Looks good the triple score, got some depth 👍
Thanks for the video.
Regarding the pistol round, when troops came back from Europe at the end of WWII, there was an announcement on the ships that any 'trophy finds' live ammunition or weapons must be jettisoned overboard on penalty of Court Martial. The round will also fit in the British Sten Gun. Loved the video and first impressions of Score 3.
Wow! Great knowledge...thank you 😊🫡🙏
That spiked weight looks like the ones used off of piers for larger fish
Good vid Adam…I’m going to jump on this Triple Score when it’s avail, that’ll make eight detectors and I probably need to put the brakes on buying these things. 😂
Is it possible to have too many machines...🤔😅
It's been shipping to distributors so if it's not with your favourite retailer yet it will be any day now. It's an impressive bit of kit!
@@DTEKTSUSSEX I’m in Ga…I’ll check with the guy I buy from here in the next day or two, not sure any have made it to the US yet but not absolutely sure on that.
Great video Adam! I have found a live .50 caliber round from WW2 in my neghbors yard. I believe he brought it home from the war, he was a POW in WW2 in the US army. I have it save in my disay case. This machinr is amazing! ##noktanomads
Looks like a 9mm bullet only reference i can find to DWM is DWM K Deutsche Waffen uund Munitionsfabriken (1896-1945) - Karlsruhe, Germany.
Thanks. Yes, I put the manufacturer and details on the screen. It's definitely 7.65mm calibre and from a WW2 Browning pistol 😊👍
Top video, well done
luckily I have my triple score already in early this week just a great machine 👍🏻😁
I will be getting the triple score maybe i already have the double score
Hola amigo, muy interesante aventura y búsquedas, te envío un gran saludo y un gran abrazo desde chile para usted compañero 🙋♂️🇨🇱😊🤜🤛👍💪🙏⛏️🗝️💍🗡️🛡️💞
Very interesting test of the new Score. Did you find out if you need to report the live round?
I believe I do. I'll at least have a conversation with the local station to be sure 👍
That looks like a 9mm round to me.
That was my first thought but it's 100% 7.65mm
Very good no nonsense and NO planted finds video again as normal BUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! huge mistake IMHO when you demonstrated the bottle cap rejection I was waiting for you to put a good target a coin a gold ring anything really next to it to SEE IIF the bottlecap rejection has knocked these out as well ????
No mistake. The aim of the demonstration was purely to show how well the feature cancels out a bottle cap and the extent to which it does so through the range of the setting.
The kind of test you're looking for would take much more time due to the necessity of testing multiple targets with different metal types to be in any way useful. Otherwise the test would draw even more criticism.
If the opportunity arises, I am planning to do the test you suggest, but a quick hunt on the beach was simply not the appropriate time 👍
@@DTEKTSUSSEX FAIR COMMENT but !! how do you know if it stop you hearing gold or silver I would be scared it was blocking everything we want to find
as its one heck of a filter to stop hearing the bottle cap
You know by doing a test designed to demonstrate it. Which this wasn't.
As I said, I'm hoping to do that kind of test when time and conditions allow 👍
Great video as always Adam, I have the legend which I use on the beach and I love it, I recently won a double score in a competition, it's a good machine but I wish it had the range of tones in beach mode like the legend does, do you think nokta would do and update to add these tones in the future?
More tones is definitely good on the beach. I doubt they would update the DS though...it's definitely a more premium feature.
Interesting bit of kit and at a decent price. Nice one Adam.
I understand the different levels of machines that Nokta is producing, but in my mind it seems it would have been sensible to create an entry level machine that could be upgraded to higher levels with (purchased) downloads. Nokta wins by only having to produce one machine, users win by not having to purchase new machines as they upgrade.
There are plenty of downsides to the software method of changing the tiers of a machine. The most obvious and damaging one being that soon after release someone will crack the software and make it available online. I can see this happening with the new Garrett (which I assume you're alluding to) very quickly after release.
It also presents additional complications. Even with the Nokta software updates, simple though they are, we get plenty of people who struggle whether through technical variations in computer set-up or simply people not following the instructions.
There are other issues with that system too (not least the fact the second hand/resale market would be a NIGHTMARE!).
@@DTEKTSUSSEX all good points, though the business mind of mine still struggles with the large number of layers in the product line. Nokta does seem to know what they're doing though.
