Definitely considering the triple score.
luckily I have my triple score already in early this week just a great machine 👍🏻😁
Already own a legend as a new user , and I've just ordered the triple score end of year seasoned searcher pack for the wife to use :)
Regarding the pistol round, when troops came back from Europe at the end of WWII, there was an announcement on the ships that any 'trophy finds' live ammunition or weapons must be jettisoned overboard on penalty of Court Martial. The round will also fit in the British Sten Gun. Loved the video and first impressions of Score 3.
Wow! Great knowledge...thank you 😊🫡🙏
Ive just brought the triple cant wait to get out and use it 👍
Looks good the triple score, got some depth 👍
Have acquired a score and it is quite good on roman and easy to search with and finds around 8 inches, also I use my minelab 514 which is very good to play with but goes to 13 inches on wet days, both are very different but both make nice roman finds 👍
Great video Adam! I have found a live .50 caliber round from WW2 in my neghbors yard. I believe he brought it home from the war, he was a POW in WW2 in the US army. I have it save in my disay case. This machinr is amazing! ##noktanomads
Just bought a Triple Score myself! can't wait to get it now. Thanks for showing it in action. It feels a little less scary now :D And it would be rude not to Sub and like after such an informative video!
Awesome! Thanks for watching and subbing! Enjoy that brilliant machine!
Interesting bit of kit and at a decent price. Nice one Adam.
Thanks for the video.
Top video, well done
I found a similar live round once before too. Not knowing how to dispose of it i diligently took it to the Police Station thinking that was the right thing to do. The desk Sergeant was non too impressed of my troubles and told me to go chuck it in the river. 😳 I felt like a right lemon.
Hola amigo, muy interesante aventura y búsquedas, te envío un gran saludo y un gran abrazo desde chile para usted compañero 🙋♂️🇨🇱😊🤜🤛👍💪🙏⛏️🗝️💍🗡️🛡️💞
I want to join in this hobby and looks like Triple Score will be my winner here in NJ USA.
It's SO impressive!
Cheers for the vid fella, 100% want a new detector and i'm very much looking at a score
Considering the Double as i don't need all the bells and whistles of the Triple - but the Triple comes with the BT Headphones AND that extra coil - so value for money the Triple pro pack wins hands down
otherwise i'd need to get the double AND some BT headphones to go with it - making it almost the same price as the triple
so it's a tough choice... steeper learning curve but better value for money or more turn on and go but i have to buy accessories.
it's going to come down to my laziness i think haha (then i gotta sell off my vanquish 440)
The Triple does everything the Double does in the same way. It just has a few more menu options.
Get the Triple Pro Pack and only use the features you're comfortable with. Then as you learn you have those other settings available when you're ready 😊👍
Live round will not hurt you
That spiked weight looks like the ones used off of piers for larger fish
Great video as always Adam, I have the legend which I use on the beach and I love it, I recently won a double score in a competition, it's a good machine but I wish it had the range of tones in beach mode like the legend does, do you think nokta would do and update to add these tones in the future?
More tones is definitely good on the beach. I doubt they would update the DS though...it's definitely a more premium feature.
Good vid Adam…I’m going to jump on this Triple Score when it’s avail, that’ll make eight detectors and I probably need to put the brakes on buying these things. 😂
Is it possible to have too many machines...🤔😅
It's been shipping to distributors so if it's not with your favourite retailer yet it will be any day now. It's an impressive bit of kit!
@@DTEKTSUSSEX I’m in Ga…I’ll check with the guy I buy from here in the next day or two, not sure any have made it to the US yet but not absolutely sure on that.
That looks like a 9mm round to me.
That was my first thought but it's 100% 7.65mm
Very interesting test of the new Score. Did you find out if you need to report the live round?
I believe I do. I'll at least have a conversation with the local station to be sure 👍
Looks like a 9mm bullet only reference i can find to DWM is DWM K Deutsche Waffen uund Munitionsfabriken (1896-1945) - Karlsruhe, Germany.
