You suffer with migraines too? 😭 I literally had to go get glasses a few months ago to wear when I face the computer screen. It got worse over the year due to online learning and my migraines got worse haha. I wonder what the condition is called…the opticians couldn’t tel me the exact name but just said I needed to wear glasses when I look at computers etc.
Yeah they started around this time last year! I think it developed because of the transition to online university compared to actual sit in lectures! Got some blue light glasses and my eyes seem to have been perfect ever since😎 went through a period of constant headaches for weeks straight, glad I don’t have that anymore 😂 hope your migraines are better too!!
Thank you so much for this video! It was very interesting to see what offers are available when studying maths in university. I have to admit though, I thought there would be more coding involved. From this video it seems only your statistics and computational mathematics courses had coding and they were both in your first semester. And you didn't mention anything about coding at all for your second semester courses. Did coding have more relevance in your third year courses then? Waiting for your third year video too! Also, I just want to appreciate you for all your hard work. You've been uploading more frequently and each of them has been very helpful for me as an aspiring maths student. Thank you once again! 💚
I am releasing a video about how much coding is involved in a maths degree very shortly!! Third year you do your dissertation which can be filled with coding (that’s what I did!) but other modules weren’t. It’s difficult because you’re studying a maths degree so the exam board will need you to do a substantial amount of maths! It could be worth considering a maths with computer science degree?? 🤩 Thank you so much! Trying to release content people want to see! Hope they’re helpful☺️
thank you for sharing! I'm from Malaysia currently in Engineering Diploma but thinking of pursuing Math Degree.
Smart Ellie, keep up going that way!!
Thank you so much!!
Vector calculus is also used for electromagnetic fields and waves in Physics.
It is indeed!
Wow thank you for this it is very helpful and super detailed
Thank you! Tried to include everything I possibly could 😁
In the US it takes 4 years and we usually start with precalculus
ooo I see!!
