey George, planning on kicking it into gear this beach season in the coming weeks since spots inland have dried up or are unavailable during the summer. I bounce around in northern Ocean and southern Monmouth county beaches. Feel free to let me know when you're headed out I'd be glad to link up

    I found 2 two cents coin s one was the rare 1864 small motto and the other is 1865.

      @JerseyDigs  26 днів тому

      Nice. The two I have were both 1865. Great looking coin

    I actually believe that field is already planted with corn… I see evidence of 30 inch rows. It’s not hurting anything by you detecting

    • @JerseyDigs
      @JerseyDigs  27 днів тому

      I hope not! The owner didn't seem too concerned and the main farmer just shooed me off. But thanks for the heads up good to know I didn't cause damage. This is one of the few times detecting to this point of planting prep so I'll have to keep a better eye out in the future. Appreciate your insight.