Thanks. Yes, I put the manufacturer and details on the screen. It's definitely 7.65mm calibre and from a WW2 Browning pistol 😊👍
I understand the different levels of machines that Nokta is producing, but in my mind it seems it would have been sensible to create an entry level machine that could be upgraded to higher levels with (purchased) downloads. Nokta wins by only having to produce one machine, users win by not having to purchase new machines as they upgrade.
There are plenty of downsides to the software method of changing the tiers of a machine. The most obvious and damaging one being that soon after release someone will crack the software and make it available online. I can see this happening with the new Garrett (which I assume you're alluding to) very quickly after release.
It also presents additional complications. Even with the Nokta software updates, simple though they are, we get plenty of people who struggle whether through technical variations in computer set-up or simply people not following the instructions.
There are other issues with that system too (not least the fact the second hand/resale market would be a NIGHTMARE!).
@@DTEKTSUSSEX all good points, though the business mind of mine still struggles with the large number of layers in the product line. Nokta does seem to know what they're doing though.
I'm a garret guy but I just bought a triple score to tryouts
Awesome!
I will be getting the triple score maybe i already have the double score
i"m new to detecting. ive been looking at the Triple score but i feel its not aimed at a newbie. Is it an easy machine to get to grips with nor do you recomend something a little less complicated for a novis.
I'd say it depends on the individual, their level of patience and how technology-friendly they are.
For a patient newbie who's willing to put some time in, it's a great machine that will last years and years. Start with basic settings and learn more advanced features as you grow in experience.
If you're only going to get out once in a blue moon, have little patience and/or low tolerance for tech, I'd suggest maybe the Score or Double Score to get started with.
Hope that helps!
Well as
I get older I seemTo be loosing a bit of patience🥴. So probably not the detector for me. Great video’s by the way. Keep them coming 👌👍
What’s your thoughts on this against the ultra?
It depends on your needs and budget. If you're hunting mineralised land or beaches then a multi frequency will always perform better. Otherwise the Ultra is a total coin magnet...especially on pasture.
Just one thing bud you didnt show how to do the ground balance ?
If I show everything on every episode I'd never get to show any of the actual hunt 😅
Just select the GB mode, hold the pinpoint button and pump the coil up and down a few times until the number on the screen roughly settles.
Very good no nonsense and NO planted finds video again as normal BUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! huge mistake IMHO when you demonstrated the bottle cap rejection I was waiting for you to put a good target a coin a gold ring anything really next to it to SEE IIF the bottlecap rejection has knocked these out as well ????
No mistake. The aim of the demonstration was purely to show how well the feature cancels out a bottle cap and the extent to which it does so through the range of the setting.
The kind of test you're looking for would take much more time due to the necessity of testing multiple targets with different metal types to be in any way useful. Otherwise the test would draw even more criticism.
If the opportunity arises, I am planning to do the test you suggest, but a quick hunt on the beach was simply not the appropriate time 👍
@@DTEKTSUSSEX FAIR COMMENT but !! how do you know if it stop you hearing gold or silver I would be scared it was blocking everything we want to find
as its one heck of a filter to stop hearing the bottle cap
You know by doing a test designed to demonstrate it. Which this wasn't.
As I said, I'm hoping to do that kind of test when time and conditions allow 👍
Triple score or simplex ultra? 🤯 can’t choose… what is best to choose?anyone who can help me out?
The Simplex Ultra is a single frequency machine. The Triple Score is a Simultaneous multi-frequency machine...that also has single frequency options.
If you're doing beaches and mineralised ground, 100% go for the Score³.
If you're still unsure...go for the Score³
@@DTEKTSUSSEX so basically the same machine but the triple score has the ability to search in multi frequency mode. So I think it’s better to go for the triple instead of the ultra, right? 👍 from Amsterdam, and keep up the good work! Cheers
It's a multi frequency machine that also has single frequency modes so...the other way round 😅
But yes...if you're unsure, go for the Score³.
And didnt do any pinpointing either ?
