How sweet! ❤
Thank you Corrine good idea to put in a version of only the bird. It will be so easy to find quickly again for reference. As I don't have a larger bird for my summer project (yours was the blue jay) I foresee this most definitely in my future. So helpful as always.
Hi corrine, like the birds going for a try!
Cute ❤❤
Often thought about doing this method with other small block patterns, but didn’t have a place for them in my quilts. Now that I’m doing more small slow stitch projects, plan to revisit this idea again. Thanks Corrine
You are so welcome!
Thank you Corrine, love your birds. I have been getting back into quilting so this was great timing and very enjoyable. I used steam-a-seam 2 for the first time and not a bad product. Anyway, I'm going to join hubby watching PBR (bull riding) and will carry on stitching my bird...thanks again. ❤
Great little project!
I love this little bird. I used the same fabrics to make one. He is the center piece of my Roxy Creation covered box project❤
That is awesome!
Cute❤
What a great adaptation of a traditional quilt block the possibilities are endless! Thank you for always showing us such amazing creativity Corrine! ❤️
Oh yes.. so many out there we can use as slow elements
if you flip your fabric over and lay the pieces out the same you could have a bird facing the other direction once you flip the fabric up the right way.
Great idea
Love the red and blue birds
Love this idea and the cute bird shape.
Thanks so much for this sweet bird!
Thanks for showing us a great project, regards Marg.❤
What a great idea. You have so many though. Love it, thank you.
They are so cute 😍
Love his highness, very cute possibilities. Ur slow stitching gives me seeooow much want 2 do, U make it look fast stitching on small areas.
Winter here we come with lots of birds on houses and Tilda fabric yay. French General series birds sounds a great idea 2, what U think. A pity my housework takes a back seat of late, stitching has taken over in a mad way. Mums lace table cloths r getting trimmed up in2 little cute boxes, ohhhh what fun. Thank U 4 getting me on2 a different pathway and hand stitching, glory beeee.
Meals made up and in the freezer, no time 2 waste but stitch.
So many ventures we will all be making with U. Thanks heaps from Kiwiland . Still feeling like Summer days this late, just on Anzac Day 2moro and hope sunny and warm still but very cool mornings now. So stitching mornings and out in the avos watching scallywag dogs playing .
Look 4ward 2 Ur next treat.
Cheers.
Thanks joining me at my tables.. I can see little bird in many colours too!
Made one and trying another 😍. Thank you!!
Awesome! What colours did you use?
@@tobelovedtreasuresbycorrine I did a blue one and working on a red and cream one.. I will post photos on the FB page when I get them both done 😍
Wondering if you could cut out the whole shapes from the template so you have one template for each colour. It would be less fiddly
The fiddling make it fun..
I'd have to do it that way
Lovely but to fiddly
I think I'd use a tiny dab of glue so I wouldn't lose that beck
Yeah.. that would help
What size needle are you using
No 100% sure .. very fine is the trick.
